Pastor Greg begins our new sermon series, "The Anointed One: Prophet, Priest, and King," by discussing what it means to be anointed, why we call Jesus the Christ (anointed one), and what this means for us as Christians--those who amazingly walk in the power of Jesus' anointing as the new temple of the Holy Spirit.

We are all looking to improve our health. Matter of fact, the number one New Year's resolution for 2023 is to improve our mental health. There is a short list of very important things we can do to accomplish that top desire, but only one stands above and beyond the rest. In this brand-new series, we will focus all our energy on this Magic Elixir that truly transforms our lives.

Have you ever felt fully known and fully accepted? God wants a relationship with you where you are fully known and know that your are truly loved and fully accepted. There is no part of you that is not known by the God who created you. He wants you to know that he loves you and is pleased with you.
What do you see when you see you? That's the question that Pastor Chris Kipp begins with in this teaching on Identity In Christ. Chris traces identity in the life of Christ and challenges us to see ourselves through the cross of Jesus. Renaissance Church - Richmond, Texas ren-church.org #alloflifealltheearth
Faith Path Part 7: Living in Community. We Americans tend to individualize our faith and say we can grow close to Jesus on our own, but God's Word tells us to grow together in community. Join us as we explore three reasons why, at our core, we are MADE to live in community with other believers.
Epiphany Lutheran Message is part of the Sunday and Wednesday worship services of Epiphany Lutheran Church. We believe when the Bible says all, it truly means ALL because the gifts of God are free. For more info go to epiphanysuwanee.org.
Fire has long been a symbol for the divine-- perhaps one of the most well known images in the bible is when God speaks to Moses through the burning bush. Surely God chose that bush for a reason, right? Or what if he said "Any old bush will do"? What if any thing could be a bush? Any place? Any person? Accompanying scripture passages are Exodus 3: 1-14 and Luke 3:15-16, 21-22.
Rev. Linda Powers (with her companion, Beta) provided our sermon, The Trinity - Covering All the Bases. During Discovery Time she helped the children understand the image used to illustrate our cover.

Choir Anthem presented after the scripture and sermon “Down to the River to Pray" ~ arr. David Haas .......... Luke 3:15-17, 21-22 (NRSV) 15 As the people were filled with expectation, and all were questioning in their hearts concerning John, whether he might be the Messiah, 16 John answered all of them by saying, ‘I baptize you with water; but one who is more powerful than I is coming; I am not worthy to untie the thong of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 17 His winnowing-fork is in his hand, to clear his threshing-floor and to gather the wheat into his granary; but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.’ 21 Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened, 22 and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am well pleased.’
