Today we consider God as Elohiym, a God of power and might. In the book of John, we learn ‘Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.' Such a singular and complete statement. All that exists was made by God. Light, life, love, our world, and the universe. In His was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. Light is life - the essence of us and of God. Come and listen to the truth about Elohiym, our great God above all gods.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. The Trinity is a complex theological concept. How can God be three in one—all distinct yet the same? The clearest example of the trinity, because the word trinity is NOT found in scripture, is when Jesus is baptized by his cousin John. In this sermon we explore the mystery of the Trinity.

What is God? All of Christianity centers around the being of God. Therefore, before we believe anything else, we have to understand who the God of Christianity is. Sometimes more news is made than a week can hold. We generally record our Right Angle segments on Tuesday mornings: which means the Great Thursday Night Massacre, and all of the MUST REPLACE BIDEN NOW! news cycle swept past us before we could get to the next taping. But not to worry: we have fully regurgitated all of the time-worn arguments into one convenient, three-in-one episode where sparks almost fly amid the desire for justice and the indignity of mere revenge. Garen Forsythe | 01-21-2023 | The Trinity: Three-In-One? Really? by TABC
A century ago, USC built its first dormitory for women, whose presence on campus had not been warmly welcomed when the first females arrived in the 1890s. While women's dorms have come and gone on campus, the Women's Quad retains its status as the original location for and the only present location of women's-only residence halls at the university.
Our series continues on doctrines we must stand firm upon. In this message, Derek shows us the Biblical teaching of the Trinity (One God in three persons) and why it matters for us to understand and live according to God's example.
The Trinity is foundational to our faith as Christians...let's take some time and see how EACH of the three Godhead's make one God. Father Son and Holy Spirit

It is our privilege to know God as He is: one God existing eternally in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
An examination of the Trinitarian claim that God is a compound unity, "three-in-one". For full written text of this podcast see here: https://landandbible.blogspot.com/2023/08/hear-o-gentiles-lord-your-god-lord-is.html That the God of the Bible, YHVH is one, is a difficulty for Trinitarianism. In about AD 530 the Christian Byzantine Emperor Justinian even banned the recitation of the Shema since he considered it to be a denial of the Trinity. But modern Trinitarianism takes a different approach, claiming that “one” can mean three because “one” can mean a compound unity. Three things together can make up one of something else. A couple of biblical examples are put forward. For instance, in Genesis 1:5 evening and morning are one day. A husband and wife become one flesh (Gen. 2:24). The spies came back with one (echad) cluster of grapes" (Num. 13:23). Let's take a closer look at the “compound unity”, “three-in-one” claim. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/onegodreport-podcast/support
Hard to know where to even start with this one, to be honest. The Trinity is one of the most paradoxical, "accept on faith" concepts in all of Christianity. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All-in-All, Three-In-One nature. While being careful not to slip in modalism or tritheism, we attempt to work on this theological idea that has stumped Christians for thousands of years. A homily delivered by Deacon Jeffrey Still on Trinity Sunday, June 4th, 2023. The lectionary texts for the day were - Genesis 1:1 - 2:3 - Psalm 150 - 2 Corinthians 13:5-14 - Matthew 28:16-20
Unity is a tricky thing. If you look up "unity" in the dictionary you'll find descriptors like "oneness" - and also words like "harmony." One definition excludes anything with distinct elements; other definitions require distinct elements to create the "accord" of unity. So Christians aren't making things up when we insist that God's oneness is the second kind of unity: unity of plurality. Today we'll find even more scriptures that display that truth. If there were only a verse or two about plurality within the One God, we could explain them away. In fact, all through the Bible - in both testaments - there's something going on here. The text leaves zero room for doubt about God's unity. Then, as we keep reading, we find references to the Son of a Father; a Lord, and a Lord; a God...with a God! We won't solve the mystery of the Trinity today, but here's Jim to tell us more about the Three-in-One. Is the concept of the Trinity an invention, or an explanation? God is one! - there's no disagreement about that between Christians and Jews. But it raises some problems when reading the Scriptures. Really, it's one problem over and over again: The Law, the Prophets and the Psalms often present that one God in ways that challenge our one-dimensional idea of "one."Today Jim will remind us where we've been in this study, then give us a whirlwind tour of the Old Testament. Listen to Right Start Radio every Monday through Friday on WCVX 1160AM (Cincinnati, OH) at 9:30am, WHKC 91.5FM (Columbus, OH) at 5:00pm, WRFD 880AM (Columbus, OH) at 9:00am. God was about to reveal Himself to humans in a new way. The Eternal One cannot change. But there have been a few times in history when He "came closer," to us, and we saw Him more clearly. As Jesus spoke to His disciples in the Upper Room, one of those changes was about to take place. We would soon get a glimpse of what the One God means by, "Us." We're in John, chapter 14 to complete Jim's message, The Three-in-One, Part 1. Listen to Right Start Radio every Monday through Friday on WCVX 1160AM (Cincinnati, OH) at 9:30am, WHKC 91.5FM (Columbus, OH) at 5:00pm, WRFD 880AM (Columbus, OH) at 9:00am. We can have unity because of the unity within the Godhead. In recent days, as we've contemplated Jesus' remarks in the Upper Room, we've noticed His promise that He would be "in" the Disciples... and related promises regarding the Father and the Holy Spirit. And that this indwelling would bring harmony among believers. It's an expression of the very nature of God: plurality in unity. Pastor Jim will stick close to the Bible as usual, as we study the Three-in-One.
