In this powerful message, we explore one of the most essential titles of Jesus: "The Son of God." As we examine key passages from Scripture, we come to understand that this title signifies more than just a name—it embodies the divine nature of Jesus and His role as our Savior. From His miraculous incarnation to His atoning sacrifice and His ultimate victory over death, we uncover how Jesus' identity as the Son of God transforms not only our understanding of Him but also our relationship with God. Join us as we dive deep into who Jesus truly is and what it means for our lives today. Five-Day Devotional for "He is the Son of God" Day 1: Jesus, Our Messiah Scripture: Mark 1:1 Reflect on how the Israelites longed for a Messiah and how Jesus, as the Son of God, fulfills that promise. Take time today to thank God for sending His Son to heal, save, and redeem us. Consider how your life is different because of Jesus' coming. Prayer: Lord, thank You for sending Your Son as the long-awaited Messiah. Help me to fully trust in Your salvation and walk in the freedom Jesus provides. Day 2: God Among Us Scripture: Colossians 2:9 Meditate on the reality that "in Christ, all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form." What does it mean for God to walk among us in the flesh? Ponder how Jesus' divine nature impacts your daily life and worship. Prayer: Jesus, thank You for coming to live among us as God in human flesh. Help me to see You as both my Savior and my God. Day 3: The Atonement for Our Sin Scripture: Romans 5:10 Today, focus on the incredible sacrifice Jesus made on the cross to atone for our sins. He took our place and bore our punishment. Reflect on how this act of love transforms your relationship with God. Prayer: Father, I am in awe of Your Son's sacrifice. Thank You for reconciling me to You through Jesus' death and resurrection. Help me to live a life that honors His sacrifice. Day 4: Victory Through Jesus Scripture: 1 John 5:4-5 We don't fight for victory, we fight from victory. Jesus has already overcome the world. How does this truth change the way you approach challenges in your life? Walk in the assurance that through faith, you are an overcomer. Prayer: Lord, thank You for the victory that I have in Jesus. Give me the faith to live boldly, knowing that You have already won the battle. Day 5: A Paradigm Shift Scripture: Galatians 2:20 When we place our faith in Jesus, everything changes. It is no longer we who live, but Christ who lives in us. Reflect on how this truth has shaped your life and how you can continue to live by faith in the Son of God. Prayer: Jesus, I surrender my life to You. Live through me, guide my decisions, and help me to follow You more closely each day.

Today, Steve Boul speaks in week 4 on the Trinity. We will spend time this fall focusing on each of the persons in the Trinity, as well has extended time on the gifts of the Spirit. Today's message focuses on the person of Jesus the Son. The Trinity is not simply a doctrine to know but our God that we are meant to experience. We are meant to be loved by the Triune God and to love in response. Over the course of this series, we will spend time on the God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. At Christian Fellowship, we love to say "we are seated in the Father's love, centered on Jesus, and empowered by the Holy Spirit." In this episode, Pastor Frances enlightens us on those titles' profound meaning and purpose, inspiring us with the significance of Jesus' humanity for our faith. Today on the Unchanging Word Bible study Dr. Mitchell looks at Hebrews 4:14-16 where we see Jesus, the Son of God, our great high priest. Jesus was tempted in all points as we are yet, without sin. Not only is Jesus the Son of God, the only begotten of the Father, but He is also the as we have learned, the Son of Man, born of a virgin. Therefore, as the true man, Jesus is without sin. There are other scriptures that declare that our Lord Jesus had no sin, did no sin, and in whom there is no sin. Jesus said to his opponents: "Which of you convicts me of sin? If I speak truth, why do you not believe me?" John 8:46 So as God manifest in the flesh, Jesus can now today sympathize with you and me in our weakness, since He too was tempted in all points as we are. So, turn with us here in your Bible to Hebrews 4:14 with our teacher, Dr. Mitchell.
Christianity serves a God in three persons…whatever that means. The Trinity is the most confusing, complex, and confounding thing in all of the faith. But the Bible tells us to seek, ask, and knock. So join Pastors Joel & Chase, as they translate the trinity, in this series. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the-bridge-church/support
