The “Son of Man” seems to be the preferred title that Christ uses Himself…about eighty times in scripture. Human and divine—and how thankful the world is for the Son of Man. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1561/29?v=20251111

Part two of the "Who Is JESUS?" series. Pastor Richard continues the series as we focus attention on JESUS, who He is and Why He came. Through a story in Daniel, he shows us that there are 5 things discovered when you are in the fire, going through something in your life. All this reveals that NO ONE can SET PEOPLE FREE like JESUS!
Why do we prefer angelic beings, mystical experiences, and dramatic encounters over Christ? Could it be that the eye of our spiritual activity is focused in the wrong place? In this message from Hebrews 1:5–14, pastor Jeremy Writebol seeks to show us the superiority of Christ above all the "bright shiny objects" so that we will fix our eyes on him.
In a world saturated with voices claiming to define what is true, good, and beautiful, who should we trust to reveal ultimate reality? In Part 2 of the Wonder Christmas series, Pastor Jacob Ley unpacks Hebrews 1:5–14 as it encourages us to behold the greatness of Jesus as the Son of God. By comparing Jesus with angels, the author of Hebrews shows us that Christ is greater because of His sonship, His status as King, and His sovereigntyThis message invites us to recover a sense of wonder at who Jesus truly is and how He is greater than every other mediator or guide!
7th December 2025Morning service
It's easy to become so familiar with Christmas that we lose sight of its wonder and holiness. This message invites us to slow down and behold Jesus the Son with fresh eyes—the God Most High who became most low to invite us into His family. Christmas isn't the story of us finding God, but of God coming to us.

In this sermon, we looked at Daniel 7 and saw "one like a son of man" who came with the clouds of heaven and was presented to God, the Ancient of Days. This Son of Man was given dominion, glory, and an everlasting kingdom where all people and nations serve him. This Son of Man is Jesus—fully human and identifying with our struggles, yet fully God and sinless. Jesus took on the title "Son of Man" from Daniel 7 to fulfill his mission of redemption for all who come to him in faith. Through his life, death, and resurrection, the Son of Man ascends to heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father, where he is given dominion, glory, and a kingdom that never ends.

We gather not to serve ourselves but to know the Lord and grow in Him. The whole reason for church is to see Jesus more clearly, because spiritual growth is measured by revelation. When Jesus called Himself the Son of Man, He was showing both His humanity in the incarnation and His divinity as revealed in the prophets. When He is called the Son of God, it speaks of His eternal nature—He did not become the Son, He has always been the Son.Scripture shows He is uncreated, uniquely begotten, and eternally one with the Father. We are sons by adoption, but Jesus is the eternal Son by nature. Every witness affirms this truth: Jesus is not just Savior—He is God.Listen to this edifying teaching on Jesus the Son of God and be blessed.

Today we are learning that Jesus is the Son of God, and he is full of love! Parents, want to keep talking? Here are some ideas:Ask: What did the disciples say to the kids? (Go away!) What did Jesus say? (Come to me) Who loves you? Sing the songs “Jesus loves me” and “Jesus loves the Little Children” many times this week. If you don't know the songs, you can find them online. (ages 2-5)A parent's blessing was an important part of Jewish culture throughout the Bible. Spend time this week speaking a blessing out loud over each of your children every day. You may want to use a blessing from Scripture to pray over your children. As you bless your child, place your hand on his or her head or shoulder. (ages 6-12)One last thing! This week April asked, “What is your favorite thing about being a KID?”. Simply record a voice memo and send it in a text to 636-280-5433. You may even be featured in an upcoming episode. *By sending in a voice memo, you're providing consent for your minor's voice to be on the podcast*Normal Goes A Long Way Website: https://www.normalgoesalongway.com/Normal Goes A Long Way Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/normalgoesalongway/Normal Goes A Long Way Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Normal-Goes-A-Long-Way-110089491250735Normal Goes A Long Way is brought to you by Messiah St. Charles: https://messiahstcharles.org/Normal Goes A Long Way is hosted on Zencastr. What if worship looked like readiness? Jesus enters Jerusalem as the promised King—not to seize power, but to purify hearts. He confronts hollow religion and calls us to authentic devotion. As citizens of His kingdom, we don't just celebrate—we stay alert. Disciples live in faithful anticipation, walking in step with the King who is coming again.⚫CONNECT WITH US:
Welcome to the Grace in Focus podcast. Today, Bob Wilkin and Leon Adkins are answering two questions. Should it be said about Old Testament saints and tribulation Saints that they are “In Christ”? Question #2: In what sense is Jesus is the Son of God? What makes Jesus the Son of God? Thanks for listening
