Hey, humans, we've arrived at the final and perhaps most powerful part of our "Why" series! We started with personal excavation, learned how to apply it to decisions, and now we're talking about the ripple effect. When leaders operate from their why, it changes everything. I'm going to show you exactly how one individual's clarity creates a collective wave, leading to aligned culture , higher engagement, and most importantly, giving permission for your team to bring their whole selves to work. I'll share stories from my own career, from seeing a highly successful leader realize his life was out of alignment to the quiet high-performer who finally discovered their passion for DE&I. I'll even pull back the curtain on how defining our collective why as "lifting lives" led to record-breaking success in a past organization. Purpose attracts purpose , and as we head into 2026, it's time to stop waiting for a crisis and choose to live your why today. This episode wraps up with your January Challenge to create a lasting impact in the New Year —from filtering decisions through your why to assessing alignment in your hiring process. It's time to put the drop in the ocean and watch it make a wave. Don't miss this final step in turning individual transformation into collective impact! Stacy More episodes at StacieBaird.com.

In this raw and deeply human episode, Dina pulls back the curtain on a year that didn't just challenge her - it remade her. The Year I Was Broken Open isn't a highlight reel. It's a reckoning. A truth-telling. A look at the kind of leadership growth that doesn't happen in conference rooms or coaching certifications, but in the messy, intimate corners of real life.Dina shares how this year cracked the foundation she'd been standing on and forced her into the deepest evolution of her leadership yet. From the quiet unraveling of an identity that no longer fit… to the grief she had avoided for years suddenly taking a seat at the edge of her bed… to the uncomfortable, liberating practice of audacity… to rebuilding presence and confidence one unglamorous moment at a time… and navigating rejection so constant it felt like an uninvited roommate — this episode is a masterclass in becoming. But it wasn't all breaking. There was building too.Dina opens up about the unexpected wins that emerged right alongside the chaos: delivering her first speaking engagement with The Leadhership Network, landing strategic planning and coaching contracts with partners aligned with her mission, sitting on NBC4 Washington for a live interview, watching her docuseries The Ripple Effect gain real momentum, finally beginning the book she's meant to write, launching her second IMAGINE Retreat in Tulum, and coaching women 1:1 through their own transformations. This episode unpacks the leadership lessons forged through every twist:why identity loss is often the first sign of expansionhow grief clarifies what (and who) is alignedwhy audacity becomes necessary when waiting to be chosen stops serving youhow presence shifts when you stop abandoning yourself mid-momentwhy confidence is built in the quiet, unsexy decisionsand how rejection - the uncomfortable, persistent kind - becomes the most faithful mentor of allIf you've felt undone this year… if you've been navigating transitions you didn't ask for… if you've found yourself shedding old identities, questioning your worth, confronting your truth, or rebuilding piece by piece - this episode will land in your chest. It's a reminder that leadership isn't who you are when things go right.Leadership is who you become when everything feels like it's falling apart - and you choose to rise anyway. This is the episode for the woman who knows she's changing, even if the world hasn't caught up yet.Tune in. Take what you need. Leave with more self-respect than you arrived with. And remember:You're not breaking down. You're breaking open.
Pastor Tony Bourque's message from the weekly Water's Edge Online Experience.
A single thing you do today can affect dozens of people, or even hundreds. This is the ripple effect, and it started with the Christmas story. In this message from our "Go Tell It" Advent series, discover how the shepherds' response to Jesus's birth created a ripple that continues today. Through the timeless parable of the Good Samaritan, we explore what Jesus really means when He calls us to love our neighbors—and why it's about being, not just knowing. In This Episode:The shepherds' unstoppable response to good newsWhy Jesus told the Good Samaritan storyThe difference between compassion and actionSimple acts that create powerful ripplesWhy we need a Savior to love perfectlyChrist's higher command: love as He lovedKey Scriptures: Luke 2:8-20, Luke 10:25-37, John 4:39, John 13:34Show Notes:The Christmas story has a ripple effect, starting with shepherds who couldn't keep the good news to themselves. After encountering Jesus, they spread the word throughout their neighborhoods. They didn't need a program or training—they just shared what they had seen and heard.Jesus teaches us through the Good Samaritan that being a neighbor isn't about proximity or knowing who lives next door. It's about who we are and how we engage with those we encounter. The Samaritan didn't just feel compassion—he acted, investing his time, money, and energy to help someone suffering. The ripple effect of Christmas occurs when the good news of great joy is proclaimed and when we're neighborly enough to engage with people around us instead of just driving by.Simple Ways to Create Ripples:Pay someone a complimentComfort someone having a rough dayVisit a sick friendCall someone you haven't spoken with in a whileExpress sincere gratitudeThe foundation of it all? If we could love perfectly, we would be perfect. Since we can't, we need a Savior. That's why the angel's message is such good news: "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you" (Luke 2:11).Loving your neighbor as yourself has been elevated to an even higher command: "As I have loved you, so must you love one another" (John 13:34).Next Steps:Identify one person you can be a neighbor to this weekPerform one simple act of kindness that creates a rippleShare the good news of Jesus with someone in your lifeConnect with Grand Point Church: Website: www.grandpoint.church Instagram: @grandpointchurch Facebook: /grandpointchurch YouTube: Grand Point ChurchConnect with us at www.grandpoint.church/nextstepsWatch online on YouTubeFollow us on Facebook and InstagramSign up for our free weekly newsletter
The GoGaddis Real Estate Radio Show with Cleveland (Cleve) Gaddis | Economic Trends & Policy Impact Presented by Modern Traditional Realty Group https://www.moderntraditionsrealty.com Are First Time Home Buyers Disappearing? What It Means for the Atlanta Real Estate Market Traditionally, the first time home buyer made up about 40% of the market; today, that number has plummeted to the low 20% range—one of the lowest levels in modern history. This isn't just a headline; it's a trend that affects the entire real estate ecosystem in the Atlanta Metro Area and beyond. In this 12-minute segment, we dive into why the "starter home" is becoming a rarity and what this shift means for the future of homeownership. What You Will Learn: The "Big Three" Pressures: We break down how the combination of higher interest rates, stabilized but elevated home prices, and the rising cost of living is squeezing new buyers out of the market. The Lock-In Effect: Discover why existing homeowners are staying put, keeping vital inventory off the market and making it harder for the next generation to find a place to start. A Shift in Lifestyle: Why delayed milestones like marriage and kids—combined with a decreasing stigma around long-term renting—are changing how and when people enter the market. The Ripple Effect on All Homeowners: Understand why a weakening "bottom" of the market eventually affects home values at every level above it. Strategies for Success: If you are a first time home buyer sitting on the sidelines, we discuss strategic tools like down-payment assistance and creative financing that can help you get back in the game. The insights shared on the show reflect the same guidance provided daily by Modern Traditional Realty Group. He is also the host of the Changemaker ED“U” podcast. Previously, he was Founder & CEO of Growth Public Schools, and a founding teacher and leader with Summit Public Schools where he launched several innovative schools. In addition he serves as a leadership and life coach. David has worked in education reform for over 25 years as a teacher, principal, executive, and board member. He lives in Sacramento, CA with his wife and his two children, and holds a BA from UC Berkeley and an MA from Stanford University.Takeaways: The traditional education system has remained largely unchanged, resembling a factory model that fails to meet the needs of modern learners. Microschools represent a transformative approach to education, empowering educators and communities to create personalized learning environments. The emergence of microschools arises from a growing desire for more intimate, love-based educational experiences that focus on social emotional learning. ChangeMaker Education aims to cultivate a network of microschools, emphasizing the importance of relationships and community involvement in fostering student success. In the face of societal shifts, such as the rise of the gig economy and the expansion of homeschooling, families are increasingly seeking alternative education options. There exists a significant demand for educational reform that prioritizes personalized learning and emotional development, particularly in light of ongoing advancements in technology and AI. About this episode: Join Carolin as she takes you behind the scenes of her personal journey inside The Manifestor Community - a story that began with one tiny, illogical urge in 2022. You'll hear how a small initiation unfolded into something far bigger than she ever could've imagined: becoming the Social Media Manager, expanding into backend support, and eventually stepping into a Department Head role. But this episode isn't just about her story within the Manifestor Community. It's about the power of the small initiations - the micro urges, tiny nudges, quick sparks - and how they create long-term ripple effects in ways we can't always foresee. We explore: How accumulated micro-initiations can shape purpose, opportunity, and identity. Why resistance often shows up right before we take action and the psychological “before the jump” moment where doubt, fear, and paralysis kicks in. This episode is equal parts storytelling, energy wisdom, and grounded encouragement. If you've ever doubted your urges, dismissed a tiny initiation, or felt frozen right before taking action… this one is for you. About Carolin: a 1/3 Emotional Manifestor and Virtual Assistant & Social Media Manager. She has been supporting TMC in the backend since 2023 and is the Department Head for Community Support since early 2025. IG: @carolin.rupp

In this Hot Seat Coaching episode of the Midlife Business Academy, Lori talks with Dr. Adriana Krywiat, former foot and ankle surgeon turned functional medicine and emotional root-cause specialist. Adriana shares how she moved from Western medicine into functional medicine, and then into deep emotional work that ties together health, money, and relationships. They explore the type of client Adriana works best with: driven, intuitive business people - often men and high-achieving women - who are outwardly successful but feel stuck, stressed, and under constant pressure. Lori helps her clarify who she does not work with as well, including those only seeking lab-driven hormone fixes without touching emotions. Together they discuss Adriana's four-step Ripple Effect Process: identifying hidden resistance, clearing it through a guided process, energetic "sweeping" work, and creating a personalized action plan. Lori then shows how this framework can drive all of Adriana's marketing, from social media content to simple, video-based lead magnets and stronger calls to action. If you're a midlife entrepreneur who feels like you are doing all the right things but still not seeing results - and your stress is leaking into your health and relationships - this conversation gives you both language and structure for what might really be going on under the surface. Key takeaways: Why health, money, relationships, and business are deeply connected at the emotional level The common symptoms of Adriana's ideal clients: stress, overwhelm, stomach issues, pressure to "hold everything up," and turning to alcohol or other coping mechanisms How to narrow an ideal client without excluding others who resonate with the message The four-step Ripple Effect Process and how it creates change across every area of life How to turn a transformation framework into social media content, calls to action, and a simple video-based lead magnet Why marketing to the symptoms of the problem helps prospects recognize themselves faster If you want coaching on your own messaging, marketing, or hot seat around your business, apply for a Hot Seat Coaching session with Lori at MyCoachLori.com

In this episode, I respond to Dovi's question about an older child whose session became dysregulated when his dad joined the playroom. I explain why parent presence fundamentally disrupts the CCPT process, breaks the therapeutic dyad, and immediately alters safety, consistency, and the child's ability to do meaningful work. Even when a child demands that a parent come in, that demand is almost never about the parent's actual presence — it's a power grab driven by internal dysregulation, and it requires a reflective response paired with a clear limit. I walk through how the child's behavior — making demands, using items without permission, disregarding boundaries, and eventually dumping water — all reflected a spiraling need for power and control once the playroom dynamic was fractured. I also highlight why maintaining strict adherence to the model is essential for preserving the therapeutic relationship, the environment, and the child's sense of safety. This episode reinforces that it's our responsibility to protect the integrity of CCPT, set limits with parents and children, and ensure that the playroom remains a sacred space where healing can actually take place. I know it is a bit of a strange title. But bear with me this is the last episode of Series 3 (Series 4 will start in February 2026) and we have a couple of loose ends to tie up and an amazing idea to share.Back in November 2024, I visited the Castlefield Viaduct in Manchester and the route of the proposed Camden Highline in London. Now regular listeners will know that I love high lines and I have walked the ones in Paris and New York. (For the latter check out episode 17)I promised in 2024 that we would revisit both the UK projects, one year on and in this episode we catch up with Kate Picker and Simon Pitkeathley. And treacle features quite a lot! Then there is the amazing idea of twinning your garden with a farmer in rural Africa thanks to the charity Ripple Effect. I worked with this charity under its former name 'Send a Cow' when I was the BBC Radio 4 Appeals Producer and I was thrilled to learn, thanks to Claire - the Garden Editor, that the charity has another brilliant idea.So enjoy this episode and perhaps any others you have missed during this series; they feature Napolean, Adam Frost and Poppy Okotcha, alongside a million daffodil bulbs, ancient seeds, enormous yucca plants and tiny snowdrops - there are lots to choose from.Ripple Effect https://rippleeffect.org/get-involved/giving/garden-twinningClaire - The Garden Editorhttps://www.gardeneditor.co.uk/aboutIndependent podcasts like Our Plant Stories depend on their listeners for help with the costs of making the podcast such as the hosting platform and the editing programme.Using the Buy Me A Coffee platform you can make a one off online donation of £5 and that money will go towards making more episodes. I called this OUR Plant Stories for a reason and that is that I love to hear from listeners wherever you are in the world! You can email me Sally@ourplantstories.com and tell me your plant story. Ron dives in after a whirlwind weekend where Marjorie Taylor Greene stunned Georgia politicos with her early resignation. What does this mean for GA-14, and who's actually ready for the chaos? Democratic candidate Shawn Harris joins to share that he and his campaign actually anticipated MTG's departure and how it might actually give him the opportunity to wrest a seat from the Republicans and give his constituents a taste of what he seeks to offer if he keeps the seat beyond November.David McLaughlin of the Kudzu Vine breaks down the reaction inside GA-14 and how MTG's split from Donald Trump is being interpreted locally. Ron also checks in with Jack Zibluk, who is running in SD-53, about how a potential run by Colton Moore for MTG's seat could affect the district and upcoming timelines.Tune in to catch the Ron Show weekdays from 4-6pm Eastern time on Georgia NOW! Jez Alborough is the author and illustrator of over 45 books for children. His Eddy and the Bear trilogy (which began with the much loved WHERE'S MY TEDDY in 1992) has sold nearly four and a half million copies and was made into a Bafta award-winning animated television special and series.DUCK IN THE TRUCK (1999) heralded the start of another bestselling series, this time featuring the irrepressible Duck and his three friends - Frog, Goat and Sheep. There are nine books in the Duck series (1.3 million copies sold) including DUCK'S KEY WHERE CAN IT BE? which won the Child magazine Best of the Year Award. In 2000 Jez created HUG - a powerful and touching book of only three words about a baby chimpanzee called Bobo who loses his Mum. HUG was raved about by Oprah Winfrey on her show when she chose it for her recommended reading list while Richard Curtis (the writer and director of Four Weddings and a Funeral) selected HUG as one of his ‘Best Books' calling it: ‘classic family drama which holds up well next to Jez's other masterpieces.' Bobo went on to star in three more classics; TALL (which along with HUG won the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Book Award), YES and PLAY. The series has sold around 2 million copies. Jez's other books include SOME DOGS DO (2004) and the NAT THE CAT series (2013).Takeaways: Smiling is a contagious act, capable of spreading joy across vast distances. The journey of creativity often begins with a single idea that evolves over time. The relationship between an author and a publisher is crucial for a book's success. Illustration and storytelling are intertwined, where images and text complement each other. Learning is a continuous process that requires both patience and resilience from the learner. Inspiration can strike unexpectedly, leading to the creation of impactful works of art. Ben Emons calls the current market environment "fragile." He points to the staggering selling activity in Bitcoin and crypto-tied stocks as an impact that will last for weeks to come. While he notes opportunity in the pullback, it serves as a falling knife investors may not want to catch right away. Ben also will be "cautious" if markets rally on a tentative December interest rate cut. ======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Options involve risks and are not suitable for all investors. Every entrepreneur has a moment where they look in the mirror and quietly wonder if they are fooling everyone around them. I have had that moment more times than I can count, and in this episode of The Ripple Effect Podcast, I sit down with someone who once admitted she felt the exact same way at the height of her confidence on stage. Her name is Natalie Bevacqua, and our conversation dives deep into the parts of the entrepreneurial journey most people never talk about. If you have ever struggled with imposter syndrome, felt the urge for a midlife reinvention, or wondered whether you could start over as an introverted entrepreneur, I want you to hear this. Natalie and I go all the way back to Austin in 2005. When I first met her, she walked into every room with a level of confidence and charisma that made people lean in. I assumed she had it all figured out. What I later learned is that behind that confidence lived a woman who was just as nervous, anxious, and uncertain as the rest of us. In this interview, we revisit that moment and unpack what it means to lead while still wrestling with doubt, how to stop caring so much about what other people think, and why the messy, unpolished parts of our stories are the most relatable and powerful. Natalie Bevacqua opens up about leaving Austin, moving to a brand new city in her 50s, and starting from scratch. Imagine being a woman entrepreneur, well-established and successful, suddenly landing in a place where you know no one except your husband. At a time when many people begin settling into routine, she chose to rebuild her community, her business, and her identity from the ground up. That kind of midlife reinvention takes courage most people never access, and she walks us through exactly what that journey taught her. As we talk, she shares how her entrepreneurial path has been shaped by overcoming self-doubt, trusting herself, and learning how to build authentic connections instead of forced networking. We explore how introverts can thrive in business, how personal growth changes in our 30s, 40s, and 50s, and why entrepreneurship remains one of the greatest gifts we have. With over 25 years as an entrepreneur in the health, wellness, and beauty industry, Natalie has dedicated her career to empowering women to prioritize their well-being while creating lives of purpose and meaning. As a breast cancer and melanoma survivor, she has learned firsthand the importance of nurturing both inner and outer health. Those seasons deepened her passion for helping women build confidence, resilience, and radiant health from the inside out. Natalie hosts wellness programs, her signature Wellness Wednesday texts, and Women's Circles, all designed to help women feel supported, strong, and seen. If you are seeking wellness guidance, community, or mentorship to rediscover your own glow, she would love to connect with you. If you feel stuck, uncertain, or disconnected from your purpose, I hope this interview reminds you that reinvention is possible at any age. You can start over in a new city. You can shift careers. You can take control of your future. You can grow even while scared. And a single conversation or small moment of courage can create a Ripple Effect that changes everything.
