MilSpouseFest, founded as MilitaryOneClick, in 2012 was developed when there was a great need for online resources, all in one spot. It has evolved into a content site with a thriving live event series and online community at a time when military spouses need resources at their fingertips and face to face connections in a digital world. MilSpouseFest is proud to offer online resources, modern military spouse content, and a witty take on life through a newsletter delivered to you in the comfort of your own home, no matter where the military has sent you. MilSpouseFest, along with their presenting sponsor USAA, is in its 5th year of offering in-person interactive events across the country and now virtually. MilSpouseFest is shaped, on a daily basis, by an all military spouse team. Collectively, this team has over 65 years of military spouse service, has made it through too many deployments to count, is raising 7 kids, has lived in 4 countries, and survived 20 moves with a handful of pets. Just like the community they serve, the MilSpouseFest Team is made up of military spouses getting through another PCS, another deployment, setting up another house, and building new friendships along the way. Through free face to face events and digital content, they are creating connections and building a global community that feels like a neighborhood. MilSpouseFest is dedicated to empowering military spouses and families by providing them with information, resources, and the community support they need in their daily lives. https://milspousefest.com/

Being a military spouse prepared Jen Pilcher to be an entrepreneur. Learning to adapt with relocating and long spouse deployments gave her the impetus to help other military spouses deal with the stresses of military life. Aggregating resources was natural for Jen, and she grabbed the domain name, reached out to potential sponsors, got nothing and went to Plan B - typical startup cycle. Eventually, with the help of Facebook, audiences started to show up and the necessary resources noticed. The company name has now changed to Milspousefest, but the mission rolls on and military spouses are so, so grateful.
