It is Apple Festival time again, and the Victory Grange is once more recruiting for volunteers to help with their fundraiser. Each year, the Grange makes apple butter to sell at the festival, with the proceeds going to such community projects like the homeless, the school's weekend food and backpack programs and 4-H projects. Volunteers will be needed on Friday, Sept. 9, Saturday, Sept. 10 and Monday, Sept. 19 at the Grange Hall on Pattonsville Road, then each day during the festival. ADOPTION Success Stories We celebrate Mother's Day by honoring parenting in its many forms.
