Reconciliation is a process. Christ is critical in the process! God saves completely by GRACE.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" 2 Corinthians 5v17

Jesus Christ demonstrated his love for humanity by sacrificially giving his life on the cross and resurrecting from the dead. Because of this incredible act of love, those who are in Christ have become new creations. All of our past mistakes, sins, and miscues have been covered by the blood of Jesus. Our past no longer has the last word and final say over our lives. We have been given a fresh start. We have been reconciled to God and we, in turn, can give hope to others by making an appeal for God’s forgiving love to them as well.

God has blessed us with an opportunity to be used of Him, like He used Christ in His humanity. Salvation is God the Father's work. A prophet represents God as He speaks to mankind. He also represents mankind as he speaks to God on their behalf. We need to bring the hand of God and mankind together. That is the ministry of reconciliation. He gave us the word of reconciliation ... THE BIBLE! We are called, capable, and commissioned to evangelize.
