Being "blessed" by God is not equivalent to getting your/our way; it is being assigned to a vocation of blessing others, whether we like it or not
Human beings, left to our own devices, can do stupid and cruel things. How - and why - does God work with that?

The kingdoms of the world could hardly be more different than the kingdom Jesus has in mind. His cannot be reduced to a Roman or Jewish or Christian kind of kingdom. Nor is it enough to say that God’s kingdom is opposite of ours; it has to be “more than”. More than a “place”, God’s Kingdom is an embodied reality. What does it look and sound like in this world? Have a look at Jesus! Listen to Him!
