The Lord is always at work around you, your field of evangelism. By nature, no one seeks after God, they run from Him. God pursues us. Salvation is God's work. God has give us His work! That should be a motive. He's entrusted that work to us. God's dealing with His children is always in love, even when he chasten us. He loves us with a perfect love. It's unconditional, it's unnatural, it's sacrificial, it's a perfect love. The same love that He had for His son and His son for Him. It's the essence of Christianity. He saved us so that we could express His love. Join us live Sundays and Wednesdays at cbclewiscounty.com This video and more are available for download, and you can subscribe to our podcast.

"I hope that we will run every decision, every attitude, every new ministry, every desire, and every hope, through the lens of whether or not it will express the glory of God." Most often we think of church in terms of what we get out of it. We regard the church as something built for us. The book of Ephesians teaches something different. It explains that the church should be built on, centered around, and exist for Jesus; it teaches that it is His. This is a sermon on church. Impacted? “But if I were you, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted." Job 5 v8-9

We exist for the praise of the glory of God’s grace in Christ Jesus. Everything we do as a church must bring glory to God in the name of Christ Jesus. We are an intergenerational church. We strive to make a seamless journey of faith from birth to old age. We are overtly trinitarian. We are always looking for the work of the Father through the Son by the power of the Holy Spirit. We value people. We present the ideal of God’s plan while embracing the reality of life.

Theology (the study of God) that does not lead to doxology (the worship of God) is bad theology. Peter shares about the mysterious blessing of being small and centering on a big God.

This is a two part service. He is able. He has enabled you. God is limited in resources, his ways and his agenda.
Why does the church exist? Are we aiming at the right thing?
God sets the pace in generosity. We did not invent generosity—God did. That is who He is. He is generous as Creator as He gave things for our enjoyment and He was ultimately generous in the sending of His son, Jesus, which represents gracious generosity which provides real hope.

GracePointe Church celebrates God's faithfulness over the past 15 years. Highlights include video testimonies, live testimonies, and a special closing presentation!
We have all been offended. And we have all offended others. Satan uses the power of offense to bind the body of Christ and keep us from experiencing the freedom and power God has placed in the church. Jesus on the other hand leads us to forgive others, just as He has forgiven us, to shut the door on the enemy and release the power of God in our lives. When you forgive you set the prisoner free, and that prisoner is you!
The message of Ephesians 3:20 challenges us to not only seek to understand the character of God more fully, but also to strive to live with greater trust and dependence on Him. Unlike the trust fall mishap in the YouTube video, we can fall safely into the arms of God and find rest there. Paul's words remind us that God is not compatible with our human, finite concepts of time or space. There are no measurements that can capture the Lord, no boundaries that can contain Him, nothing--death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation (Romans 8:38-39)--can limit His mercy or His love. Throughout Scripture, we are reminded that God's thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are not our ways. He is the one who spoke life into this earth, and He is the one who has placed eternity in our hearts. Our pasts and our futures are a but a moment in His hands. Our fears and hopes can steer both our anxieties and our imaginations, but we often forget the confines of our scope and live within the bounds of only what we can see. Our vision, however, is tainted by sin; our thoughts are weak and small. There are plans working in us and through us that we cannot even begin to predict or even to desire. We sometimes cannot even know what to ask for or how to ask for it, but the Lord is faithful to supply our needs in His time. The Lord works in the abundance of eternity, and it is a comfort to know what a mighty God we serve!
