Found this powerful and peaceful reminder from Mind Essentials (@Mind_Essentials) which shares this: “The greatest wealth you could ever have is having a healthy body, calm mind, and good people in your life.” I guess I'm still working on this formula. I am blessed with having so many wonderful and awesome people in my life. The calm mind I seem to have here and there, it's not permanent for sure, but I'm working on that every day. The healthy body part - that's the tough one for me as I'm living with different forms of pain every day. Some days are better than others and one thing for sure, this will be with me the rest of my life. I just need to keep finding ways to deal with it and not make it worse. My first thought for sure - I am a very blessed person for the life I have. I will keep that gratitude going every day along with the other things I want and need to do. Thanks for listening. Today's show is high energy with lots of thoughts and concepts that will grab your attention and your intention. My guest and I talk a lot about the power you have as a leader to transform your reality, and I want to be clear – it's tough out there right now, some of us are working in more challenging situations than others, and some of us have fewer opportunities than others. I say that to temper the sense that maybe today's discussion is a bit too optimistic. I don't think it is, but I recognize our context vary and those contexts matter. I will do a wrap up with some additional thoughts after the interview, so keep listening to the end. Let's go!Guest Bio:Please welcome a true pioneer in leadership development and emotional intelligence, Joe Pettit. Exciting Developments on the Horizon Visit Lauderdale has some exciting projects on the horizon, including the $1 billion expansion of the Broward County Convention Center and the new 801-room Omni Hotel, expected to open in September 2025. These new projects will significantly improve Fort Lauderdale's ability to host larger conventions and attract international attention. The renovation of Pier 66, a historical site and iconic building, is just one example of how Fort Lauderdale is preserving its heritage while integrating all the attractions that contemporary travelers are looking for. Stacy is looking forward to these future developments drawing in more visitors and improving the overall experience of the area. My hot take (that some may disagree with me on until you listen to this episode) is that the best relationships come to those who wait for them. We have been fed the belief that those who end up with their high school sweethearts are the lucky ones, while those who remain single in their thirties are unlucky in love- but what if this just isn't true? What if the greatest love stories happen later than we initially planned? In this episode I argue my case for why I believe that when people meet when they have already established their identity and have spent a significant time alone, they can have better romantic relationships. I also divulge the juicy details of how I met my fiancé and how our story is a great example of why a good relationship can come after two people have already got to know themselves, spent time focusing on their self-development and are ready to take the next steps. This episode is for you if you have ever doubted your journey and how long it is taking you to find love. Follow me on Instagram @turning30coach and let me know what you thought of this episode!
