Girl power takes over this week on MTMUG, and we had our friend Courtney Barriger over to watch Spice World (1997). This camp classic Hard Days Night take on the 90s girl group phenomenon "The Spice Girls" took us all back. Ginger, Scary, Baby, Sporty, and Posh. We love all of these empowered women, and their movie is an out of control good time. Name another film that has an alien encounter, a high octane speed boat chase, boot camp choreography, a fashion montage, and live child birth scene! And don't worry, we get into the famous double decker Spice Bus, that looks as spacious as the TARDIS from Dr. Who. Don't believe anyone who says this is bad, it's a blast filled with unexpectedly solid comedic performances. (Seriously, we didn't remember Victoria Beckham getting the most laughs here) You might have to dig through your old VHS collection to get ahold of this one. How is this camp masterpiece nowhere to found on streaming? Blah, Blah, Blah, Girl Power, You know wot I mean? Participantes: Sr. Jones Srta. Bullock Sr. Barba Sr. Mistério E-mails: Mande suas críticas, elogios, e sugestões para contatowiseguys@gmail.com, ou nos mande um oi no Instagram @two_wise_guys.
I really, really, really wanna zig-a-zig ahhhh (and a new episode!) Join the Broadway Babies as they fan-girl over this hilarious, kooky, British movie about a week-in-the-life of the Spice Girls. With all that said, Alex and Daisha have one question for you: Which Spice Girl are you? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter, and tune in until the end of the episode to find out which ones they are. A real thorough Vice story about the transformation of feminism in the '90s through the filter of the Spice Girls' "Girl Power" and its more radical origins. THEY DON'T JUST SING - the tagline on the Spice Girls movie debut, Spice World! James and John dedicate an entire episode to the acting skills of Baby, Scary, Ginger, Sporty and Posh. Quickly deciding that Victoria Beckham was the breakout star of the movie with her one-liners and iconic scene stealing acting, Posh Spice should've received and Oscar for this. In amongst the discussions of cameos and dance numbers, James reveals the crime he committed whilst working on Spice World - shocker. By far their longest episode yet because there are too many insanely good moments in the cult classic and they all need to be spoken about - the Spice Bus, the bomb, the dress-up montage, dancing boot camp, THE ALIENS?!?!?!! And all of this while good old Nicola is trying to have a baby. James and John will be forever grateful to Emma Bunton, Melanie C, Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Victoria Beckham for this cinematic masterpiece! Of course, they had to discuss the newly unveiled 'secret' between Geri and Mel B, who cares if they did the dirty? Let them. Their love child would certainly be John though.

The One Where I Got To Meet My Hero... Oh yes, for Femme Ep 4 I was joined on the Femme-bed by the mega magic MEL C!!! There are not enough heart emoji in the world to describe my love for this woman! Besides my days as a Sporty fangirl and the whereabouts of the Spice Bus, we talked wellness, meditation and kids, but mainly I just freaked out about the amazing wisdom of Mel... #sportyspiceforever xxx
