Karen Jean is travel blogger from Detroit. She grew up hearing the sounds of early 60's rock. "When the British Invasion happened, I at least knew of England and Liverpool." Rafael Junco has been taking Wing Chun seriously for the past several years. "Bruce Lee, made it famous but Wing Chun has been around for centuries." Simply Ballroom is owned and operated by a husband/wife duo; David and Kristen from St. Louis MO. They recently moved their business and themselves to Duluth in the height of the pandemic. Tiffany is an online at home, do it yourself fitness instructor. I had the opportunity to sit down and speak with her about her fitness journey, her goal to lift fellow women up and to be their best selves. Beth is the owner and innkeeper of the Merryweather Inn, located in Duluth MN. She is also a pilot. At a young age Beth had a love of large homes and history. Then in the mist of the Pandemic she bought and is slowly restoring what is now Merryweather Inn. The home itself was built during the railroad boom era in Duluth's history. Severio Mancieri is an Iowa born; Duluth based singer-songwriter. He started out at a young age on piano but soon graduated onto saxophone, guitar, and vocals. Ernest Howard is a Minneapolis based, musician, comedian, barber, and actor. Ernest got this start by entering the Minneapolis music scene, under Enosense. Bruce Fummey is a stand up comic and tour guide, located Scotland. Bruce started out as a school teacher; but then jumped ship into comedy. Durning the 2020 pandemic, Bruce's wife encouraged him to create videos using his tour guide business as the back drop. Since then his videos have become very prominent on YouTube. Lokish Lavish is a group project by Frank A and Smash, both South African musicians. Both have a love of jazz music and the improvisation it brings. Lokish Lavish try to incorporate that into their funk-beats and lyrics. Both Frank and Smash have come from musical households, with jazz surrounding them at an early age. Sadkin is the brain child of Max; a Minneapolis musician who now resides in Duluth MN. Max started playing piano at a young age and quickly graduated to other instruments: today he is a multi-instrumentalist. After some family loss, Max bought a boat and traveled; durning that time of deep soul searching, Max re-found his love of trance- electronic music. Bodhi Werner is back and his time he's in the depths of his novel North Port 1999. "A fictional reimagine of Duluth Minnesota" as Bodhi calls it, with a huge and horrific twist. Bodhi started writing this story several years ago as short film, but with some encouragement from his mother (Claire Cooley) he developed into a full book.
