Bet Alef Meditative Synagogue is an inclusive spiritual community practicing an evolving Judaism as a path to awakening. This is a very difficult Passover, as we pray for the return of the hostages and we endure antisemitism from all sides of the political spectrum. What can we do during this time? We show up for each other, open up conversations, stand with our kids, and challenge the binary narrative in our country. As Rabbi Hillel said, "If I am not for myself, who will be for me? And if I am only for myself, what am I? And if not now, when?"
