Our potential isn't based on who we are, it is solely based on who God is. Today we look at Moses's story. When God spoke to him from the burning bush to tell him it was time to see the people set free, God didn't tell Moses who he was or what he could do. God told Moses who He was and because of that Moses could do what he was called to do! The same is true of us. Hear more in today's episode!

So many times we determine our potential based on our circumstances. When things are going our way, we feel like we can do what God has called us to do but when things are not going our way, we fall into a slump. David is a man who found himself in circumstances that could have left him stuck, but his walk of integrity allowed him to live out his full potential rather than take things into his own hands. Laura Matera, a director with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), joins Laura and Debbie with a powerful testimony about how God strengthened her to hold onto the vision the Lord had given to her and her husband Joe. She shared about life's unexpected turn with the passing of her husband, leaving to raise three young girls...and how He enabled her to pick up the torch to continue to build a powerful ministry among surfers and skaters within FCA.

It seems we all have a lot of moving pieces in our lives these days. All the pieces had been in place, all your ducks were standing in a straight line…until they weren't. God is less concerned that your pieces have suddenly moved and more interested in helping you navigate those sudden changes. Join Deb and Laura as they share some recent examples in their own lives of having had to navigate sudden changes.

Influencers are people whose opinions compete for your attention. Influencers can be in your family, in your peer group and in culture itself. The choice you need to make is: will you value God's opinion of you more than the opinion of an influencer?

In a performance driven society, we can get tangled in the lie that our identity is found in the strengths that God has given us. Culture seeks to glorify what we do and how well we do it. What we find in this episode is that our strengths are tools that God gives us in order to live out our purpose, but never intended to define who we are.

Good or bad, we often allow our past to define who we are today. Christ has made us to live out our purpose in this moment we find ourselves in today, not tied to memories of yesterday. This episode shares the freedom we can experience by living who we are and what we are called to be totally free today.

The cry of every human heart is to know WHO they are and what their PURPOSE for living is. The only One who has the right to define you, to declare your purpose for living…is the One who created you.

Times in our lives where the heat gets turned up seem like they are purposed to bring us down, but what we find when our eyes are fixed on Jesus is that these times are actually purposed to bring on the power! What if we viewed our challenges as opportunities for God's power to be on display in our lives?
