Slow is a generous way of living. Ps Keith share the importance of slowing down to listen and understand the Kingdom of God. Love and hurry are incompatible, we can't love God in a hurry but instead, we should slow things down as every relationship takes time to develop.
Faith is powerful because it's the connection between God and men, a channel where God sends us His miracles. Pr Daniel spoke about the importance of faith and what we receive when we believe in God and fully rely on Him. Through faith, we receive the Holy Spirit that was given to us by His grace and mercy, thus adopting us to sonship and the reason we are able to call God our Abba Father.
We cannot pursue righteousness and yet live by the way of the flesh. We were chosen for a purpose, to be steered by the Holy Spirit and to bear His fruits.
The gift giver and receiver have a beautiful relationship. We sometimes ask God what he wants so that we may provide it to Him, but little do we know that God only desires an intimate relationship with us.
It is only when our dependence and faith in God grows and when we depend on His righteousness that we live a powerful life for Jesus Christ. Don't keep your faith in a secured location. Instead, live it out, depend and trust God in everything you do. Pr Daniel preached about the significance of serving in God's Kingdom by grace and not by law.
Often, we go to God to seek resources but not a relationship and complain whenever God doesn't reply to our prayers. God wants to engage in a relationship with us and that He fulfills our needs according to His timing. Let us seek God, give Him our full attention, and dwell in a relationship with Him. May He continue to use moments in our daily lives to speak to us!
In order for us to live with fulfillment in life, we need to have a community we can share our lives with. Pastor Daniel preached on the inevitable Loneliness Epidemic affecting all of us, now more than ever. He mentioned that this problem isn't something we can solve by ourselves. We all need someone, just as God intended when He gave Adam a companion.
The beauty of life shouldn't be defined by how well we live it but by our willingness to give full control to Him and fulfill His purpose for us. Pr Gin from Oasis JB to walk us through the true reason life is beautiful; because its Creator is Life itself, and He is beautiful. He reminded us that true joy and peace aren't achieved by having material things but by our close relationship with our Father in Heaven. He also reminded us that we shouldn't obsess over trying to create the perfect atmosphere to spread the gospel because we might lose sight of our purpose for teaching the Word - to glorify Him.
Passion will get you started, but it's the commitment that will keep you going. Everything in our life is based on relationships, be it with our parents, siblings, colleagues, and so on. That is why it is important to always look back towards the Bible, right where it all began.
True blessedness is not receiving success or hoping for something better, it's about walking with God and having His presence in our lives. Pr Daniel reminded us of the significance of acknowledging and being aware of God's presence in our lives as it changes our attitude and perspective to face every situation.
We don't just change the world by fulfilling our responsibilities, but by living out the vision that God has given to us. Pr Daniel imparted Part 2 of Vision Sunday, reminding us of our purpose to reach out and build a united community that is transformational together.
Because of Jesus, we're no longer strangers but fellow citizens in the House of God. During Vision Sunday, Pr Daniel imparted the vision for the church this year and why it is important to follow through. He reminded us that whatever we build should be able to endure the test for us to be rewarded.
Our position as children of God stays the same, even as our worldly condition changes. It is important to look at our fixed position as God's children and align how we respond to our condition according to the firm stand we have in Christ.
To be great is to be a servant. And to be a servant, it is the willingness to do "small things". Pastor Daniel started the year by establishing the 5 Principles for a blessed 2022. We were reminded to seek God first by walking by faith and making Him the centre of our lives.
True word of God will bring people together in obedience. The Religious Dilemma - reminding us so often we think we know better than God, but our illusion leads to our disillusionment because we don't see things from God's perspective.
'The Promise of Waiting,' from the narrative of Abraham and Sarah about three wonderful promises of waiting for God's children. May we be reminded while the world waits for situations to improve, our true and ultimate waiting is in God and the blessed hope of His Son, Jesus Christ, to return again.
Through the story of Abram, Isaac, and Joseph in their famines. We were reminded of their perseverance to trust in God's unchanging promise and His faithfulness to preserve them. May we continue looking to God in our challenges and proclaim His goodness all the days of our lives!
We don't enter into our destiny by avoiding mistakes. We only enter into our destiny by pursuing God and His will. Last Sunday, Pr. Daniel preached from the book of Nehemiah and encouraged us to imitate Nehemiah to be used by God for His will and purposes.
A reminder that we are a royal priesthood and a holy people in light of God's redemption plan. We are set apart not only from the world, but also set apart for the kingdom and His glory.
Having the fear of God means being humble before Him and submitting ourselves into obedience. Having this humility is the key to receiving God's wisdom. Let us humble ourselves with the fear of God and make the decision to fulfill God's will today!
As Christians, we have to be faithful so we can be fruitful for Jesus. Pr. Daniel shared from Luke 16 about the key to being a good steward, which is faithfulness. Let us focus on growing our talents faithfully so we can use them to serve people and glorify God!
As Christians, we need to go through a spiritual transformation so we can be more Christlike. Pr. Daniel reminded of our primary goal as Christians to have Christ formed in us. As we set Christlikeness as our goal, may we find that union with our God to know Him intimately and knowing who we are in Christ.
Having too much familiarity will kill our wonder. When we become comfortable with our environment, we settle in; and that's when we lose our initial wonder of pursuing a relationship with God and abiding by His Word.
What is the posture we as God's people are to carry in seeking Him? Learn about the importance of seeking God in humility, submission, and purity.
What our life in the Spirit is like and how we should live, now that we've been saved by Jesus?
Let us pursue Jesus wholeheartedly during this challenging season. As we love our Lord, let's remember to also extend His love to our family and community.
Pr. Daniel preaching on fulfilling the law of Christ by loving our neighbour as ourselves and bearing one another's burdens. We were reminded as Christians to put others before ourselves as we walk by the Spirit and in the freedom we have in Christ.
We have been adopted as sons of God through our faith in Christ. Let us hold on to the core of our faith that is to be primarily defined by our identity in Christ, and not merely by our human effort.
Pr. Daniel preached on 'Being A Man After God's Heart' and showed us God's redemption plan for us into His family as children of God. Similarly, we were reminded about the mandate to raise a godly family in this world as new creations in Christ.
As Christians, are we defined by our being or our doing? Let us see the truth that being God's children isn't just about what we can do for His kingdom, but it's primarily about who we are in Christ.
Pr. Daniel walked us through the first two chapters of Galatians in his sermon entitled ‘Staying In The Gospel.' We are reminded to recognize the centrality of Jesus in the gospel that we hold on to in our Christian faith.
Learn how God is a consuming fire, living within us; fueling us up to be a living sacrifice as a personification of His mercy.
Possessing a reverent fear of God to overcome the negative fears we experience daily.
How can we respond to the situations around us in a Christ-worthy way? Isaac Ooi preached on ‘Called to be Bold' – challenging us to step out to spread the gospel in boldness and bring the hope of Christ to those around us, especially in these challenging times.

Small things that make a big difference
Transformation without sanctification is merely motivation. As much as we desire transformation, the purpose of transformation isn’t fundamentally for a better self or life, but it’s for the glory of God. In this short highlight by Wilson’s sermon, ‘The Road of Sanctification’, find out why we as Christians need sanctification to experience true transformation.
