Río and Athena begin to mend fences between them. Athena checks in with Tosh, who learns some unfortunate news about Ara from Dasco. The group descends into the Tenebris forest.
The D'Artagnans, Dasco, and Benedict choose flight over being taken into custody of the crown, leaving on the airship rather than facing bogus charges. Tensions run high as the group debates their next move. With no clear destination and fraying trust, the D'Artagnans struggle to find their footing. A heart-to-heart helps.
The D'artagnans sneak into the palace prison to have a (forbidden) conversation with Felix. Athena and Tosh get answers to their questions. Río introduces Diego to his mother. A royal messenger bears some unwelcome news.

Río has a new look to hide the blight. Tosh begrudgingly greets Dasco upon his arrival. Tosh speaks with Dasco at length and finds more common ground than he thought; Athena remains wary of his zealous intentions. Both agree they must speak to Felix, with or without Dasco's permission. Diego makes an appalling request of Río, who begrudgingly complies with Quila's assistance. The D'artagnans talk about what to do next.
The D'Artagnans are back together, but it's not exactly smooth sailing. Athena steps back into a leadership role after training with Lancelot, but the group's new dynamic is cearly strained. Diego is holding something back, and Quila is trying to help him face it. Tosh gets troubling news from Benedict that leaves him reeling. Río fights to stop the blight from spreading, but the effort is wearing on her. The group is trying to find their footing, but things are more complicated than ever.
Most of the D'artagnans are reunited and working together to bring down the reanimated, undead white dragon before it terrorizes the city a second time. Tosh and Athena are afraid of Ríona. Help at the 11th hour comes in an unexpected way. Río invokes the name of the dragon devil.
Tosh seeks to secure sanctuary for his people, entrusting them to Cimeon before leaving to Glacium. Athena fights against her instinct to protect Lancelot and doesn't allow his sacrifice to be in vain. Diego has a vision and hears a knock on the door. Río escapes "quarantine" to take matters of the dragon blight into her own hands, but some unexpected and violent newcomers put a stop to that.
Time is running out for all four D'artagnans. Río has to deal with fallout from the dragon blight at the most inopportune time. Tosh tries to gain a foothold as Mal Magnotos' leader but an unexpected coup throws everything off. Athena continues her training with Lancelot and learns more than she bargained for about what happened to her real family. Diego manages to communicate a single word.
With the help of his friends, Diego embarks on the last leg of his journey where heavy and unintended consequences are laid bare.
The group braves the Steam Shores next. Kava has a distinct memory of Morbash. Dax provokes a hydra and combat ensues. Diego evokes the memory of a friend to share inspiration.
The group comes up with a plan for navigating the Phanto Riff, and then play a friendly game of poker. Diego challenges Kava to a fishing competition with Destiny on the line. Diego fesses up to what the real purpose of their mission is. Kava has a ghostly encounter in the Doldrums.
Diego and his companions fight off a group of ruffians in order to abscond with a ship. Dax takes one for the team. Kava has a date with destiny. Diego guides everyone to the Fanto Rift.
Diego reconnects with his past in the Dopplar's and recruits some shady characters to help him steal a ship.
Tosh rallies the people of Mal Magnotos to his side, but Ara has some strong words for him. Athena learns more about the scabbard and Lancelot tries to teach her not to rely on it. Diego converses with a now-conscious Lucius and checks in with Gregori.
Tosh confronts Rober and is challenged to a duel. Gregori reveals Diego's lineage. Through Lancelot, Athena receives a vision of Galahad. Felix introduces Ríona to a prisoner who has quite a story to tell. Tosh experiences many flashbacks in connection to Cruentus, and ultimately must make a significant choice.
Tosh sets out to return Sif's body to Mal Magnotos and appeal to Rober personally. Río arrives in Glacium and speaks with Burthoar. Diego learns more of what the Honest Men have been up to, and what their next move might be. Athena is tutored by Lancelot and learns more about Cruentus and what happend in Camelot. Río meets with Felix for a somber and melancholic conversation, but also learns about what happened to him in the other realm.
The D'artagnans are being pulled in different directions and the group decides it is best to split up. Tosh makes plans to return Sif's body to Mal Magnotos, Río makes arrangements to get to Glacium, and Diego agrees to oversee Lucius for a time. Athena meets up with a legendary mentor who provides a troubled backstory of her father. Tosh is confronted by something in the wilderness. Alone with Gregori, Diego plots with him to take down Tiernay.
Diego, Tosh, Apollo and Río unknowingly infiltrate an Honest Men location in an attempt to save Lucius. Tosh and Apollo investigate and make a grim discovery. At the hospital, the remaining D'artagnans receive devastating news.
A contentious Tosh does not make a great first impression on Prince Apollo. Río tries to smooth things over and also make sense of her masked stranger's true identity. Diego teaches Tosh a valuable lesson...with his fists. Sif is captured and questioned by the real Telloh. Tosh is humbled. Río enlists Apollo's help in tracking down her brother.
Sif attempts to evade Aurelia. Tosh and Prince Charming square off with words before coming to blows. Río and Diego attempt to meet up with their friend. Tosh defends Sif and multiple revelations come to light.
Tosh and Diego abscond from the masquerade to avoid being implicated in Otto's murder. Río stays and continues her flirtatious encounter with Prince Charming. Diego and Tosh attempt to find Sif, but Tosh is torn because he wants to see Seraphine. Prince Charming is called away but neither he nor Río wanted to say goodbye. Sif finds Tosh and the two get into a heated argument. Prince Charming and Aurelia catch up with Diego and Tosh in pursuit of Sif, and the hunt continues.
Río can barely contain her excitement; she and Sif run a few errands and stop by Atticus' home. Tosh keeps a weather eye out for Seraphine. Diego puts the finishing touches on his mask and sends a letter to Athena. Dressed to the nines, masks and all, the group attends the Lux Masquerade, where mysteries abound. Diego gets familiar with an on-edge Recent, Tosh finally makes contact with Otto, and Río plays cat-and-mouse with Telloh. Despite Otto's ostentatious and impudent behavior, Tosh persists in securing a private meeting with him for Sif. An incomprehensible musical number upsets Ríona. Sif and Otto have an intimate meeting with explosive results.
The group has a lowkey discussion about Ríona's options, and she opts to search for answers at the library. Diego looks for clues at Lucius' last known location. Sif and Tosh bond over Mal Magnotos. Río helps with everyone's masks and pays tribute to an old friend. The group puts their box seats to good use and attends the theater.
Tosh is able to converse with the half-elf but he isn't very forthcoming. Sif invisibly trails the duo back to the palace. Río attempts to heal the burns on Diego's arm, but makes a disquieting discovery. Invoking the dragon name for the first time, Río takes the blight into herself to spare Diego with horrific implications for her. Río still doesn't trust Gregori, but that doesn't stop Diego from picking his brain for answers.
Diego trades information for information and learns some disconcerting news about Río's brother, Lucius. All roads lead back to Telloh and Río learns that he will be in attendance at the masquerade. Sif teaches Tosh more about the Mal Magnotos. The group meets up with others for a mysterious, clandestine event having something to do with dragons. A ritual is started, and Diego acts quickly. Shadowy figures in the distance may have answers Río needs.
Río shows the group around town, and everyone tries their hand at chalk art in the bohemian district. A mysterious woman takes an interest in Río's handiwork and invites her to a dragon rendezvous at a later time. Thalia makes another appearance, this time as a dance instructor at The Dancing Flames, where she teaches the latest routine to Río and the rest of the group. Tosh and Sif exchange more words about the future of Mal Magnotos. Diego and Río discuss their courtships and Diego gives Río some pointed advice.
Río and Sif take note of an intriguing arrival in town. Tosh and Diego engage in retail therapy. The group attends a bathhouse. Sif and Tosh connect over Mal Magnetos.
Sif makes a tough call that Diego disagrees with. The group encounters a traveler who shares insights on the road to Lux. Río gets more and more excited as they finally reach her favorite city. The girls go dress shopping for the masquerade and bump into a famous playwright.

Host Calabard the Bard and his guests discuss the latest issue of “Falnix Fables,” live from the Purple Turtle Tavern! (Two drink minimum) Featured guests/veteran adventurers: Kimmantha the Barbarian, Divine the Cleric, Hexis the Warlock, and Camel the Druid. *Falnix Fables is a work of fiction set in an Alternate Dimension. Any similarities between the characters within and actual individuals should be considered coincidence. However, if you or a loved one have somehow traveled to or from that story/dimension via ancient curse, Wild Magic surge, angering Hexis the Warlock, etc., then we would like to hear from you!
Unfortunately, this session did not record correctly so here is a recap! The group acclimates to Sif as they get acquainted with each other. Sif discovers tell-tale signs of shrikes in the forest. Diego talks combat-strategy and masks with Sif. Río tells the group about the Lux masquerade and thinks the D'artagnans need another leader going forward. She holds Tosh's feet to the fire regarding the Mal Magnotos situation and his tendency to fly solo whenever the elves are involved. Sif and Tosh discuss the future of Mal Magnotos, including plans to acquire mercenaries from Otto (who we learn has been allowed entry into Mal Magnotos before and therefore may have a soft spot for helping them). We also learn that Otto is a reclusive older man in Lux who will almost certainly be in attendance at the masquerade. Thorns are encroaching on the road to Lux and the group encounters two shrikes, who have ensnared someone and are using them as bait. Combat ensues.
Tensions are at an all-time high as the D'artagnans, still reeling from the news of Korey's murder, come to terms with Athena's departure. Río is taking that news the hardest, and she corresponds with Egnil. Tosh is hell-bent on speaking to Rober alone so he travels swiftly to Mal Magnotos but that excursion does not go well. Diego ensures things are settled in Half-Home before he, Río, and Tosh reunite on the road to Lux. An unexpected visitor joins the group.
Combat continues. Athena deals with the heavy emotional aftermath and reunites all of the Brookstones. Pan flees. Río and Tosh acquire rooms at the Red Fawn and Diego checks in with the Sheriff. A deadly plot is uncovered that puts Tosh on edge. Río goes to the Brookstone's to collect Athena.
Athena is very clearly going through something as metaphysical manifestations of her many oaths are brought to bear. Tosh takes on Lysander and pays for it. Río assists Pan and holds a freaky cultist at bay. Diego provides explosive support from a distance. Athena sees a vision.
Athena must confront her oath head-on at the height of a full moon. Diego, Tosh, and Río back her up.
Diego pitches a plan to Athena. Tosh and Río distract Lysander. Athena speaks to Lucas. All of the D'artagnans find themselves inside Occulus to prove their worthiness, but only one succeeds.
Athena's family is in immediate peril but the D'artagnans are quick to intervene. Diego takes a shot. Athena and Lysander converse. Gregori reaches out to Diego. Athena's moon mark burns.
Río creates a distraction that allows Athena to convene with her family. Lysander approaches Tosh once again. Juliette turns herself in in an effort to protect her family. Athena is devastated by a family secret. The D'artagnans rally around Athena.
Diego discusses Half Home's protections with Cory. Tosh and Río leave the Flock and return to Half Home with a letter to Athena when they run into a hysterical Juliette. Athena takes most of her family out for a picnic and a game of hide and seek doesn't go as planned. The letter fell into unintended hands and town-wide panic begins to set in.
Athena and Diego meet up at the Red Fawn Tavern. Athena gets her house in order when she reunites with her father and one of her brothers. Diego purchases books. Río and Tosh spend the night with the flock and Tosh recalls his conversation with Lysander. Tosh throws Ríona under the bus and is given an important task.
The D'artagnans split up in hopes of infiltrating 'the flock'. Diego gets a request from a stranger. Río receives help. Athena makes a decision. Tosh loses control.
Diego shares his revelation about Mordred withe group and Athena accompanies him back into Occulus for more answers. Tosh grills Río about Telloh. Athena is annoyed at Diego's naïveté, but Río sees through it and tries to get to the heart of the problem. The boys set out for the Questing Beast on their own and end up getting more than they bargained for. An old friend makes an appearance.
The D'artagnans go shopping before departing Falnix. Diego and Athena reenter Occulus. Tosh connects with Cruentus. Ríona connects with her artistic side. Diego resists fear and makes a compelling discovery.
Some of the D'artagnans wish to make a good impression at their meeting with the king. Gregori speaks up. The meeting does not go as planned. Tokens are called into question. The D'artagnans swear an oath to the king. Tosh discusses the important of peace with Mal Magnotos.
Athena, Diego, and Tosh wrap up at what's left of the Singing Goat. Río and Bobbin discuss the future of the Dopplers and the nature of the midnight delivery. In no shape to journey on, the D'artagnans agree to spend one more night in Falnix before speaking with the King. Athena channels Excalibur and sees a vision. Diego and Tosh each have dreams about their respective tokens, but Río's mind is elsewhere.
The fight ensues, and in the heat of battle Diego discovers the true form of Occulus.
Athena receives distressing news about Half Home. The D'artagnans once again meet with Bobbin. A sudden fight ensues at the Singing Goat.
The D'artagnans go through the proper channels to procure an audience with the king. Athena checks in on Peter. Tosh and Diego put on a good show. Río can't focus and recalls more puzzling details about her tryst in Lux. The group goes through with their end of the bargain for Bobbin.
The D'artagnans shop for curios before heading to the Singing Goat to procure a meeting with Bobbin. Bobbin has a proposition for Tosh regarding the electrum that may or may not be in Mal Magnotos' best interest. The group intends to meet with the king.
Tosh has a lot to say to Helto regarding the electrum trade, but Athena is less forthcoming. The D'artagnans discuss ways of preventing the warforged army from reaching its destination, and decide to meet with Bobbin.
The D'artagnans make it safely to Falnix and settle in to The Bedside Manor. Tosh receives a message and goes to meet who he hopes is his father at a local tavern. Río writes to Egnil. Tosh gets more than he bargained for when he follows "Seraphine" into a teashop. Diego intervenes.
