Was de State of Play nu goed of slecht? Meer liefst 20 titels passeerden de revue: Marvel’s Wolverine, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Rayman Legends Retold, Bancho the Chef, Kemuri, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, The Lost Wild, Phantom Blade Zero, Dune: Awakening, Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, No Rest for the Wicked, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Silent Hill: Townfall, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, Stuntman: Hollywood, Ill, Control Resonant, Marathon, Until Dawn 2, God of War Laufey. Safety Awareness: Behavior over stereotypes On this episode of The Secure Family Podcast host Andy Murphy argues that family safety comes from calm awareness, not fear. Andy discusses criminogenic thinking (minimizing harm, entitlement, blaming others), how different crimes reflect different skills and motives, and the role of family influence in normalizing illegitimate problem-solving. He recommends watching behavior like pressure, manipulation, urgency, boundary violations, inconsistent stories, and ignoring "no" over stereotypes, and emphasizes protecting family by seeing intent and patterns clearly. Pastor Scott Lamb opens the West Las Vegas Conference with a powerful Monday night message on prayer, persistence, and the supernatural work of God.From Isaiah 62:6, he challenges believers to stop treating prayer like a quick transaction and start embracing it as relentless spiritual labor. Jesus taught us to ask, seek, knock, and keep knocking. The delay does not mean God is ignoring you. It means prayer is doing something deeper than you can see. This message is a direct call back to fervent prayer, morning prayer, and faith that refuses to quit.OFFERING00:00 Unity in Giving and Support05:00 The Importance of Conferences and EvangelismMESSAGE08:29 The Power of Prayer17:56 Understanding the Nature of Prayer36:16 God's Command on Prayer and Spiritual Understanding39:08 The Realities of Prayer45:03 The Purpose of Prayer in God's Plan49:39 The Nature of Effective Prayer58:04 The Role of Watchmen in Prayer01:04:36 The Relentless Nature of Prayer01:12:04 The Call to Action in PrayerShow NotesALL PROCEEDS GO TO WORLD EVANGELISMLocate a CFM Church near you: https://cfmmap.orgWe need five-star reviews! North Carolina-based artist Rodney Bennett joins the show to talk Legend of the Black Starr, his self-published indie superhero series set in 1938 and published through his own Vision Alive Studios. The guys dig into the book's first story, "No Rest for the Weary," a pulp-flavored blend of horror, sci-fi, and superhero action that follows a young vigilante called the Black Starr as he infiltrates a mortuary to rescue an abducted girl — only to stumble onto zombie attacks, weird science, and a full-blown government cover-up. Rodney talks about his background as a Studio Art graduate from North Carolina Central University and career as an art educator, and how decades of teaching painting, drawing, and sculpture to youth eventually led him back to his childhood love of comics and character creation. The conversation covers the rich cast of characters he's built out — from the morally ambiguous Golden Crusader to the villainous Wallace Tweed — and what it looks and feels like to world-build an entire superhero universe entirely on your own terms. You can follow Rodney and Black Starr on his site legendoftheblackstarr.com or on Instagram @legend_of_the_black_starr. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
