Conner McDavid said he feels this could be a series where each team is skating up and down the rink. VGK got Shea Weber's off the books and traded for defenseman Dysin Mayo, an AHL player. The Golden Knights also will give u a fifth round draft pick this year. VGK is able to take on another long-term contract in the process. The Golden Knights play at home tonight as they entertain the Calgary Flames at T-Mobile. Calgary rallied from 2 goal deficit in Arizona Wednesday night to pull out a 6-3 win over one of the hottest teams in the league (points in nine straight games before last night.) Dasco is still complaining that the Golden Knights have one of the easier schedules in the league, the way it shakes out. The Golden Knights will play yet another team Thursday coming into Las Vegas on the tail end of a back to back. The Golden Knights fell apart late in Thursday's game against Florida and gave up two empty net goals in a 4-1 loss to the Panthers. VGK still is having difficulties beating the top teams in the NHL. Dasco still can't get over Chandler Stephenson's all-star snub. He's the leading scorer for the Golden Knights and has missed just one game. Stephenson has played more than a dozen games without his top linemates Stone and Pacioretty. The Golden Knights didn't even nominate Stephenson for Last Man In - that went to Jonathan Marchessault.
