Ever had questions regarding identity? What was your purpose? Hopefully, this episode will get you thinking and praying. My prayer, is that this episode moves you out of fear and into seeking what your purpose is on this earth. 

I. AM. Back. Mistakes and all LOL. No but it took a lot to get back to recording new episodes. It has mistakes, you can hear my chair squeaking LOL, but it was necessary to just submit. Next week we'll be better. (Maybe LOL) Take a listen and I hope it blesses you. I am relearning how to live a God Lead life and it starts with one simple word. Faith! 

Alright! I confess! I can be a tad bit of a worry wart. Yes, it's bad but with God's help I am getting better. Today, God revealed to me that somethings I choose to worry about, and I don't even have a reason (that's valid) to worry about. Then, when issues do arrive, I go haywire because I have made a habit out of worrying. Listen, you can be great, have all the money in the world, have great health, and worry will still make you believe you're going to die tomorrow.  Today, listen in on how we defeat worry in our lives! I think this one is a game changer!

So, I am easily amazed. My recent discovery, yes I am a 60 year old in a 32 year old body, are filters. Here's what's cool about them to me. They can alter the imperfections of the face to make them more pure. Well, the same way we use filters on our face is the same way we should use a filter on our words. A filter can remove the impurities of the words we speak so that we don't hurt others in our recklessness. Key point? Watch your mouth! Take a listen and let me know what you think! 

I never understood the damage of not forgiving. God revealed this to me in such a powerful way that I had to share. Vulnerable? Yup! Scared to Share? Yup! But I believe that God wants someone to hear this, to help them learn what they are missing out on. WE. ARE. BACK! More content coming your way! 

My High School wrestling coach used to always say  that common sense isn't common to some people. While that is true, when it comes to God, we have to be careful to not use what society deems as common or normal. God doesn't operate in the realm of normality. What's normal for God is that He always wins, and He's never been defeated. Take a listen to it doesn't make sense! It's a life changer. 

Sometimes, we suck and handling relationships or connections with people who are different than us. We instantly destroy valuable relationships because some people are just different.  Let's learn together, how to handle people who are different than us. The answer is actually pretty simple. 

We are in Week 4 of our Right Connection series. Today, we talk about how sometimes we make decisions based off what's tangible and not necessarily spiritual. These connections may benefit us financially, but damage us mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. We are in Part 2 of our Right Connection series, in which I simply ask Do They Make You Better? In our relationship with Christ, He makes us better through the cleansing with His words. Likewise, in our relationships with each other. We should be making each other better. Does everyone around you agree with everything you say? Does anyone ever challenge you to be better in your relationships, business, or even profession? If your answer is no, you're probably not in the right connection. Take a listen and share!!!! 

So many times we connect to the wrong thing. Thus producing fruit that doesn't represent the essence of who we are. Whatever you connect to, will produce evidence in relationships and even your character. Let's chat! 

Give yourself credit! You're better than you were. You're not the same, and give God glory for the new place you are in. No you're not perfect and that doesn't matter. What matters is that when you encounter Jesus, you automatically became better. Celebrate it, even if others don't. 

If we could control our thoughts, we could control our actions. However, some of our thoughts are caused by how we view God. Take a listen to It's In Your Head! I promise this is the best episode God has given me.  

Throughout your life, the devil has attempted to sow seeds in your mind, to inflict thoughts that are not supposed to be there. Random, evil, insecure thoughts that lead into actions. Thoughts that you aren't good enough, you aren't smart enough, sense of hopelessness and depression. These thoughts are not from God, they are opposite of God. Its due to mind damage, but God wants to renew your mind! Tune in as we discuss mind damage, and how we start the renewing process. 

I love what God is doing! People are being restored, and coming back to Christ! People are being revived and restored. God wants to restore you, and make you new. He's going to do it, and it won't matter what other's think! Be Restored! 

Sometimes you're looking to low. That's why life seems impossible, because you can't see that God has more for you. If you can keep your eyes at the right level, you'll see there is nothing impossible for you. That there is nothing God can't do. Look Up!

As a Dad, I know that sometimes you just don't get the credit you deserve. I know that you aren't a great dad for the applauds, but it sure would be nice every now and then. If no one else says it, you matter. You're not a dog, you're not some monster, you are a vital intricate piece in your child's life. You matter! Dads Matter!  

I know we often focus on ourselves when it comes to patience. We often think that we are the ones that always has to show patience. "Wait on the Lord", is often our most quoted motto. However, there are times, where God exercises patience with us. Matter of fact, if we're honest, alllllllllll the time. LOL Take a listen to this week's new episode, When God Waits! 

It's funny how in life we can all see the same image but view that image differently. Even more, how some can see obstacles as momentary set backs for God to get glory, or some see obstacles as the means to stop pursuing your goals or dreams. Here's a little hint: If God has a plan for your life, Satan is going to try and stop that plan. You have to learn to change what you see. We can't view the obstacles as unmovable. We must continue to pursue after our God designed destiny. Change what you see! 

Some people have some real nerve. I mean some people have the audacity (nice plug of the podcast episode LOL) to really want grace for themselves but not for others. How selfish can you be, to accept forgiveness but not give it! 

Failure is just apart of life. Sometimes you make some terrible mistakes. However, it doesn't mean you abandon the ship. It means you learn from it, get better, and be better. It's time for some of us to Get Back In. You've let your past mistakes make you feel like you'll never be anything. That's just not true! You're still important to God! God still wants to use you! Get Back In!

Sooooooo, here's the thing. I am very much so aware I am late to the party. I recorded this episode weeks ago and never posted it. Reason? I sound a little irritated in this one. Why? Sometimes my bros and sis in the Lord can decide when to pick up their spiritual hats, and when to put them down. And. I. Don't. Like it!!! We always assume, or hope, that everything we pray for God says yes. I guess its not even a forethought of what would happen if God told us no. However, what if God's no, was better than His yes? Let's talk about it in this weeks episode entitled "When God Says No". 

Discernment is critical for a child of God. Not only Christians but really all of us need to be able to discern. Discernment is critical because it allows us to make good decisions. We all strive to have the most peaceful life possible. No one wants chaos, worry, strife, and confusion. All of these are contrary to peace. God teaches us how to have peace and in this episode we will talk about two steps to obtaining Great Peace. 

After working out today, and the horrific feeling that my lower body is enduring, I think I finally get it. If I want to be great, I have to learn how to endure pain. I have to learn, that no one has ever been great and avoided  pain. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ endured pain! The only way up is through. Get through the pain and be great!!! It won't always be like this, but let's get through it together. 

Everyone needs a safe place in their lives. A place that's nonjudgmental, freedom to express themselves, and the ability to confess. Unfortunately, this is a place we all need but not willing to provide. Creating safe places is a responsibility for all of us. Come join me as we talk about creating The Safe Places we need. 

There isn't a soul alive that hasn't made a mistake. No need to wallow in it. Get up and Recover!!! Your mistakes are not your end. God has more for you!!!!! 

I believe accountability, in general, is hard to face. It's easier to blame the other person than to look in the mirror and face your own actions. Its hard, but necessary if growth is going to take place. We cannot be what we should be if every situation of life we point the finger at someone else, or sometimes God. It isn't always God's fault, BUT, it doesn't mean He won't deliver. The great thing about God, is that He specializes in getting us out of things we put ourselves in. Let's talk about it!

The amazing, powerful, and anointed Evangelist H.E.R. once had a song called Focus. (LOL) In said song, she asked a question "Can you focus on me?" In a lot of ways, Jesus is asking the same question. I truly believe that God is calling us to place our attention back on Him, instead of everything around us. We become so distracted with life, that sometimes we forget what's most important. This can cause breakdowns in relationships, family, and most importantly, our relationship with God. 

All of us have had or experienced a stronghold in their lives. If you haven't, maybe you know someone who has. Regardless, you need someone to Debo or overtake the effects of that stronghold. Take a listen to this week's episode entitled You Need a Debo! R.I.P. Tommy "Debo" Lister!!! 

Real love should produce actions. Just telling someone you love them means nothing if you're not putting in actions behind your speech. Jesus being our ultimate example showed us real love. Not just by words, but by deed. If we love our spouses, friends, family, or even God and don't put any actions behind it, our words mean nothing. Let's change the way we love! Over the past couple of weeks, love has been a topic that has come up frequently. Whether in prayer, bible classes, or even social media posts. Love is always something desired, however often misconstrued. In today's episode, we talk about how our feelings get in the way of truly loving people like we should.  

During the holidays it can be difficult for those who have lost loved ones or for those that may spend the holidays by themselves. This can cause for some deep depression. So much so, that suicide may cross one's mind. I want to encourage anyone who may be dealing with depression or deep sadness, to Do Themselves No Harm!!!!! In hard times, bad storms, the trials of life, and every other churchy phrase we can come up with to describe when bad things happen to us, the question really becomes simple. Do you trust God? Its easy to say yes, but the action is hard to do. Let's talk about it in our 20th episode. Do You Really Trust God?!!!

I think sometimes we can struggle between self-love and selfishness. There's a thin line, and I know this is an area that God is working with me on. I think in a world where self-care is needed, we should ensure that the care for ourselves doesn't include the lack for others. 

The waiting period time from when I make my order at a restaurant to when the food actually comes is the worst to me! In my impatience, I get cranky, mouthy, and in reality I become a real jerk! To be honest, that's how we are in our relationship with Christ! Waiting can be difficult, but when you trust the God that promised you, it makes it easier to wait it out for God's divine hand. 

Definitely thought this was episode 14 LOL! I am tired!!! BUT I have a WORD! Somethings in life hit different based upon your experience. Sometimes, scriptures, stories, novels, and other things come alive based on your experiences in life. These experiences are meant to be shared for the Glory of God and how you made it over. Sometimes in the most stressful moments of life, you have to hold on to what you know best. Yes it's painful, yes you're overwhelmed, and yes YOU have to go through it. BUT! If you can just get a grip, and don't give up, I promise you're going to make it through. 

In my opinion one of the most asked question in times of despair is "What to do When Bad Things Happen?" What do you do? Do you go to a friend? Family? What if none of them are around? I think I have an answer that is simple, yet hard to do and believe. Let's talk about it!

I had to come to grips with a hard reality. I can be judgmental sometimes. It's unintentional, but I think because how I grew up it was just a part of me. However, when I self reflect of the sins God forgave me of, I have to drop the stones and extend the same grace that I was given. Take this journey with me today as I discuss today's topic. I hated practice! It was the worst to me. The breathing hard, sweating, soreness, pain, aches, and everything else was too much for me. However, I know its needed if you want to perform at a high level. The same in your walk with Christ. You face challenges and situations everyday. I've always struggled with my own internal insecurities. From my weight, to my personality, even my laugh lol. I've had to learn somethings about overcoming these insecurities. AND STILL LEARNING!!!!! LOL

No one likes to go through pain. Physical, emotional, and mental pain is not desired by anyone. However, sometimes, pain is used to grow us and mature us into who we should be. Though it's not desirable, it is necessary. 

In order to have good quality friendships, we have to be a good quality friend. In this episode, we talk about how to be a good friend. In times like this, we need our friends. 

No fancy title here. Just a topic about one of the most difficult things to do spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Let's talk about the process of forgiveness and what I learned about it. 

There are moments where being a Dad can feel frustrating. You can feel unappreciated, beaten up, and sometimes forsaken. Today, I talk about these frustrations but also give some encouraging insight!
