When did you give up your passion? Your TRUE passion? Was it when your parents told you you could never make money with it? When you knew you'd never be famous? Or did it slowly die like a lost love? And furthermore, why do we encourage our children not to follow their passion? Even if it's just for fun and they never WANT to be famous? I feel like if we allowed more passion for the sheer joy, we would be a lot less miserable as a species. ---- Intro music by: bensound.com Follow me in Instagram: @HowToBeBadass.ish --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/howtobebadassish/support

What if those huge, ginormous, amazing dreams we have really are our calling and we've believed a society that thinks unless it's hard, we don't deserve it? And yet...we idolize those that seem to have an effortless life. Not the 65% dark chocolate on strawberries at Valentine's Day...the dark chocolate (or as I call it: black chocolate because it's damn near solid black) that has 85% cacao or higher. One step away from bakers chocolate. Why? Because according to this healthy hottie, it contains TONS of magnesium which is basically the main nutrient your body needs during your period. But even better than that, Laura has hacked her hormone system to a level we dream of. She knows exactly when to schedule meetings, and when to schedule naps. (Read that again!!) She's figured out how to HEALTHILY lose weight (put the shake down!) What kind of exercise you SHOULD be doing each week (not you, P90X...) How to be more efficient in work and your day to day And even has some brilliant thoughts on why women shouldn't apologize at work... Bonus? She can teach you all the things.

Sh*! is scary right now...and yet, is it scary because it's unknown? Or because of media? Being claircognizant (knowing things I "shouldn't" know because I have no experience or research) is both a blessing and a curse. People always ask "How do you know?" and honestly, man. I don't know where the knowledge comes from...but I DO know I get downloads. Admitting my gift is almost as terrifying as watching the news right now. But I feel it's important. Today I go in depth about the download I got during a meditation about the COVID-19. The good, the potential, the bad, the reason it started...and the ugly. All I can say is the resounding universal message is: Don't waste it. It CAN be a gift, or the apocalypse. Dr. Anita M Jackson loves Pringles and movies, cooking, entertaining, and sleeping. (Don't we all!) But her normalcy isn't the astonishing part, it's the comforting part. Because very often we assume those with great success and lots of degrees (she has quite a few) means they don't have human stuff, or a past for some odd reason. Like they never had troubles or downfalls before becoming this badass we know today. I mean...she's definitely a badass! The awesome fact that she sang in a quartet at Disney's 25th Anniversary, is the founder and CEO of Unlimited Woman Alliance, HER Global Voice, and AMJ Productions and Publication helps! However, in her words: "My professional background is impressive but my journey in life has been transformational, to say the least, with its ups, downs, losses, pain, profound struggles, and deep divine revelations that have helped me heal into my higher self as an Unlimited Woman, CEO, #1 best-selling author twelve times over, exec producer of two online radio and two shows, and so much more. More specifically, my story has abuse, domestic violence, homelessness, ADHD, depression, suicide attempts...and other stuff." I genuinely enjoyed my chat with this powerhouse woman and her explanation between "purpose" and "calling" while getting deep about life, and how sometimes your life imploding is the best gift you can get from the universe. Dr. Anita M Jackson now helps women move from the disempowering belief system of "I'm not enough" to the life-changing empowering truth of "I AM Enough and Unlimited in life, business, wealth and so much more." "Do whales fart?" was a question I was asked before recording (because I open it up to intervewees to ask questions before we get started), and truthfully she peaked my curiosity about it....after I nearly peed laughing. But alas, no whale farting was talked about. Instead we did a deep dive in how she KNOWS she's soooooo unrelatable due to her extreme hyper-lactation condition, and yet after donating nearly 300,000 ounces of breastmilk in less than 5 years (actual numbers! Literally, NO exaggeration!) this badass mamma jamma is the one you WANT to get help from if you are having issues breastfeeding your child. And she has a multitude of ways to allow ANY mom to get it, and 10,000 successful flange fittings for moms to prove it. Elisabeth regularly works 90 hour weeks running multiple massive fan pages, multiple mom support groups, and is putting in place even more ways to support mothers. This serious badass mom of two is prior decorated military, saved someone's life on a plane, an artist and seamstress, and is doing her damndest to save the world one drop of breastmilk at a time.
