YouTube Link: https://youtu.be/aaO9DwabS5oFatherhood isn't just about having a child — it's about how you show up for that child. In the Season 4 premiere of Baby Daddy Chronicles, we break down the different levels of being a father and the difference between simply being a baby dad, a baby father, and a dad.We get into what financial stability really means when you have children, why having a child can sometimes put a battery in your back and motivate you to work harder, and whether becoming a parent automatically makes someone responsible. We also talk about that bittersweet time of year when the kids head back to school — how parents feel about getting their routine back, the changing school calendar, and why it feels like kids' summer break gets shorter every year. But at the heart of the conversation is one major question:What actually separates a man who has a child from a man who is truly a dad?Is it money?
Is it being present?
Is it providing?
Is it emotional support?
Is it discipline and guidance?
Or is being a dad about the combination of all of these things?Harvey joins the conversation as we challenge the labels and take an honest look at the different levels of fatherhood, the responsibilities that come with having children, and what it really means to step up.Season 4 starts here.Harvey Social Media:Twitter: (@VeeAyeFinest757)Instagram: (@mcallisterdynasty)Good Pod Link:https://goodpods.com/podcasts/baby-daddy-chronicles-197440?_branch_match_id=1019433464332476481&_branch_referrer=H4sIAAAAAAAAA8soKSkottLXT8%2FPTynITynWSywo0MvJzMvWz01xSTPNDI0ocEsCAMIos%2BslAAAABaby Daddy Chronicles Information:Instagram: (@babydaddychroniclespod)Twitter: (@babydaddychron)Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/babydaddychroniclespodcastFacebook Group: Baby Daddy ChroniclesYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1u3ImmZFhw8wnXjqeRJp7g

Can a Christian be demonized? What does the Bible actually teach about demonic oppression, influence, and possession? Are all forms of demonic activity the same, or are there different levels of spiritual bondage? In this episode of the Cryptid Warfare Podcast, I sit down with Dr. Dennis Carroll for a biblical discussion on the different levels of demonic influence and possession. Together, we examine key passages of Scripture, explore real-life cases and experiences, and discuss how Jesus and the apostles confronted demonic powers throughout the New Testament. We also talk about: The difference between temptation, oppression, obsession, and possession. What the Bible says about demonic influence. Can believers be affected by demons? Recognizing spiritual warfare through a biblical lens. Why discernment is so important in today's culture. The authority of Jesus Christ over every demonic power. Practical, biblical guidance for those seeking freedom and truth. Whether you've had questions about spiritual warfare or simply want a deeper understanding of what Scripture teaches, this episode encourages listeners to stay grounded in God's Word rather than fear or speculation. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." — Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) If you enjoy this episode, be sure to like, subscribe, and share it with someone who wants to grow in biblical discernment. Some retreat lessons never go out of style. In this Throwback Thursday episode of The Retreat Leaders Podcast, Shannon Jamail revisits one of her favorite conversations with Chelle Swierz, founder of Topia Boutique Retreat Center in Baja California Sur, Mexico. While marketing trends, AI, and visibility strategies continue to evolve, the core principles of creating exceptional retreat experiences remain the same. In this conversation, Chelle shares the common mistakes she sees retreat leaders make—and many of them are still happening today. From poor guest preparation and choosing the wrong retreat dates to relying too heavily on social media instead of building genuine relationships, this episode is packed with timeless wisdom for retreat leaders. Shannon and Chelle also discuss: The importance of over-communicating with retreat guests Why trust is built long before a retreat begins How venue partnerships can elevate the guest experience Common planning mistakes that impact retreat success The power of personal connection over social media marketing Creating memorable and transformational retreat experiences If you're planning a retreat, struggling to fill one, or simply want to improve the experience you create for your guests, this episode is as relevant today as it was when it first aired. What You'll Learn in This Episode Common retreat hosting mistakes Why guest preparation matters How to choose better retreat dates The importance of clear communication Why relationships still outperform algorithms How retreat venues can support retreat leaders Creating an exceptional retreat guest experience Key Takeaways Retreat Success Starts Before Guests Arrive The guest experience begins long before check-in. Communication, preparation, and expectation-setting matter. Social Media Isn't Enough People may discover you online. But trust is built through relationships and conversations. Over-Communication Is a Good Thing Guests appreciate clarity. The more prepared they feel, the better their experience. Venue Partnerships Matter The right venue partner can dramatically improve the retreat experience for both leaders and guests. Authenticity Always Wins Clear, honest communication about what guests can expect leads to better experiences and stronger reviews. About Chelle Swierz Chelle Swierz is a longtime yoga instructor and founder of Topia Boutique Retreat Center in Baja California Sur, Mexico. About Topia Boutique Retreat Center (00:02:22) Shelly describes her full-service retreat center, Topia, which she co-owns with her husband, and its mission to support leaders. Different Levels of Venue Service (00:03:19) Shannon and Shelly discuss the spectrum of venue services, from 100% self-service to fully supported, all-inclusive models like Topia. Biggest Mistake: Not Knowing Your Community (00:05:20) Shelly explains the most common mistake is not knowing if you have a community that is willing and able to travel. Social Media Following vs. Real Community (00:08:16) A large social media following doesn't guarantee retreat sign-ups; genuine, personal relationships and trust are what fill retreats. The Importance of Strategic Planning (00:12:23) Discussion on giving yourself enough time to market, building community, and the benefits of partnering with another leader. Mistake #2: Choosing Dates Unwisely (00:14:35) Shelly warns against scheduling local retreats before international ones, as it can cannibalize sign-ups for the bigger trip. Considering Demographics, Weather, and Holidays (00:17:54) The importance of considering your audience's schedule, holidays, and the location's weather when selecting retreat dates is discussed. Best Practice: Over-Communicate with Guests (00:20:50) Shelly highlights the importance of preparing guests thoroughly through emails, Zoom calls, and clear itineraries to ensure a smooth experience. The Power of One-on-One Calls (00:23:40) Shannon emphasizes having quick one-on-one calls with each guest to review details and answer personal questions before the retreat. More About Topia Retreat Center (00:26:30) Shelly describes Topia's beautiful location in Baja California Sur and its focus on caring for and supporting retreat leaders.

Keenan is the founder and CEO of A Sales Guy, where he helps organizations move beyond product-driven selling and into problem-centric sales strategies. He's also the author of Gap Selling, a framework built around one powerful idea: understanding the gap between where a buyer is today and where they need to be. In this episode, Keenan and Mark Stiving unpack a truth most teams say they believe—but rarely execute: buyers don't pay for products, they pay based on the size of the problem and the cost of not solving it. If you've ever wondered why deals stall, why buyers default to "no decision," or why price suddenly becomes the issue—this conversation will challenge how you think about selling, pricing, and what actually drives someone to act.   Why You Have to Check Out Today's Podcast: Understand why buyers don't change unless the problem feels urgent enough and how to surface the real cost of inaction. Learn how gap selling uncovers the true drivers behind buying decisions by connecting root causes, problems, and impact. Discover why pricing power comes from problem size not product features and how that changes the way you sell and price.   "Value is delivered by the size of the problem—and the cost of not solving it." — Keenan   Topics Covered: 01:07 – What Gap Selling Really Means. How shifting from product pitching to problem diagnosis changes win rates, deal size, and sales outcomes 05:05 – Why Everything Starts with a Problem. The hidden truth: every buying decision is driven by a problem—whether the buyer realizes it or not 09:47 – The Different Levels of Problems in Sales. How surface-level needs hide deeper drivers—and why most salespeople stop too early 10:37 – Root Cause vs. Problem vs. Impact. A powerful framework to uncover what's really driving the need to change 13:56 – What Actually Motivates Buyers to Act. Why root causes don't trigger action—but impact does 19:30 – How Deep Should You Go in Problem Discovery? Knowing when to keep digging—and when you've found what truly matters 20:26 – A Real Example: Breaking Down Root Causes (Obesity Case). How complex problems reveal multiple layers—and why that matters in selling 25:04 – How Trust Is Built Through Problem Clarity. Why buyers trust you more when you understand their problem better than they do 27:33 – Pricing Based on the Cost of Inaction. Why price isn't about your product—it's about how painful it is not to solve the problem   Key Takeaways: "People don't change unless their current state is untenable." – Keenan "Gap Selling is a selling methodology that helps salespeople improve their win rate, shorten sales cycles, improve their average contract value and close more deals faster." – Keenan "Understanding the size of the problem of not solving it is crucial for pricing." – Keenan   People / Resources Mentioned: A Sales Guy – Keenan's company; focused on modern sales strategy Gap Selling – Framework for understanding buyer problems and driving sales Gap Prospecting – Keenan's extension of gap selling into outbound and pipeline generation Status Quo Bias – Why buyers avoid change unless impact is high   Connect with Keenan: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jimkeenan/  Website: https://salesgrowth.com/    Connect with Mark Stiving: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stiving/ Email: mark@impactpricing.com

Many people get into the bird dog world with a young dog and train for beginner-level events, like the NAVHDA Natural Ability test, AKC Junior Hunter tests, or field trial puppy and derby stakes. With a well-bred bird dog and some deliberate exposure, doing well at these events shouldn't take a ton of effort. However, the jump to intermediate or advanced levels of testing is large. I find that people often underestimate the amount of time and energy it takes to get your dog ready for Senior/Master hunting tests, adult field trial stakes, or the NAVHDA Utility test (I know I did!). This episode discusses some general guidelines on the amount of time and effort you should expect to invest in order to reach the various levels. -- The Accidental Bird Dog Podcast is part of the HerUpland Podcast Network and is sponsored by OnX Hunt.

After 28 years, I finally understand the mind-pretzel logic that kept my husband stuck in addiction: "Everyone leaves because I'm fundamentally broken, so I might as well use porn. But you're NOT allowed to point out my brokenness, or YOU'RE the bad one." In this episode, we break down Jay's Plan A, B, and C - and why he never planned for the one where I could agree with him about his flaws without him exploding or expecting me to leave. The revelation that changed everything for me: Jay didn't see me as his wife. He saw me as just another level of enemy - closer than most, but still someone who would eventually use ammunition against him. This explains why it was easier for him to let me file for divorce than to let me point out a single flaw. His ego couldn't handle being seen, even by someone who loved him. For the wives watching: If you've tried the "compliment-concern-commitment" approach perfectly for months and he still attacks you, you're not crazy. He might just like to fight. Try it for six months like I did, then trust what you see. For the men watching: If you're stuck in "everyone's against me" thinking, this video shows you how to find actually trustworthy people and build real vulnerability instead of keeping everyone at arm's length as potential threats. Preemptive victimhood doesn't make you the victim. It turns you into the perpetrator. Episode referenced: "She's the Enemy" (December 15th) What we cover: -Why "thank you" wasn't enough (but "this hurts me" was too much) -The narcissistic response to having flaws pointed out -How the Three C's approach worked (and when it didn't) -"Different levels of enemies" - the mindset that blocks real connection -The college friend Jay screamed at for 2 hours -How to test if someone is actually trustworthy -Why strong emotions from your wife mean she loves you, not hates you Timestamps 00:00 Cold Open: Preemptive Victimhood Made Him the Perpetrator 00:37 The Mind-Pretzel: I'm Broken But You Can't Say It 02:44 Plan A, B, C: He Never Expected Me to Agree 04:43 Easier for Me to Leave Than for His Ego to Break 06:47 I Tried the Three C's Perfectly for Six Months (He Still Attacked) 09:43 Everybody's Different (Learning to Trust Again) 10:47 Just Different Levels of Enemies (No Real Friends) 12:03 How to Find People Who Are Actually Trustworthy 13:54 When Victimhood Turns You Into the Abuser -- To Rebuild Trust - https://thecouplecure.com/contact-me/ To Recover from Betrayal Trauma - https://pornpainhealed.com/contact-me/ Guys to Schedule a Free Call with Jay - https://porniskillingme.com/schedule-a-free-intro-call/ To Say Thanks ("Tip Jar") - https://buy.stripe.com/8wM6pe74F9LsdkA8ww -- Who is This Channel For? This week, Jake and Bob discuss the relationship between healing, deliverance, and spiritual warfare. They explore the nature of spiritual strongholds (patterns of thoughts or beliefs that oppose the reality of who God is) and why these strongholds often obstruct emotional and spiritual healing. Jake and Bob also nuance the distinction between ordinary and extraordinary experiences of grace and how the supernatural is hidden within the quiet or ordinary moments. Finally, they address the role of spiritual authority within the Church, the importance of recognizing your own authority, and why authentic healing flows from relationship with Christ rather than technique.   Key Points: The healing and deliverance processes are deeply connected  Spiritual warfare is part of everyday life Strongholds are built from repeated thoughts, beliefs, and lies that oppose the reality of who God is The ordinary is often where the supernatural is most active. Extraordinary experiences are not a measure of God's presence in our lives Wounds can become entry points for spiritual influence if left unaddressed Deliverance often involves dismantling lies and beliefs (strongholds) rather than confronting extraordinary manifestations Prayer, the Sacraments, and virtues are our weapons in spiritual warfare Healing comes from relationship with Christ, not because of a specific prayer formula or technique There are different levels of spiritual authority within the Church   Chapters: 00:00 Introduction 03:02 Engaging in a Spiritual Battle as a Catholic 12:21 How Do We Pull Down Strongholds in Our Life? 18:21 The Supernatural isn't Exclusive to Extraordinary Moments 25:11 Ordinary and Extraordinary Dynamics in Healing and Deliverance 34:56 The Difference Between Human and Angelic Intelligence 43:55 What are the Different Levels of Authority in the Church? 57:43 How Can We Exercise Our Authority?  Connect with Restore the Glory:  Instagram: @restoretheglorypodcast  Twitter: @RestoreGloryPod Facebook: Restore the Glory Podcast   Never miss out on an episode by hitting the subscribe button right now! Show Notes: David Nour, author of Relationship Economics, discusses the six phases of strategic relationships. He emphasizes intentionality and a portfolio approach to relationship investing. The six phases he uses throughout the episode are: mapping, relating, nurturing, sustaining, requesting, and capitalizing. Different Levels of Relationship Management  Nour explains that when a challenge arises, the first questions should be: Who do I need? Who do I know? How do I connect the dots? He contrasts haphazard outreach, simple lists, and CRM-driven discipline, underscoring the importance of intentionality and consistency. He highlights relationship mapping to achieve specific goals—beginning with identifying targets, nurturing, and sustaining relationships. In a pharma example, he shows how to identify key companies and contacts and introduces the ideal relationship profile—focusing on specific individuals (not logos) because relationships are built between people. He also stresses finding “lookalikes”: individuals whose values are aligned, who value and respect the relationship.  Cold Outreach to Build Relationships On building new relationships—especially via cold outreach—Nour recommends focusing on fewer but better-qualified leads: go where potential clients already are (e.g., micro-events), be more interested than interesting, and engage with thoughtful questions. Quick, consistent follow-up turns initial introductions into meaningful relationships. He shares specific questions he uses to spark valuable conversations and secure meetings.  Initial Conversations in Relationship Building Nour critiques “intellectually lazy” openings like “Tell me about your situation.” Instead, come prepared with a hypothesis based on research and use questions to set the agenda. Authenticity matters: each consultant should develop their own style. To avoid being forgettable, respectfully provoke prospects to think differently.  Unpacking the Four Middle Phases Nour details the four phases that form the “engine” of relationship development: Relating: Share relevant stories so prospects see themselves in similar situations. Nurturing: Add value with ideas, checklists, and stress-testing to build trust and credibility. Sustaining: Maintain momentum over time; help the buyer buy; enable internal champions. Requesting: Earn the right to ask for deeper access (e.g., org charts, NDAs, stakeholder conversations) to better understand needs and increase impact.  Capitalizing on Relationships After Project Completion Two-thirds of the way through a project, identify existing, impending, and created needs to link projects and avoid losing momentum post-delivery. Nour shares how he invites senior executives from one client to speak at another client's event (non-competing industries), creating an ecosystem of seasoned leaders who become walking case studies. Climbing the Relationship Value Pyramid Nour bridges the gap between recognizing the importance of relationships and harnessing their significance with three ideas: Intelligent Relationship Management: Set relationship-centric outcomes, identify pivotal contacts, and make consistent “favor economy” deposits. Strategic Relationship Planning: Map company-to-company relationships from now to next (champions, cadence, outcomes). Relationship Value Pyramid: Categorize by depth and relevance—situation, investment, portfolio, recall (2 a.m.)—and apply a portfolio approach with a “three-touch rule” before reallocating attention.  Reciprocity in Relationship Building Nour reviews gratitude, reciprocity, and paying it forward as observable behaviors. Twice a year, he reviews his top 100 relationships to prioritize where to invest next. He also mentions Avnir, his AI platform that builds a private relationship vault from existing data sources and prompts context-relevant actions to deepen connections.  Timestamps 05:40: Mapping & Ideal Relationship Profiles 10:20: Building New Relationships (Cold Outreach) 22:16: The Six Phases: Mapping, Relating, Nurturing, Sustaining, Requesting, Capitalizing 28:31: Capitalizing on Relationships 35:51: Relationship Economics Framework 42:34: Portfolio Approach & Three-Touch Rule 48:41: Activating the Untapped Power of Relationships  Links Professional Services Website: DavidNour.com AI Platform Website: Avnir.com Nour on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidnour/   Unleashed is produced by Umbrex, which has a mission of connecting independent management consultants with one another, creating opportunities for members to meet, build relationships, and share lessons learned. Consider this the prequel to upcoming episodes on the clinical uses of ablative laser resurfacing, non-ablative laser resurfacing, light and energy based devices.  By understanding the language and core scientific concepts of lasers, we hope to make you a safer and more educated laser provider!   Corrections/Clarifications: - Blood vessels are lined by endothelium (not epithelium) - The skin registers pain from heat at 45C, but may occur between 43-44C with variability based on the time of exposure and area of exposure (I stated it occurs at 42C) https://www.cardinalhealth.com/content/dam/corp/web/documents/whitepaper/cardinal-health-localized-temperature-therapy%20White%20Paper.pdf - The exact number varies by source, but waters absorbs the erbium 2940nm wavelength 10-20 times more efficiently than it absorbs the CO2 10,600nm wavelength (I said 30 times) - Clarification:  Eyelid skin is thinner closer to the lashes and on the medial aspect of the eyelid as compared to skin further from the lashes and the lateral aspect of the eyelid.  A study in Korean skin by Hwang et al found the thickest part of the eyelid to be just below the eyebrow (1.127 +/- 238um) with the thinnest skin near the ciliary margin 320 +/- 49um).  Jeong et al found that epidermal thickness is similar between genders while men had thicker reticular dermis than women and skin thickness was not correlated with BMI. - The UV wavelengths range from 100nm - 400nm.  UVC: 100nm - 280nm; UVB: 280nm-315nm; UVA: 315-400.  (I used single wavelength numbers rather than a range for ease of explanation).   Citations for skin thickness: Full thickness punch biopsies from cadaver heads processed with paraffin-embedded slides: Karan Chopra, Daniel Calva, Michael Sosin, Kashyap Komarraju Tadisina, Abhishake Banda, Carla De La Cruz, Muhammad R. Today, Simon Kuestenmacher and I discuss a topic that's at the heart of the “Great Australian Dream”: homeownership. For over a century, owning your own home was not just a rite of passage—it was an expectation. But that dream is slipping further out of reach for millions of Australians, particularly younger generations. We discuss the evolving landscape of homeownership in Australia, tracing its historical roots and examining the current challenges faced by younger generations.   We examine the impact of demographic shifts, migration, and investment trends on homeownership rates, as well as the growing trend towards renting.   The conversation highlights the complexities of housing affordability and the systemic issues that need to be addressed to ensure a fair chance for all Australians in the property market.   Takeaways  Homeownership in Australia is becoming increasingly unattainable for younger generations. Historical peaks of homeownership have been followed by significant declines. Demographic shifts, including education and migration, are impacting homeownership rates. The average age of first home buyers is rising due to economic pressures. Government policies are often short-term solutions rather than systemic changes. The divide between asset-owning and non-asset-owning families is widening. The 'bank of mom and dad' plays a crucial role in homeownership. Renting is likely to become the norm in Australia.   Affordability issues are compounded by rising property prices and construction costs. A comprehensive approach is needed to address housing affordability for future generations.   Chapters  01:48 – Homeownership Dream Slipping Further and Further 09:24 - Different Levels of Homeownership 09:20 – Peculiarities of Life in Inland Cities 13:31 – The Cost of New Construction Become Even Worse 17:45 – Projects in Australian Rental Landscape 21:49 – First Home Buyer Schemes 23:37 – Final Thoughts     Links and Resources:   Answer this week's trivia question here- www.PropertyTrivia.com.au ·         Win a hard copy of Michael Yardney's Guide to Investing Successfully ·         Every entry receives a copy of a fully updated Michael Yardney Property Report   Michael Yardney   Get the team at Metropole to help build your personal Strategic Property Plan Click here and have a chat with us   Simon Kuestenmacher: Australia's leading demographer and partner in the Demographics Group   Get a bundle of eBooks and Reports at www.PodcastBonus.com.au   Also, please subscribe to my other podcast, Demographics Decoded with Simon Kuestenmacher – just look for Demographics Decoded wherever you are listening to this podcast and subscribe so each week we can unveil the trends shaping your future. Today's guests are Cameron Josse and Joel Reinhardt. Cameron Josse is an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach with the Detroit Lions. He's previously led training at DeFranco's and worked in college football at UNC Charlotte and Indiana, training athletes across the NFL, NHL, UFC, and WWE. Joel Reinhardt is the Director of Football Performance at Lafayette College. He's coached at San José State, Stanford, UMass, and Nicholls State. Both Cameron and Joel are field leaders in applied performance, data-driven programming, and athletic movement for physical preparation in American Football. Details in athletic preparation change from the level of high school to college to professional. On today's episode, Cameron and Joel speak on the nature of contact and collision preparation in their athlete populations, with a specific emphasis on the use of the ground and rolling patterns. They discuss the specific game demands of football, especially on the college and pro level, and how to prepare athletes for 25,000+ weekly yards of total on-field movement. They break down their approaches to speed, direction change, and capacity building work, with these ideas in mind. This was a show with lots of wisdom on helping players fully meet the needs of their sport. Today's episode is brought to you by Hammer Strength and LILA Exogen wearable resistance. Joel discusses managing heavy summer phases before camp, while Cam explains the shift in autonomy and scheduling when transitioning to the NFL. What to try: In college, leverage summer access to build in more football-specific work before camp. In pro settings: Expect less year-round control—build players' autonomy and keep lines open during away periods. Plan for longer in-season stress in the NFL (17+ games); taper early and build recovery into weekly rhythms Navigating Player Relationships with Private Trainers [4:48] Cameron emphasizes collaboration with private-sector coaches when players train off-site. Rather than resisting outside input, he advocates for using it to better individualize in-team programming. What to try: Reach out to private coaches working with your athletes—especially vets with long-standing relationships. Use those conversations to shape training direction, not override it. Drop the ego—focus on what helps the athlete feel and perform best Adapting Contact Prep and Agility for Different Levels [15:57] Literal contact prep (e.g., wrestling, rugby-style drills) is mostly off-limits in team settings. Cam shifts toward decel work, ground-based drills, and rolling patterns to mimic collisions without violating rules. What to try: Use crawling, rolls, and tumbling as proxies for contact—especially during early prep phases. Emphasize deceleration and COD mechanics for lower body contact loading.
