Small talk is boring. Let's get to the good stuff. The personal stuff. Whether it's health, wellness, dating, life in nyc, finding yourself, body image, let's talk about it.
chat about a rough moment I had the other day. and trying to better curate my social media & inner circle.
emotions! love them! emma chamberlain giving me all the inspo today
a ramble of a catch up, but will be more consistently posting from here on out!
chat about the stress of eating during the holidays, being with family, and finding balance amidst the chaos.
a quick little chat about confidence. some things I like to remind myself of on the daily.
a ramble on my guidelines for dating, some things I wish I knew, and a quick IUD update. much more info on hormones from @paige.lindgren, she's flooded with knowledge
bit of a ramble as I scramble to catch up with my own thoughts and emotions. seasons changing & I feel like everything around me is too. anyone else?
feel like there has been so much chat about the "influencer" world lately, so I wanted to weigh in a bit. just some thoughts and a bit of reality behind the posts we all see. also reminding myself & you to focus more on yourself, and less on everyone else.
A bit of a storytime, chat about moving on, letting go, falling out of routine (health and fitness wise), and some other chat like that :)
A very very casual conversation with one of my closest friends, Fredrika (@fredrika_ekerot). Just chatting about her move to NYC from Europe, how she managed to meet people, and some dating tea.
Super health focused episode, but just had some things on my mind regarding balanced diets and such. The prebiotic I've been using has helped me so much, so a bit on gut health there, and also sharing my experience getting a copper IUD.
Another podcast hiatus but I'm back I swear. Just a personal update on why I've been distant, my advice for when you're feeling burnt & stressed, and a couple takes on relationships/situationships.
Not too much structure for this episode -- just a very open chat with a very good friend. Get to know Sian & how her paths have changed over the course of the past few years, and listen in on our thoughts & experiences with career path decisions, not taking the normal route of schooling, and a dash of friends coming & going throughout our lives. Give Sian a follow while you're at it, and check out her podcast 'Apricity' too (it's great) @SianCamile
Quick point of view on the 'that girl' trend, and a sense of relief when you step into the mindset and understanding that nothing is too personal. A lot of "I" this & that...an episode very heavy on my opinion/view. What's your take on the 'that girl' trend?
Being the "yes man" some days, then focusing on self care and alone time other days can be a weird balance. Just a ramble of my thoughts & recent personal experiences trying to juggle both, some notes on intuitive eating and letting go, and ending with some ways to stop scrolling on social media.
Had a pretty rough week last week. Not someone who gets anxious too often, but every now and then life just happens. These are some things that I do when I'm anxious to help me manage everything going on and really get to the root of my issues. Also...have you heard of the villain era? Let's talk about it.
Eavesdrop in on a conversation with my close friend Mya as we talk about a myriad of things. Learn about how she got her start in healthy eating, how moving to NYC affected her mental health, and her tips on how to meet friends in a big city.
Lot of gloomy days lately, been feeling pretty off here and there. Know that you're not alone, seasonal depression (I put myself in the seasonal sadness category) is real & coming in hot. On top of that, 2022 is here & so is goal setting. It's key to find a balance between pushing yourself & not being too hard on yourself at the same time. This is just a ramble about the things on the forefront of my mind this past week :)
Answering a few questions I get quite frequently, and a thought ramble on my experience with weight gain, 'what I eat in a day' videos & social media. Such a dense topic, much more to touch on, but wanted to share a bit since it's been on my mind.
For a lack of better terminology, this is an episode of me yelling at you to spend more time by yourself. Giving a bit of insight into my life through the past couple years, and how alone time has been the most essential aspect of my growth. Gaining confidence, finding yourself, having strong boundaries, and respecting your time and energy all are results of dedicating time for yourself. It's a journey. Hope you enjoy x
A quick intro into why I began social media (mainly Instagram), & a glimpse into my hopes for this podcast. Excited to open conversation about anything & everything. :)
