This podcast is focused on Games Workshops Warhammer 40k. We are based in Northwest Ohio, and strive to help bring the Great Lakes warhammer community together.
So who records during the middle of an event with no real topic in sight? We do that's who! Kind of a meandering wandering thru GW and giving back to the community. The sound quality is suspect in some parts as well.. we were in the middle of a tournament and sometimes that leads to distraction rather than excellent microphone skills
Time to take a look back at 2013. What did we accomplish, where did we fall, what do we have upcoming for 2014?

The Outriders were established to help spread the word of Games Workshop, to announce to the world the lure of Miniature Gaming and to help grow the legions of the devouted. The Outrider Corp is no more, however the people that once bore that name remain. This is their story....

What rules they tend to find themselves forgetting and transitioning from 5th to 6th. Mark and Ken interview Alan Bajramovic and Mark talks with Alex Fennell of the American ETC team.
With 6th edition in our hot little hands we find a way to get as far away from the massive changes as possible. We, instead of talking about new rules, talk about our 10 top models in 40k, and we talk with Muggins of Freshcoast 40k. While I know this episode is a little on the lighter side of things. We felt we needed a little time with the rules to really be able to talk intelligently, and after last episodes heavier topic we just needed light and fun. The enrichment center would like to remind you that the weighted companion cube has more common sense than these three meat bags.
This episode is dedicated to Edward Morgan III
Special characters are the topic this episode. Plus we get a handful of interviews.
Is 40k realistic? Can anything be done to increase or decrease the level of realism in the game? Would that be a good or bad thing overall? These are the heavy topics we dive into this week.
