In this episode of the Business of Aesthetics Podcast, host Michael Walker sits down with Shannon Blake, Director of Partnerships Aesthetics at Podium, to talk about how clinics can grow their practice faster by replying to leads quicker and using smart tools like AI. Shannon explains what “Speed to Lead” really means and why it matters more now than ever—especially with the aesthetics industry facing a dip in revenue. You'll hear how using an AI Patient Coordinator can help practices respond to leads within minutes, keep in touch with patients after hours, and never miss another opportunity again. This episode is full of practical tips on how to combine text messaging, automation, and smart follow-up systems to boost patient conversions, improve the front desk experience, and keep your schedule full. Whether you're new to AI or already using it, this conversation will give you a fresh look at how to level up your practice, stay ahead of the competition, and make every lead count.   Key Takeaways Here are the main points your audience will walk away with: Speed matters – If your practice isn't replying to leads within 5 minutes, you're likely losing them to someone else. Use one system for all leads – Collecting leads from different platforms into one place helps you respond faster and stay organized. AI Patient Coordinators can help – Tools like Podium's AI assistant can reply instantly, follow up automatically, and even book appointments—day or night. Missed calls don't have to mean missed revenue – Some systems can now text back anyone who calls and doesn't get through.

In these dark times, we must fight evil with the most powerful weapons we have. The Rosary is foremost among them.Join the Great Rosary Campaign today at: www.GreatRosaryCampaign.com.The Great Rosary Campaign is a yearlong mission for the conversion of cultural leaders. We will announce a weekly call to pray every Sunday for specific fallen-away Catholics and non-Catholics.THIS WEEK of the Great Rosary Campaign, in light of his recent cancer diagnosis and the perhaps more limited time he will have as a result, we are praying for the conversion of Scott Adams, the creator of the famous "Dilbert" comic, and a well-known cultural commentator. The SUGGESTED PENANCE this week is a 24 hour water fast, adjusted for your state in life.Countless Saints and Popes have told us that the Rosary is incredibly powerful for three things in particular:1. Keeping the Faith2. Moral renovation3. Conversions of non-CatholicsThe Great Rosary Campaign is also based on several biblical themes and principles.First, PRAY FOR OUR BRETHREN. “Pray for one another…” (Jas. 5:16). “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of faith" (Gal. 6:10).Second, PRAY FOR OUR ENEMIES. “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven" (Matt. 5:43-44).Third, PRAY FOR ALL MEN, PARTICULARLY LEADERS AND THOSE IN AUTHORITY. “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, or kings and all who are in high positions…” (1 Tim. 2:1-2).Fourth, GOING INTO BATTLE WITH THE ARK. When the ancient Israelites came to Jericho, God didn't tell them to besiege the city. Instead, He told them to march around it with the Ark of the Covenant seven times, and on the seventh the walls would fall. We will now "march" in prayer for seven days with the New Ark of the Covenant, Our Lady, through the Rosary. We pray in hope that on the seventh day, a day especially devoted to Our Lady (Saturday), extraordinary graces of conversion will be given to those we are praying for.Fifth, EVANGELISM AND APOLOGETICS = LOVE + ARGUMENTS + PRAYER + PENANCE. Ultimately it is God who reveals Himself to a soul, and empowers them to say "yes" to Him by His grace. He chooses to use us, but He does not have to. We must remember that as we evangelize and defend the Faith, our arguments will be fruitless unless informed by love (charity), and reinforced by prayer and penance.Sixth, RETURNING GOOD FOR EVIL. “Do not return evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but on the contrary bless, for to this you have been called, that you may obtain a blessing" (1 Pet. 3:9).Sign up to take part in the Great Rosary Campaign today: www.

Jewish conversions are still rising in Canada. Why? The answer might surprise you

On the evening of June 1, a synagogue in Mississauga, Ont., will officially welcome nine new members of the Jewish faith, during Shavuot services. The conversion candidates have been studying for months, having undergone ritual baths and—in some cases—symbolic circumcisions, all to join the Tribe. The timing of the ceremony for these “Jews by choice” harkens back to the Biblical story we read on Shavuot about Ruth, a Moabite woman who joined the Israelites through marriage, and whose descendants included King David and Jesus Christ. For months, Canadian rabbis of all denominations have been reporting heightened levels of interest in conversions. Some candidates are looking to commit for their Jewish spouse; others proceeded solo on their own spiritual journeys. However, one thing many had in common: Oct. 7 has a lot to do with it. Why would anyone want to become Jewish, you ask, when antisemitism and anti-Zionism are becoming increasingly mainstream? We get answers on today's episode of The CJN Daily. Rabbis Taylor Baruchel of Holy Blossom Temple, the largest Reform congregation in Canada, and Stephen Wise, the spiritual leader of Shaarei-Beth El Congregation, in Oakville, join to explain the phenomenon. If we be not in good earnest in religion, and our wills and inclinations be not strongly exercised, we are nothing. The things of religion are so great, that there can be no suitableness in the exercises of our hearts, to their nature and importance, unless they be lively and powerful. In nothing is vigour in the actings of our inclinations so requisite, as in religion; and in nothing is lukewarmness so odious.

In this episode of the Your Dream Business Podcast, I talk about the big mistakes a lot of business owners make during their webinars that end up hurting their sales and costing them money. Based on my own experience with marketing and running webinars, I highlight three common slip-ups: treating webinars like free lessons, not showing your expertise clearly, and rushing through the part where you actually sell. I also break down how to set up a webinar that really works—like using case studies, setting the right tone, and confidently sharing your offer. If you're a course creator, membership site owner, or coach looking to make your webinars more effective and boost your results, this episode is definitely worth a listen. KEY TAKEAWAYS COVERED IN THE PODCAST Webinars aren't a free workshop—balance teaching with teasing – Give just enough helpful content to demonstrate value and spark “aha” moments, but leave room for curiosity so attendees still want the paid offer. Show your authority all the way through –Sprinkle in short case studies, quick wins, and personal proof as you teach; this builds trust and positions you as the obvious guide before you even reach the pitch. Slow down and sell with a clear structure –Warm‑up → story → offer → next steps. Move through each phase confidently, repeat the benefits, and handle questions—don't rush the close if you want conversions. If you enjoyed this episode then please feel free to go and share it on your social media or head over to Apple podcasts or Spotify and give me a review, I would be so very grateful. About the Guest(s): Dr. Woolner is a widely-recognized expert in the functional medicine community, known for helping functional medicine practitioners optimize their practice. With a deep commitment to aiding practitioners across various disciplines—chiropractors, nurse practitioners, medical doctors, and more—he focuses on improving both their clinical outcomes and business success. Dr. Wells is an accomplished figure in the functional medicine industry, committed to revolutionizing how practitioners convert potential clients into patients with effective communication and business strategies. He is renowned for his expertise in patient communication, sales strategies, and developing heart-centered approaches to healthcare. Episode Summary: In this pivotal episode of the Simplified Functional Medicine Podcast, Dr. Chad Woolner and Dr. Andrew Wells dive deep into the often challenging aspect of sales within the healthcare sector, especially focusing on high-ticket program conversions. They propose a paradigm shift for practitioners who are averse to traditional sales approaches by presenting a framework that makes enrollment as natural and ethical as possible, without the off-putting pressure of conventional sales techniques. The episode explores key strategies for transforming how practitioners approach patient interaction to achieve higher conversion rates for their high-ticket health programs. Highlighting the importance of understanding patients' goals and the role of tension rather than pressure in the sales process, Dr. Woolner and Dr. Wells share invaluable insights on building trust and developing authentic patient-practitioner relationships. Additionally, they discuss the significance of scripting and preparation to turn the potentially intimidating sales conversation into a reassuring and collaborative dialogue. They draw parallels with real estate agents to illustrate effective selling techniques and emphasize creating an alignment between practitioners' offerings and patients' desires. Key Takeaways: Understand the Patient: Take the time to ask open-ended questions to fully understand what the patient wants, beyond mere symptom relief. Scripting is Essential: Properly practiced scripting guides the conversation effectively, sounding natural and confident rather than robotic. Build Trust Early: Making a strong first impression in the initial five minutes with the patient is crucial for building a lasting relationship. Differentiate Pressure from Tension: Pressure seeks escape while tension seeks resolution; operate in a way that establishes natural tension to help patients reach their goals. Align Solutions with Goals: Present solutions that align directly with patients' articulated goals for more successful conversions. Notable Quotes: "If the word sales makes your skin crawl… this episode is going to be a turning point for you." - Dr. Chad Woolner "The healthcare industry is shifting away from the insurance model to self-pay models." - Dr. Andrew Wells "The secret to a successful sales process in healthcare lies in establishing a natural alignment between patients' desires and practitioners' offerings." - Dr. Chad Woolner "If you're doing sales the right way, it shouldn't feel awkward or slimy." - Dr. Andrew Wells "The value of using scripting is it takes all the pressure off of you on what you're going to say." - Dr. Andrew Wells Resources: Simplified Functional Medicine Website: Simplified Functional Medicine Connect with Dr. Chad Woolner on social media for more insights and tips in functional medicine. Dr. Woolner has extensive experience in helping healthcare professionals integrate meaningful systems and protocols to elevate patient outcomes and improve business practices. Dr. Wells, a co-host of the Simplified Functional Medicine podcast, is particularly skilled in patient communication and has dedicated his career to enhancing healthcare delivery using innovative models and techniques to improve patient experience and success. Episode Summary: In this episode of the Simplified Functional Medicine podcast, hosts Dr. Chad Woolner and Dr. Andrew Wells delve into transforming the often dreaded process of high-ticket sales in the functional medicine space into an effortless alignment that feels natural and authentic. They reveal a strategic framework that sets practitioners up for success in high-ticket program conversions. Their insights aim to alleviate the discomfort practitioners often feel in sales scenarios, which can stem from a lack of alignment between patient goals and practitioner offerings. The episode discusses how vital it is for healthcare practitioners, especially in the shifting landscape from insurance models to self-pay systems, to master the art of non-pressurized sales. By sharing personal anecdotes and drawing parallels to real estate, they illustrate how identifying patient goals and building rapport is critical for success. They argue that the discomfort in sales comes from uncertainty and the lack of a structured approach, which they aim to rectify with their well-crafted scripting and communication strategies. Key Takeaways: Practitioners should prioritize understanding patient goals to align their offerings with patient needs, thus transforming the sales process into a natural, tension-free encounter. Preparation and effective use of scripting significantly enhance patient-practitioner communication, ensuring that sales discussions are smooth and impactful. Distinguishing between pressure and natural tension is crucial; the latter, derived from aligning patient-presented problems with solutions, leads to better conversion rates. A heart-centered approach to patient care and a genuine desire to help patients solve their health issues significantly enhances the practitioner-patient relationship. Mastery of scripting and patient communication improves conversion rates and enhances patients' trust and confidence in their healthcare providers. Notable Quotes: "If you feel slimy asking patients for money, this episode is absolutely for you." - Dr. Andrew Wells "What we want to find out is what their goal is around that thing, around that health condition." - Dr. Andrew Wells "Tension naturally seeks resolution. People will pay to resolve the tension." - Dr. Chad Woolner "Use scripting to take all the pressure off of you on what you're going to say and how you're going to guide the conversation." - Dr. Andrew Wells "Massive difference between pressure and tension; understanding those two things is the key to reaching, helping patients reach those goals." - Dr. Chad Woolner Resources: Learn more and schedule a discovery call with Dr. Andrew Wells: Simplified Functional Medicine Subscribe and follow for more episodes of the Simplified Functional Medicine podcast: Podcast Website Transforming the sales process into a meaningful exchange requires understanding and empathy. Let's talk about volume vs. conversion and how that relates to your Pinterest marketing strategy. There are two camps of people in my community – those who want more traffic and those who want more sales. There are some that have both but more often than not one of those goals wins out. Add to it the frustration of the internet changing and you have a lot of confused, overwhelmed, and frustrated people. But I would argue the frustration isn't always about what's happening TO us but it's the lack of a clear understanding of our business model and what our ultimate goal is. So the question I'm asking today is what's the difference between volume and conversion goals in online business and can you achieve both, especially with Pinterest marketing.—-------Here are some helpful links from the podcast:
