JB White returns with a fiery Monday edition of the RattlerGator Report, mixing college football passion with hard-hitting cultural and political commentary. He opens by defending Florida's coach Billy Napier after a tough loss, blasting fans who don't know how to lose gracefully, and reflecting on how NIL money and high school training have changed the game. From there, JB pivots to international issues, taking aim at Britain's decades-long cover-up of Pakistani grooming gangs and the cowardice of white men who looked away. He ties this into a broader discussion of propaganda, free speech, and how Elon Musk's X is exposing truths the BBC and elites try to bury. The episode crescendos with JB's “Back at Ya” battle plan theory, framing Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Michael Saylor as disruptors in government, business, and finance. With Trump renaming the Department of Defense to the Department of War, JB argues America is in a new phase of fifth-generation warfare, with Bitcoin as a strategic reserve and Michael Saylor as the Delta Force of economic disruption. Equal parts rant, revelation, and rallying cry, this episode captures JB's trademark Southern fire.

President Trump suffered a major loss Tuesday when a federal judge in California ruled that his military occupation of Los Angeles was illegal. Trump's response was highly unsettling. Speaking to reporters, he sounded entirely unconstrained. He threatened to resend the military to L.A. and declared that the military is now definitely going into Chicago. He let out a strange, angry rant about crime in DC that sounded frankly pretty nuts, worrying a variety of legal observers. And he abruptly ended the presser amid another display of anger. We talked to former federal prosecutor Barbara McQuade, who explains the nuts-and-bolts of the judge's L.A. ruling and looks ahead to the possibility of a major inter-branch confrontation with Trump if the courts continue to block his military occupations. McQuade explains why all these displays from Trump show that we're in “a combustible situation waiting for something very bad to happen.” Looking for More from the DSR Network? The gang tries and fails trying to help Tobin do his Sieler it on up clap, which prompts Leroy to reminisce on his captain days but continues to get rudely interrupted by his internet buffering when trying to come down hard on the commenters for speaking harm on Tua. We then hear from Mike McDaniel on Darren Waller, and the guys are starting to feel like this is all a bunch of bull and are rats off a ship on the Waller experiment.

On Thursday, JD Vance delivered a speech designed to reset the political battle over President Trump's abysmally unpopular budget bill. But Vance's speech devolved into a series of rants that seemed to ape Trump's style. Vance lied about the bill's health care cuts and dissembled wildly about its expected impact on rural hospitals—both times smearing undocumented immigrants with vile Trumpian dishonesty. He also baselessly attacked a nonpartisan agency whose analysis displeased him. All this comes as news outlets in many states are showing that people deep in MAGA country know they're set to get royally screwed. Vance's scamming of Trump voters here was extraordinary. But Democrats have work to do. We talked to Michael Linden, an economist and Democratic strategist organizing against the bill. He dissects Vance's lies about it, explains how badly it will shaft Trump voters and the working class, and discusses how Democrats can keep the focus on it through Election Day 2026. This week, Dale Jr. gets real about why NASCAR's identity is rooted in ovals, and the short track and road course problems with the Next Gen car. We revisit the “Boys, have at it” moment with Robin Pemberton that changed NASCAR forever, hear the untold story of a race-fixing scandal, and learn the ingenious (and slightly illegal) cardboard trick that helped them win at Watkins Glen. Plus, Amy's redneck party outfit request leads Dale down a rabbit hole of hilarious autograph stories — from prosthetic legs to fan encounters you won't believe. Ain't nobody got time to watch everything — so we put the best of it right here.] And for more content check out our YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@DirtyMoMediaDirty Mo Media is launching a new e-commerce merch line! PNR: This Old Marketing | Content Marketing with Joe Pulizzi and Robert Rose
Big news in the tech and marketing world this week. AI search leader Perplexity stunned the industry with a $34 billion offer to buy Google Chrome. Is this just a headline-grabbing PR stunt… or could it actually give Google a way out of its ongoing antitrust mess? Meanwhile, OpenAI is scrambling to turn lemons into lemonade after the botched ChatGPT-5 launch. Did they completely miss the mark with their audience, or has their technology hit a temporary wall — giving Google, Anthropic, X, and others a window to catch up? Over on YouTube, creators who target children are sounding alarms over the platform's new age verification and machine learning plan, which goes into effect this week. Many fear it could hurt discoverability and revenue. Marketing Winners this week include Marketing AI Institute and the sweet, unexpected Oreos/Reese's mashup. Rants and Raves feature the surprisingly catchy Hampton Jitney Bus Song and a look at the Wall Street Journal/McKinsey partnership. ----- This week's sponsor: You don't become the world's most valuable women's sports franchise by accident. Angel City Football Club did it with a little help from HubSpot. When they started, data was housed across multiple systems. HubSpot unified their website, email marketing, and fan experience in one platform. This allowed their small team of three to build an entire website in just three days. The results? Nearly 350 new sign-ups a week and 300% database growth in just two years. Visit https://www.hubspot.com/ to hear how HubSpot can help you grow better. ------- Liked this show? Today's Headlines: Trump turned what should've been a straightforward Kennedy Center honoree reveal — shoutout to Sylvester Stallone, Gloria Gaynor, KISS, and Michael Crawford — into another marathon rant. He floated extending National Guard deployments in DC, promised to clear homeless encampments without saying where people will go, and unveiled a pricey 600-troop “Domestic Civil Disturbance Quick Reaction Force” for nationwide protest crackdowns. Down in Texas, Republicans rammed through a gerrymandered congressional map after Trump demanded a special session, while Democrats are still hiding out of state. On the foreign front, Trump is gearing up for his Putin meet-and-greet at an Anchorage military base, warning of “severe consequences” if there's no Ukraine ceasefire. Norway is blaming Russian hackers for sabotaging a dam in April. Trump also nominated former Fox News face Tammy Bruce as deputy ambassador to the UN — even though both the deputy and main gig are currently empty. Oh, and Mexico just extradited 26 alleged cartel bosses after Trump's tariff threats, with the DOJ promising no death penalties.
