Alicia tackles a major issue she's encountered while training CPAs: the outdated practice of using journal entries to fix miscategorized transactions instead of properly reclassifying them. She explains why this traditional approach fails in the modern QuickBooks environment, where AI learns from past categorizations and business owners need accurate data throughout the year, not just at year-end. The episode focuses on the powerful Reclassify Transactions tool and how it can save time while ensuring data accuracy across all reporting periods.Sponsors(00:00) - Introduction and Wheel of Rants (00:31) - The Reclassify Tool: A Modern Approach (04:17) - Creating Rules for Accurate Categorization (07:34) - Using the Reclassify Transactions Tool (14:34) - Conclusion and Final Thoughts Resources LinkedIn Group: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/14630719/YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@UnofficialQuickBooksPodcastEmail: unofficialquickbookspodcast@gmail.comLinks from Episode Use this link to access Reclassify from any QBO file, even if you don't have the QBOA briefcase: qbo.intuit.com/app/reclassify-transactionBDO Alliance: https://www.bdo.com/about/bdo-alliance-usaAlicia's QBO Hands-on Training: http://royl.ws/QBO-complete?affiliate=5393907Sign up to Earmark to earn free CPE for listening to this podcasthttps://www.earmark.app/onboarding

Boom shakalaka! Dive into Ep 1,022 of The Clay Edwards Show, July 17, 2025 – 2 hrs of unfiltered reality radio with Clay Edwards firing on free speech, local scandals, & cultural clashes. Kicking off with a passionate defense of uncensored platforms amid AI de-ranking for taboo topics like COVID & crime. Local Roundup: Rudy Warnock's guilty verdict on corruption charges spirals into tragedy – post-trial car wreck & suicide attempt on I-20 near Pelahatchie. Clay unpacks the "victimless" white-collar crime, long federal sentences (20-50 yrs), & painful recovery ahead. Sympathy for family, but accountability stressed: "Nobody deserves that, but suicide isn't the way out." Breaking: Possible raid on Savannah Street – JPD activity, news crews; ties to roadblocks hunting escaped New Orleans prisoner Derek (last seen in MS). "They're doing cop stuff – welcome to the party!" FAFO Champ: Brandon block party shooting (June 21, Mary Miles Dr.) – city-permitted event turns deadly. Ryan Mosley (31) arrested for 1st-degree murder & felon w/ firearm after killing one, injuring another. "Don't go to parties needing a gun – rethink standards for permits!" Shrimp Scandal: Study reveals 30/44 Jackson-area spots serve imported shrimp despite "wild-caught" claims. Kudos to 14 authentic ones (e.g., Drago's, Half Shell, Shaggy's) – call for transparency under new MS labeling law. Immigration Truth Serum: Border chaos blamed on Dems' open policies; regrets good folks caught in crackdown. "No negative Hispanic interactions ever – hard workers, accountable. But illegal entry = crime; come through front door!" Obama's Masculinity Critique: Ex-prez urges men to get gay friends for empathy, share feelings, ditch provider roles, & embrace arts over sports. Clay fires back: "Already have gay alpha friends! This attacks manosphere – ironic from fragile Barry. Distinguish from LGBTQ agenda; assumptions offend conservatives." Epstein Ties: Listener nods to connections & suicides – "Weird how they're linked." Clay's Rants: Offense at sensitivity over words ("gay" as ball-busting, "retard" for stupidity – not targeting disabled). Stereotypes earned; force acceptance backfires (e.g., Redskins name – Indians want it back!). Raw, chaotic vibes on politics, culture, & accountability.

In this bonus episode of The Spark, Koto CEO and founder James Greenfield returns for a lighter, weirder, and more wonderfully random chat. From his most controversial creative opinion (spoiler: it involves Apple) to dreams featuring Mr Bingo demanding to be called 'The Way', nothing is off-limits. We chat about parenting, drum and bass, the strange comfort of Marcus Aurelius audiobooks, and the surprisingly joyful art of reading mean internet comments. James also reveals the creative outlet he's rubbish at (but would love to master), the most embarrassing pitch moment of his career, and the one thing he wishes Apple TV would sort out immediately. This one's for the curious, the creative, and anyone who's ever planted a hydrangea in the shade and called it therapy. And that's Season Nine wrapped up. It's been an absolute blast. We've loved every minute. Thank you to all our guests for joining us on the show, and a big thank you to the School of Communication Arts for making this season possible. We'll be back in the autumn with fresh guests, new and exciting themes, and more fun and games. Until then, have a great summer.

Today's Headlines: President Trump spent the weekend firing off social media rants, watching FIFA with a celebrity entourage (including Melania and Pam Bondi), and threatening Rosie O'Donnell's citizenship. Behind the scenes, tensions rose within the DOJ as FBI deputy Dan Bongino considered resigning over internal clashes about the Epstein investigation, and new reports revealed Kash Patel's FBI is forcing agents to take polygraphs over disloyalty suspicions. Elsewhere, a deadly shooting in Kentucky left four dead, and two major wildfires destroyed historic structures at the Grand Canyon's North Rim. More flash flood warnings hit already-devastated parts of Texas, where FEMA is under fire for letting a flood-prone summer camp avoid safety requirements. Globally, a Palestinian-American was killed by Israeli settlers, as Israel-Hamas talks remain stalled and airstrikes intensify. Trump threatened more tariffs—including 200% on pharmaceuticals—while hinting at a major Russia-related announcement today. NATO's new chief will visit DC this week, just as the State Department undergoes 15% staff cuts. Meanwhile, House Republicans kick off “Crypto Week” ahead of a key vote on the GENIUS Act. In this fiery episode of SITREP, CannCon and Alpha Warrior dig into the shocking life sentence handed down to Edward Kelly, a decorated Marine convicted not for actions, but for words and plans he never carried out. They break down the DOJ's decision to treat Kelly's angry rants as terrorism, debating whether this unprecedented punishment crosses the line from justice into political persecution. The hosts share raw personal reflections on January 6th prosecutions, the two-tiered system shielding corrupt officials, and how the FBI's tactics have destroyed lives without consequence. The conversation winds through the failures of Trump's DOJ, the slow response from current leadership, and why many Americans feel abandoned. Despite the heavy topic, CannCon and Alpha lighten the mood with banter about Training Day references, the perils of barbecuing brisket, and the absurdity of modern cancel culture. Packed with unfiltered opinions, dark humor, and deep frustration over government overreach, this episode captures the defiance and exasperation of those still demanding accountability.

Hour Tua brings the heat: Jonnu Smith says the Dolphins didn't value him enough? The crew has thoughts. Damian Lillard channels Nacho Libre on Twitter after reports surface about Giannis. Myles Turner is caught in the Dame crosshairs. The NBA spice is REAL. Marcos' Mixed Bag takes us from Cooper Flagg vs. Luka to just about everywhere else. USMNT heads to the Gold Cup Final And yes... Travis Kelce in a broadcast booth?! Chaos pending. Back on the hardwood: Barry Jackson's report on the Heat's future has us wondering — real change or just blame-shifting? Andrew Wiggins trade rumors swirl — could the Lakers make a play? Tyler Herro fires back (kind of) after Stephen A. blasts Miami for missing out on KD. The verdict? Goosies or No Goosies, naturally. In the final hour: Brittney doesn't know who Jim Leyland is… and lands herself in the box! Redemption: she does know Howard Schnellenberger. And the silly sauce hits peak levels with Radio Taboo, as Froggboy hosts a hilarious battle of the sexes: JFig & Brittney vs. Tobin & Leroy. Elite trash talk. Terrible guesses. Total must-listen.
