Peter had enough faith to step out of a boat into deep water during raging storms. However, after he sank and cried out for help, Jesus said he had LITTLE FAITH. Clearly, OUR DEFINITION OF FAITH AND HIS MUST BE DIFFERENT. Faith, in Jesus' eyes, requires literally LOOKING INTO HIS EYES, STARING INTO THE DEPTHS OF HIS FACE, HIS PRESENCE. As we get so captivated by HIM, we lose sight of the wind and waves. The only thing that now drowns is our own fears. When we encounter the wind of the Spirit and the waves of His love, we are no longer concerned with the ones the world throws at us.
I am convinced that within the body of Christ in America that we are still on LIFE SUPPORT. We haven't truly died to self that we might be raised with Him. In Luke 10, Martha was DISTRACTED with MUCH SERVING, while Mary chose to sit at Jesus' feet and heard His word, which Jesus' said was the good part. We are so DISTRACTED and have so many other things to do, we do not make time for God. We would rather DO things out of our flesh rather than let the Lord encounter us and LEAD us by the SPIRIT. I believe that in these last days that the Lord is raising up a new breed of college students who love the presence of God and know His word in a depth unknown, that eye has not seen, ear has not heard, but we must die to ourselves in order to get there.
Systematic Racism or Sustained Revival? We can choose what we want in our nation. In light of the racial tension in our country, we use the word of God to show us how to spiritually make an impact for Christ and be agents of healing and reconciliation in our generation.
In the midst of contending for unity within the body of Christ, it's so easy to offer up a generic "unity" message and avoid controversial topics. However, in order to achieve true unity in the Spirit, we need to be on one accord, all with a unhindered connection to Christ. Tonight, we break down a few hindrances to true unity and expose the works of Satan in order to unite us back to God!
We serve an awesome, amazing, indescribable God! Tonight, we unpack the mystery of God's plan of redemption through Jesus Christ!
God has a specific purpose for us all. However, there can be roadblocks, or obstacles to discovering all that God has for us. Soul ties are one of those obstacles that keep us tied to who we used to be before we came to know Jesus. Tonight we look to the Word of God to expose ungodly soul ties and break free from our past and let Jesus remove every other lover from our heart once and for all!
