02-08-2026 - Back to the Basics Pt. 2 by Pastor Adam Bennett
Lead Pastor Chase preaches the final message in our unofficial series about Back to the Basics. He preaches about the primary mission and purpose of the Church.
We're continuing in our four-part sermon series called "Back to the Basics," that will refresh and reground us in some of the most important priorities in our discipleship journey: Prayer, Scripture, Confession, and Service. What does the word "confession" mean to you? Do you picture a Catholic practice...or maybe a TV cop interrogating a criminal trying to get them to admit their crime? Confession is an important aspect of the Christian life, and Pastor Kent will be leading us in exploring how it brings us healing and freedom, and draws us closer to Jesus. To learn more about us, visit www.braemarbaptist.com.
Proverbs 22:1In our fast-paced world it's easy to lose touch with the basics of life. Basics like integrity, decency, honesty, and commitment. These are not character flaws!
02-01-2026 - Back to the Basics by Pastor Adam Bennett
Today's podcast falls more into the personal development category… and it's all about the small stuff. Or not doing the small stuff. Or trying to figure out why you're so averse to doing the small stuff. From health to wealth to relationships and spirituality… Rich's message will help you identify and DO the little things.
After a brief pause in the unofficial series, Lead Pastor Chase preaches today about the basics of prayer and worship. As children of God and followers of Jesus, our role in the world is bigger than just ourselves.
We're continuing in our four-part sermon series called "Back to the Basics," that will refresh and reground us in some of the most important priorities in our discipleship journey: Prayer, Scripture, Confession, and Service. This week, Pastor Kent will be leading us as we focus on the topic of "Scripture," as we're reminded that scripture is living, active, and profitable to us. We'll also be exploring how both Jesus and scripture are referred to as "the word."To learn more about us, visit www.braemarbaptist.com.

Because we have so many new listeners, we decided to get back to the basics of long term care and LTC insurance. The best starting point is to learn current and future costs of home care, assisted living, and nursing home care. Use the cost of care website to find costs where you live at https://www.carescout.com/cost-of-care Once we understand the risk we're up against if we suffer from dementia, a stroke or a severe car accident (for example), we need to decide where we would want to live when help is needed to get through our days. We need to consider who we want to have helping us, and we need to decide how we're going to pay for this care. Listen and learn how different types of insurance plans decide when and how claims are approved or declined. Learn which kinds of plans can be tax deductible and which can be paid using HSA funds. Get your current policies and proposals out and schedule time with me to evaluate them and learn if they best meet your needs. Schedule a phone or Zoom meeting here

Preaching Point: Christ expects each of us to take the corporate pursuit of spiritual growth seriously through training that equips us to use the giftings he provides, under the leaders he appoints, to build up his church.Text: Ephesians 4:11–16 (ESV) 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
