VibeQueen gets to know Luke Wiley, an artist who is determined to make a name for himself through his dedication to his art. Locking himself in his studio, often for hours on end, he has created over 600 songs truly mastering his craft. Known for his unique melodic style and ability to stay versatile while telling his story vulnerably, Luke has grown to bring together some records that have brought great healing to his community/family (#WileyMovement) with singles such as L O N E L Y & Breathe feat. Dizzy Wright which is currently his quickest growing single. Born in Littleton, Colorado as his fathers “Jr.”, Luke Wiley has been through his fair share of childhood trauma stemming from a murderer father and alcoholism growing up. Luke was moved at 12 (from Denver) to a smaller town than what he was used to (Rapid City, SD). From here, he experienced being on own, starting at 14 with a broken family, and he witnessed drugs, alcoholism, etc. until inevitably having a baby at 17. Having his son inspired him to build a better life by sharing his story and using music to be vulnerable as his therapy.
VibeQueen gets to know Bass player, composer and educator Choby Scheufler. Born in Mexico with a Brazilian mother and a Mexican father, Choby wanted to be an actor until he started playing guitar at age 16, later on, he joined a band where he was the worst guitarist and had to play bass. (typical bassist story). One year after, his father passed away and he understood that music was what healed him. It led him to realize that he wanted to dedicate his life to music. Later on with no money or bank account or help from his family he left off to his dream college not knowing how he would pay for bills. He ended up graduating at a masters level from his dream school (had to sleep on the couch of the school because he couldn't pay Boston rent). Now he is about to release his Album Siricumbaia, it talks about human unity. We may all come from different backgrounds and places, yet at some point, we all go through similar experiences as people binding us together through common emotions. This album is him opening up telling his stories, such as losing his father, his relationship breakups, his overflowing joy of living, and more. You can follow Choby's journey on Instagram @chobybass

Music has always been a part of Ahri’s life; from her family being full of singers, and being a part of the Chicago Children's Choir for 10 years, to finally attending college to study music. While studying at NEIU, Ahri graduated with a BA in Vocal Performance and a Minor in Dance. Over the years Ahri learned to take certain elements of music and the arts to create them into her own songwriting. While in her early 20s, Ahri added another layer of talent by being a freelance Chicago model for four years. “Even though I'm a solo artist, I've always been interested in modeling. When I was younger my mom always had me participate in local fashion shows and casting calls” - AB. Some of her accomplishments while modeling has been walking in Spring 2018 NYFW for Runwayz on Fire, and being featured as a Published Model, in SapphirEmerld Magazine Spring 2018 edition. “My biggest goal in life is to inspire all creative individuals to find their life balance (physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually) while being intertwined within music and the arts. Finding the balance in life can be hard but I truly believe through prayer, meditation, self-care/love, mindful thinking combined they can help you to be aligned with yourself and the universe. To find your life balance you have to first start with your inner self and work outwards. This process is long and tedious but it's worth it because once you find yourself, you'll be able to know which opportunities are made for you”. -AB You can follow her journey on instagram at @ahribanks and stream her latest single "Insecurities" on all major streaming platforms.
