The world is a good thing created by God, but unfortunately it has been tarnished by human sin. But the good news is that God has been hard at work to fix our mess and He nows invites us to be part of the solution. In this message by our Student Pastor Nikki, we are encouraged to first surrender ourselves to God before inviting others to do the same.
A message from Easter Sunday
In this Easter message, Rev. George reflects on Christ's death and resurrection through the lens of the story of Lazarus. He highlights the "great exchange" that occurred on the cross, where Jesus took on our sins and suffering to offer us redemption and new life. Urging us to embrace this exchange and experience the fullness of life in Christ, he extends a heartfelt wish for a blessed Easter. #citamchurchonline #ChurchEveryday Get in touch with us: http://www.citam.org/ churchonline@citam.org (+254) 784 277 277 (+254) 728 221 221

A Beautiful Exchange took place on the cross, an exchange that is life changing for you. Miles unpacks the implications for us. Luke 23:32-43
Do ever have any expectation that something would not be too hard? Or you question if you heard God correctly ? Megan Nilsen, Kingdom coach and author, shares her testimony of adopting 2 children from Ethiopia with her husband. She shares the trials and difficulties they all went through and the huge help she got from an amazing counselor who pulled the gold from her. In a shocking twist, she learned that her highest calling is not motherhood, it is to be connected to Jesus. She talks how the plumbline of her identity is with Jesus. She was Christian for most of her life and had no idea that she wasn't connected with Jesus first. Megan shares the process she took and still takes to continue to be refined and transformed by the Holy Spirit. Before she can be a good mother, she first needs to be a daughter and receive God's love. As she grew in her connection with Jesus, she learned to hear His voice for her. Each one of us is different and God made us unique. Be refined, transformed, and encouraged by this powerful interview. Amazing grace gave us what we did not deserve. In his Easter message, Craig explained the divine exchange that took place as Jesus died on the cross and rose again. His finished work on the cross enables us to live free from sin and condemnation.

Week two in our Christmas Series, The Beautiful Exchange.
Week one of our Christmas Series, where we look at what we have been given in exchange for our life.
The last few weeks we have been looking at what I've called ‘beautiful exchanges' that God gives to us. We looked at beauty for ashes, life for death, hope for hopelessness, strength for weakness, and peace for anxiety. If you happened to miss any of the previous weeks, you can catch up with all our podcasts. This week we will conclude this series with Grace and Mercy for wrath and judgment. You see the Bible says that it is appointed unto man once to die, and then the judgment. We all will stand in judgment before God. The Bible says we will have to give an account of even every idle word we speak. We will be held accountable for our deeds. Here is the best news you may hear today or ever, if we have received Jesus Christ as Saviour, and have confessed that He is Lord, we are saved from the wrath of God and judgment. The blood of Christ has cleansed us from all unrighteousness! Exodus 20:6 But showing mercy and steadfast love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments. James 2:13 For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment. Grace and mercy for wrath and judgment---We all have sinned and transgressed God's Divine law. For that, we are deserving of wrath and God's righteous judgment. John 3:36 And he who believes in (has faith in, clings to, relies on) the Son has (now possesses) eternal life. But whoever disobeys (is unbelieving toward, refuses to trust in, disregards, is not subject to) the Son will never see (experience) life, but [instead] the wrath of God abides on him. [God's displeasure remains on him; His indignation hangs over him continually.
Letting go is hard but for sure life's better in His hands. Learning the art of the redemptive release sets us up for a beautiful exchange...
