I fell back in love with yoga after a minor back injury in 2022. To be exact, it happened on 2/2/22 -- and yes, I was paying attention to the sign. The sign was to slow down. To stop trying to do everything myself (as a firstborn productivity addict, that has been a hard lesson to learn). It was during Covid, I was rushing to cram in a stationary bike ride and squats before my Sanctuary community was meeting. I picked up the heavy weight, forgot to focus on form -- even though I used to be a personal trainer and group fitness instructor (great gig post-divorce: free gym membership) -- and it was putting on my leggings afterwards that I realized I couldn't move. Damn those leggings. That led to an internal breakdown and a real reckoning. I was pushing, striving, cramming, overdoing. It was yoga though, with all that stretching, physically and mentally, that brought me back to the only real truth: the present moment. This conversation with my friend Neale Donald Walsch will stretch you in the best way. Like your favorite yoga class, it might be uncomfortable for a second and then something opens. Neale shares so many expansive and honest things I've heard about God, love, forgiveness, and who you actually are. Stay with us for the close because the way he ends this one – well, I don't want to give it away – but it's worth your time. I always love hearing where you've been stretched lately, and how you're learning to trust what's on the other side of that. With so much love, Julie P.S. A 90-minute Soul-Alignment Intensive Session is absolute alchemy and exactly what it sounds like. If you're ready for a real breakthrough, I'd love to support you stretching yourself to what's possible. ✨ juliereisler.com/calendar ✨ Takeaways Your life is not about you; it's about everyone you touch. There is no absolute right or wrong; morality evolves. Love is all that matters; forgiveness is unnecessary when understood. The divine is not separate from us; we are individuation of divinity. Contrast and opposites are essential for experience and growth. In January 2019, a year before the world went slightly mad for a while, Neale and Kev started a podcast with no idea how long it would run. I mean, who would listen to this, and why would they listen? Now 2,712 days after episode 1 aired, the show has an announcement, and we wanted you to hear it from the horse's mouth, as it were. It's a timely announcement, too, as Kev takes some extended leave in his beloved Spain. On top of that, we'll be answering questions about the most useless photographic gizmos we've bought, the cameras we regretted or admired, flash (a-aahhhh), the 50mm f2 versus the 56mm f1.2, does Kev not like zooms (?), assigning recipes to dials, and Lightroom meets video editing. Email the show with your questions: click@fujicast.co.uk For links go to the showpage. We're back after a week off — blame a power outage — and we've got plenty to catch up on. Two rounds of football, two losses for very different reasons, a legend in the Hall of Fame, and a farewell to one of the greatest figures the game has ever produced. Hamish breaks down the Carlton heartbreak — a 23-point lead somehow not enough — and Amos has some explaining to do about 17 behinds. Plus, we take a moment to honour Neale Daniher and celebrate Dustin Fletcher's long-overdue induction into the AFL Hall of Fame.
It's Friday Faceoff, Nick is joined in the studio with political commentator, Lawyer and Director of Franks Ogilvie Brigitte Morten, and political commentator and former Chief of Staff to Jacinda Arden Neale Jones. Starting with the Golden Mile. The review is in, and unsurprisingly over budget. Morten and Jones share their thoughts on blowout of consultancy spend, the next steps for Courtnay Place, and the barring of Councillor Karl Tiefenbacher's vote due to a conflict of interest. The panel face off over Labour's newest policy - a $20 fare cap for public transport. Are the numbers even correct? What sort of narrative does this set for Labour? Morten and Jones clash over whether this policy will make a different for voters. Then onto the revelation KiwiRail stalled system upgrades for the Wellington train networks due to funding. Nick and the panel debate where the priorities lie in terms of government spending and campaigning. Also on the agenda is the controversy of Superintendent and Labour candidate Rakesh Naidoo. Has Police Commissioner Richard Chambers made the situation too political and publicised? Plus, Monday's state of emergency for the coast, how do we get Wellingtonians not in the affected area to not overreact? Should coward punch law changes go harder? Is TOP the party to watch? And the panel give us their hot and nots. LISTEN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

For 82 years, Neale Donald Walsch has been asking the same question his readers bring to his books: is there more going on here than meets the eye? The New York Times bestselling author of Conversations with God — a book that found 5 million readers after a publisher called it fiction — has distilled a lifetime of spiritual exploration into 21 short letters in his latest work, Letters to a Young Seeker. On paper, Neale has had it all: bestsellers, lectures to thousands, a life-altering dialogue with God. He has also had seven marriages, nine children, and a cardiac condition that means he can no longer drive. He is not his book. He will say that himself. In this conversation, Celinne and Neale explore why most of us have it all wrong about who we are — the difference between ego and soul, why understanding is more powerful than forgiveness, and what shifts when you stop seeking and become the source. Conversations with God is a book Celinne has recommended to every client she has ever worked with, and that history lives in this conversation. ON THIS EPISODE: 09:15 Hear Neale share the origin of Conversations with God -- the dare to a publisher that found 5 million readers 15:45 Discover why Neale says we're not here to learn -- we're here to remember who we already are 24:30 Explore the WHO Meditation: how to ask "who do I choose to be?" in any moment of pressure 31:00 Understand the difference between Be-Do-Have and the backwards way most high-achievers operate 43:00 Learn how to tell the difference between ego and soul -- and why the soul always points toward freedom, joy, and love 59:00 Examine why understanding replaces forgiveness in the mind of the master -- and what that actually means in difficult relationships 01:14:00 Receive the final awareness: stop being a seeker, be the source, and discover how resourceful you already are KEY IDEAS:
Kev and Neale suddenly discover that their little ones have grown into adults! This week on the show, does using AI to cull pictures work? Can it possibly be as good as living, breathing beings making choices? Also, how many images do/should clients expect to receive from a shoot, charging for event photography when starting out, insurance and 'part-time' websites. Neale finds out we still have merch; have you bought a show mug yet? What would be a good compact-sized camera to beat those darned festival rules that say 'NO CAMERAS!' The link between leaf shutters and flash, and how good is that X100 internal flash? How about adding the different wide and tele conversion lenses to your X100 system? Just how good are they? And then, steady yourself, we find ourselves trying to help someone face the dilemma of moving on from Fujifilm! Email the show with your questions: click@fujicast.co.uk For links go to the showpage. Ann Neale and Brian Neale are the husband and wife team behind the Smoke Freaks competition barbecue team. Ann aka Ms. Freak and Brian aka Mr. Freak got hooked on competition BBQ at their first backyard contest in 2014. As per their website, "After entering with the hastily conjured name “Smoking Freaks,” a couple of beat-up WSMs and expectations no greater than having a good time, they ended up taking 1st place in Ribs. At the awards ceremony, they were mistakenly identified as “Smoke Freaks,” and the name stuck. Since then, Smoke Freaks have been on a mission to spread their love of BBQ and their passion for living life to the fullest with the world." They are complete cooks, but ribs are an area of expertise and they provide us with excellent tips for cooking better ribs.
