Do you believe God talks with you? In fact, God is never not talking with you!Depending on your background, beliefs, and point of view, this might sound crazy. If you're actively involved in any of the 4,223 religions currently practiced around the world today, the elders of whatever your formal congregation is called will probably say you ARE crazy. They might also call you a sinner, a heretic, a blasphemer, or worse.So imagine a man who'd seemingly had it all going for him. He was a former radio broadcaster who then made a name for himself as a newspaper reporter, rising to managing editor of a weekly newspaper in Annapolis, MD. He made good money. He had a wife and kids. Everything was fine – more than fine. But one day his wife decided she wanted a divorce. It was amicable, but still difficult. Five days after the end of his marriage, he was downsized out of his job. His boss gave him a glowing recommendation though and he was off to another job interview faster than it took to brew some coffee… and on the way there he got in a car accident that broke his neck and left him lucky to be alive.After he got out of the hospital, the job interviews kept coming, but nobody would hire him. Like it or not, he was told, that neck brace he was wearing scared employers because if anything happened to him while he was at work, they'd be paying his medical bills for the next five years. He lost his apartment because he couldn't come up with rent money. He ended up living on the street for a year. Moving back in with his ex-wife even temporarily was out of the question – fair enough – but she wouldn't even let him come in the house. He had to visit the kids in the garage.Fine is a 4-Letter Word, indeed.Well, eventually he found some work and was able to rent a tiny studio apartment. This man, who had grown up religious, woke up at 4:23 one morning and wrote an angry letter on a yellow notepad to God, asking in essence, “What do I have to do to make it in the game of life?”Then he heard a voice… God answered. (Or was that God?)For Neale Donald Walsch, that was a good question. But then these conversations became a regular thing. He was writing, or channeling, everything he heard. Eventually, God told him he would publish his writings, and the answers, as a book. Neale's publisher told him it would never sell 500 copies since nobody would believe God spoke directly to anyone who wasn't a pope, patriarch, preacher, rabbi, or imam. Turns out, his publisher was right – it didn't sell 500 copies. It sold FIVE MILLION. Conversations with God, Book 1 was published in 1995 and I'm pretty sure I have one of the first copies, which I devoured cover to cover. It all made so much sense to me. But back then, and even up until a couple months ago, I would never have imagined having an hour-long conversation with Neale. But now that I have, you don't have to imagine it either. Her section on the Twin Flame Universe was incredibly interesting. We reached out to the Twin Flame Universe for comment, and we just wanted to share their responses to some of the issues raised. Jeff and Shaleia want to make it clear that they do not condone or encourage any illegal behaviour and have said that there have never been any criminal charges or evidence of criminal wrongdoing against Twin Flames Universe, Jeff and/or Shaleia. In response to the suggestion that the TFU encourages stalking and harassment, they told us that they communicate frequently in Twin Flame Ascension School about the importance of having personal boundaries and honouring the boundaries of others however, they have said they cannot control the actions of others. In response to the allegation that treatment at the TFU culminated in a former member taking their own life, they said that this was suggestion was incorrect. They said a member of the public who was already under medical care registered online for a free consultation with the Mind Alignment Process (MAP) - a separate company also owned by Jeff Divine - but never attended it. Sadly, this individual later died by suicide. MAP practitioners make it clear they are not medical professionals, and their services are not a substitute for therapy or medical care.On the allegation that The TFU encourages members to transition into a different gender they told us that they never encourage any of their members to partake in any discussions or decisions that they are not comfortable with or that are not directly expressed by the students themselves. Bobby Kennedy was going to support MLK with his Presidency of the USA. This powerful duo was a threat to the CIA. Jim feels wanting to end the Vietnam War and wanting to help the repressed American people sealed MLK's fate. When RFK let the attendees in Indianapolis know about MLK's murder, he begged them not to riot. Indianapolis was the only major American city that didn't go up in flames that night. The only loss Bobby had before winning the California primary was in Oregon. Cesar Estrada Chavez helped RFK secure the win in California against McCarthy. Bobby closed his speech on June 5, 1968 with "On to Chicago, let's win there!" before being murdered. Ambassador Hotel bus boy, Juan Romero, held RFK after he was shot in the head, putting his rosary in Bobby's hands. Although Jim hates the Dulles, Angleton etc. he appreciates their technical plans to eliminate their opponents. Lillian Castellano was the first person to add up the bullet holes and wounds, realizing more than 10 bullets were shot. This information was first published in the underground paper Los Angeles Free Press on May 23, 1969. Sirhan's gun only held 8 bullets. There was a SECOND GUN firing in the kitchen pantry of the Ambassador Hotel. Sirhan Sirhan was a PATSY! Just like Oswald, James Earl Ray etc.. Robert Kennedy's autopsy was performed by coroner Dr. Thomas T. Noguchi. Noguchi's findings did not uphold the deep state's fairy tale that Sirhan had murdered Robert Kennedy. Bill Harper wrote a 7 page affidavit stating all of the bullets that hit RFK were shot from below and behind RFK. Sirhan was NEVER behind RFK, making it impossible that he was the assassin who shot RFK. Fernando Faura, reporter for the Hollywood Citizen's News, helped bring the RFK case out of the shadows. Col. Als Elissa Hiersemann Lael Neale 2021 für ihre radioeins-Sendung "Swagga" interviewte, traf sie auf einen bekennenden "Morgenmenschen", der dem aktuellen Albumtitel "Acquainted With Night" gemäß gerade Bekanntschaft mit der Nacht gemacht beziehungsweise diese musikalisch verarbeitet hatte – und das auf äußerst einnehmende Weise. Auch kamen der Künstlerin Liebe zur Naturprosa von Dichtern wie Rainer Maria Rilke oder Rumi sowie die besondere Bedeutung des Omnichords für die Musik der aus dem ländlichen Virginia stammenden Neale zur Sprache. Jenes in der Pop-Welt eher seltene elektronische Instrument ist auch auf "Altogether Stranger" zu hören, dem vor wenigen Tagen veröffentlichten neuen, vierten Album unseres heutigen studioeins-Gastes. Dieses wurde inspiriert vom Gefühl der Fremdheit, das Lael beschlich, als sie in ihre Wahlheimat Los Angeles zurückkehrte, die sie 2020 zu Beginn der Corona-Pandemie verlassen hatte. In neun unaufgeregten, aber alles andere als belanglosen Songs mit einfallsreichen, klugen Texten erzählt sie aus der Außenseiter-Perspektive eines "Alien" von der Sonderbarkeit des menschlichen Alltagsdaseins. Für die musikalische Umsetzung zwischen Garagen-Pop, "Omnichord-Meditationen" und minimalistischen New Wave-Sounds, bei der pluckernde und zischelnde antiquierte Drum-Machines im Wechsel mit Schellenkränzen den Takt vorgeben, setzt Neale ganz auf eine Lo-Fi-Ästhetik, in die sich das Grundrauschen der Natur immer mal wieder durch alte Gitarrenverstärker hineinzuschleichen scheint und die den idealen Rahmen für ihre zugleich zurückhaltend zarte wie ausdrucksstarke Stimme und wirkungsvollen, gerne verspielten Gesangsmelodien bildet. Am 21. Mai gibt Lael Neale in der Kantine am Berghain ein Konzert, einen kleinen Vorgeschmack bekommen wir bereits heute Abend im studioeins, wo sie einige Songs auf der kleinen Bühne live spielen wird, nachdem sie sich im Interview vorgestellt hat.

Lael Neale's fourth album Altogether Stranger released on May 2nd, and oh boy is it a beautiful body of work. Elle spoke to Neale about the production of the album with her partner Guy Blakeslee at their home studio, the process that goes into writing her lyrics and her love of the omnichord. Highly likely that this is Elle's album of the year.
