In this powerful follow-up to “Pentecost: The Forgotten Moment,” we shift our focus from the event to the people—those who responded with obedience, and those who didn't. Out of 500 who saw the resurrected Jesus, only 120 waited, prayed, and obeyed. These were the Remnant. This week's message challenges us to evaluate: Are we part of the 120, or are we clinging to comfort like the 380? Discover what it means to be a faithful, obedient remnant in today's culture. Learn to let go of the ropes, say yes to God's call, and pursue the fullness of the Spirit that was launched at Pentecost. It's not about numbers—it's about obedience.
Are we watching Bible prophecy unfold before our very eyes? Or are the nations following a script designed to mimic the End Times? As bombs rain down between Israel and Iran, the world watches in slumber — desensitized, distracted, and deceived. In this message, I reveal the real identity of Mystery Babylon, using clear scripture that points to modern-day Israel as the “Great City” spoken of in Revelation. We are witnessing fire from heaven, peace deals on the horizon, and a global stage set for the abomination of desolation.
On this episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, I explain why I've shifted to a neutral stance on the Israel-Iran conflict. While mainstream media pressures us to “pick a side,” Scripture tells a deeper story, one that's not bound by modern borders or politics.Christians are the true Israel, not by race or nation, but by faith in Christ. The Church is the chosen people of God, not a geopolitical state. So why are we being told that standing with the a government equals standing with God?We'll unpack the phrase “Judeo-Christian”—what it really means (and what it doesn't)—and discuss how religiously manipulative narratives can cloud our judgment. Supporting everything any group does (whether Jewish, Christian, or Muslim) is not biblical discernment. It's idolatry.None of us are perfect. Not every Christian represents Christ well, and not every Jew or Muslim represents their faith's ideals either. So let's step back, seek the truth, and refuse to be emotionally blackmailed into blind allegiance.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee

The Weight of The Remnant Being a part of God's end time army means you are part of His remnant! Your refusal to the world's mold is because of your commitment to remain loyal to Jesus. He delights in your weighty “Yes” to Him, in your continual, costly “Yes” to Him. Remnant: • Those who remain loyal to our Lord, despite hardship, persecution and the great falling away. • Those who remain in unwavering commitment to the Word of God. • Those whose lives influence others and bring restoration to the lost. • Those who depend on the grace and mercy of God while holding firm to our God given authority. Elijah felt alone, discouraged and in full despair when the Lord spoke to him and comforted him in knowing that he was not alone. That there were 7,000 preserved, who remained faithful to God, who did not bow their knee to Baal. Why was this great man of God so discouraged? He had won many battles for the Lord. He stood strong, but he was getting battle weary. Was it just exhaustion or was there more to it? Elijah had killed the prophets of Baal in 1 Kings 18:40, and then Jezebel sent a curse/principality that almost took his life.1 Kings 19:1-4 Know your prayer assignments! Hear His voice! Don't to what the Lord has not instructed you to do, regardless of how noble it may sound. Elijah was obedient to God, but he still needed to discern and rise above the attack of discouragement which was sent against him. Instead, he ran and hid in a cave, and the Lord told him to anoint Elisha, IN HIS PLACE. The spirit Jezebel sent did not kill him, but it killed his calling. Was his season over or was it cut short? May the remnant arise and not only stand in the battle against idolatry and rebellion, which is rampant in this generation, but stand your ground against the emotional assignments sent to remove you from your God given post! Jonah Goldberg has realized that, if you name drop Leo Strauss enough, you're eventually going to have to explain who you're talking about. As the benevolent educator of The Remnant masses, Jonah has conspired with Steven Smith, a Straussian expert and professor of political science and philosophy at Yale University, to deliver this deep dive on the life and work of Leo Strauss. Jonah and Steven dig into the fundamentals of Strauss' work, the debate between the East Coast and West Coast Straussians, the value and potential in fusionism, and Harry Jaffa's various quirks. A reminder that God loves His people. Even when they rebel, He steps back for a while, gives them what they want, and waits for them to see the results of their decisions and actions, and cry out in repentance. When they do, in an instant, He rushes in to save them. He did it for Israel time and time again and He still does this. There is redemption. There will always be a remnant. You can still be part of it.

How does God enact change when the mainstream seems lost? In this episode, we explore Chapter 3 of Richard Rohr's The Tears of Things: Prophetic Wisdom for an Age of Outrage, "A Critical Mass: The Secret of the Remnant." After our conversation with Richard about God's work from the edges, we're joined by Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis, pastor, author, and host of our sister podcast Love Period. Rev. Jaqui helps us explore what it means to embody the remnant today through fierce love, fierce freedom, and the call to un-empire Christianity. Additionally, this conversation helps us to recognize God's work in unexpected places, the prophetic call to anti-scapegoating, finding the "7,000" others, and how the small-but-mighty actions of the remnant can become a catalyst for transformation. Resources: The transcript for this episode can be found here.
