The Biblical Teacher: Why the Church Desperately Needs Sound Doctrine – Foundational Issues Part 7 | KIB 541 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Description Welcome to Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Episode 541 with Dr. Michael Lake and Mary Lou Lake. What does Scripture teach about the biblical office of the teacher? Why is sound doctrine so critical in an age of deception, AI, and increasing spiritual confusion? In this episode, Dr. Michael Lake continues the Fivefold Ministry series by examining the biblical calling, character, and responsibilities of God's teachers. Drawing from the ministries of Jesus, Ezra, Apollos, Timothy, and the Apostle Paul, this teaching reveals that biblical teachers are called to do far more than transfer information—they are commissioned to bring believers into spiritual maturity through faithful exposition of God's Word. Mary Lou opens the program with a timely discussion on overcoming spiritual strongholds, breaking ungodly influences, and remaining firmly established in Christ rather than the counterfeit systems of the world. Together they examine the importance of discernment, the dangers of occult influence, the proper use of technology, and why believers must continually renew their minds with Scripture. If you desire to grow deeper in God's Word and develop biblical discernment for the days ahead, this teaching will provide a strong scriptural foundation. In this episode, you'll discover: · The biblical office of the teacher · Why Jesus was called "Teacher" more than any other title · The responsibilities of a biblical teacher · The difference between information and transformation · Why sound doctrine protects the Church · The importance of study, obedience, and faithful teaching · How false teaching spreads in the last days · Biblical principles for evaluating AI and modern technology · Why discernment is essential for every believer · How teachers help equip the Body of Christ for spiritual maturity

The Biblical Pastor: God's Shepherd vs. the Modern Hireling: Foundational Issues 6 | KIB 540 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Description Welcome to Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Episode 540 with Dr. Michael Lake and Mary Lou Lake. What does Scripture actually teach about the office of the pastor? In today's church culture, many believers have inherited traditions that differ greatly from the biblical model of shepherding. In this message, Dr. Michael Lake continues the Fivefold Ministry series by examining the character, responsibilities, and calling of the biblical pastor through the lens of both the Old and New Testaments. Drawing from the teachings of Jesus, the Apostle Paul, Peter, and the biblical imagery of the Good Shepherd, this episode explains why pastors are called to protect, feed, disciple, and care for God's people—not build personal platforms or entertainment-driven ministries. Mary Lou also shares a timely exhortation concerning America's spiritual condition, the necessity of the fear of the Lord, and why she believes God is preparing His people for a great deliverance from modern Babylonian bondage. If you desire a deeper understanding of biblical leadership, spiritual maturity, and Christ-centered discipleship, this teaching will challenge and encourage you. In this episode, you'll discover: The biblical definition of a pastor The difference between a shepherd and a hireling Why pastors must protect the flock from deception The biblical qualifications for pastoral ministry Why pastors must become students of God's Word The importance of discipleship over entertainment How the Fivefold Ministry works together The responsibility of pastors to pray, teach, restore, and equip believers Why biblical shepherds are desperately needed in the last days Encouragement for faithful pastors serving quietly and sacrificially
Jonah Goldberg has been chewing over how to reduce the number of gray hairs in Congress for some time now. Unfortunately, the best that he and The Remnant team have come up with is shaving the heads of all the senior senators, which, seeming somewhat impractical, led Jonah to call in an expert. Science correspondent and longtime friend of the show Ronald Bailey joins the merry band today to set us all straight on RFK Jr., vaccines, MAHA, DOGE, libertarianism, bad analogies for government, transhumanism, gerontocracy, term limits, libertarian Shangri-La, Francis Fukuyama, institutions, economic growth, Thomas Jefferson, invention, and Benjamin Franklin. 2026 - July 19“The Essentials” is a journey through the book of Romans, where the Apostle Paul lays out the core truths of the Christian faith. In this letter, we discover who God is, what He has done through Jesus Christ, and what that means for us. Romans shows us the reality of our sin, the depth of God's grace, and the life-changing truth that salvation is not earned but received; a free gift through faith. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us, making a way for both broken people and searching hearts to be made right with God. This series will walk through the essentials of the gospel and what it means to truly live in light of it. Longtime listeners of The Remnant know well Jonah Goldberg's hatred of the extremist, oligarchic, necromantic political conclaves holding our nation hostage, otherwise known as primaries. Nonetheless, listeners are left with many questions unanswered: How did populists seize the GOP in 2016? What should replace primaries for candidate selection? What will go down in 2028? Will Yuval Levin be on the ticket? Here to put an end to all speculation is political scientist Seth Masket, who joins Jonah to talk about the Tea Party, Donald Trump's charisma, Bill Clinton as a precursor to Trump, primaries, county-scale politics, party leadership, democratization, conventions, Trump's influence over 2028, the next GOP presidential candidate, J.D. True Prophets vs. False Prophets: The Biblical Test the Church Has Forgotten | KIB 538 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Description Welcome to Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Episode 538 with Dr. Michael Lake and Mary Lou Lake. How does Scripture distinguish between a true prophet and a false prophet? In an age filled with competing prophetic voices, sensational claims, and growing deception, believers must return to the biblical standard. In this teaching, Dr. Lake examines the lives of the Old Testament prophets to demonstrate that God's primary qualification for prophetic ministry has never been giftedness—it has always been godly character. From Moses and Samuel to Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Elijah, Daniel, and John the Baptist, the biblical pattern reveals prophets who were first transformed by God's holiness before they proclaimed His message. This episode also exposes the defining characteristics of false prophets found throughout Scripture and explains why discernment is becoming increasingly essential as we approach the return of Christ. Mary Lou Lake begins with important prayer updates regarding upcoming occult calendar dates and shares insights into spiritual warfare, intercession, and the importance of guarding our minds in an increasingly technological age. If you desire biblical discernment, covenant faithfulness, and a deeper understanding of God's prophetic ministry, this episode will provide a solid scriptural foundation. In this episode, you'll learn: The biblical qualifications of a true prophet Why character matters more than supernatural gifts Fifteen characteristics of God's prophets Fifteen characteristics of false prophets The difference between the Gift of Prophecy and the Office of Prophet Why holiness always precedes proclamation The danger of mixing truth with error Why modern prophetic movements must be tested by Scripture How covenant faithfulness defines authentic prophetic ministry Why discernment is essential in the last days

A @Christadelphians Video:What a thought-provoking and revealing journey this is! In this outstanding expositional study, we (your Christadelphian brothers and sisters) delve into the life of Obed Edom—a often-overlooked character whose story holds wonderful encouragement for every believer. Was he a Levite? Or a Gentile Philistine? The answer changes everything.Brother Roger Lewis masterfully unpacks 1 Chronicles 13, tracing the ark's journey from disaster at Uzzah's breach to divine blessing in Obed Edom's house. We explore how his attitude of reverence, not mere ceremony, drew Yahweh's favour. Most insightful of all, we see how this Gentile “Gittite” became a trusted porter before the ark—and how his family grew to supply 62 of the 93 temple gatekeepers! This isn't just history; it's a powerful prophecy of Gentiles being grafted into Israel's hope (Amos 9, Acts 15). Principle of the Bondservant: Kingdom Activation of Remnant Ministries Series Part 2 | KIB536 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Description The Bondservant: The Missing Foundation of End-Time Ministry In this powerful episode of the Kingdom Intelligence Briefing, Dr. Michael and Mary Lou Lake continue laying the foundation for authentic remnant ministry in the last days. Before God can release believers into greater Kingdom assignments, foundational issues must be addressed—including healing from rejection, overcoming feelings of worthlessness, understanding our identity in Christ, and embracing the biblical principle of the bondservant. Mary Lou shares deeply personal insights regarding healing from trauma, overcoming lies spoken over her life, and discovering her true worth through the Word of God. She provides practical biblical keys for breaking free from rejection, shame, and fear of man. Dr. Lake then explores the often-forgotten biblical concept of the bondservant, revealing why every genuine ministry calling must begin with complete surrender to Christ. Drawing from Scripture, he explains the accountability believers have before God, the dangers of self-centered ministry, and why the remnant must remain faithful to the voice of the Master rather than the pressures of culture. As the days ahead grow increasingly challenging, God is preparing a people who know their identity, understand their authority, and are committed to serving King Jesus above all else. What Does It REALLY Mean to Believe? - Covenant Faith, the Remnant & Going Deeper with God | KWR0061 Description What does it actually mean to believe in Jesus Christ? In this powerful episode of the Kingdom War Room, Dr. Michael Lake, Dr. Mike Spaulding, and Pastor Corby Shuey tackle one of the most misunderstood words in modern Christianity: belief. Starting with an exegetical study of John 3:16 from the original Greek, the discussion quickly expands into the nature of biblical faith, covenant fidelity, discipleship, repentance, and the dangerous rise of easy-believism within the modern church. The panel examines the difference between intellectual agreement and covenant commitment, why many churches have abandoned true discipleship for entertainment, and how the Holy Spirit is calling the Remnant into deeper levels of spiritual maturity and biblical literacy in these last days. Topics include the Hebrew understanding of faith, the restoration of the image of God in believers, the importance of divine visitations, biblical authority, discipleship, the dangers of pagan influence in Christianity, and practical ways believers can begin going deeper in the Word of God. This is a challenging and encouraging conversation for believers who are serious about walking in covenant faithfulness and preparing for the days ahead. In This Episode ✔ What the Greek word for "believe" really means in John 3:16 ✔ Why easy-believism is producing weak Christianity ✔ The difference between biblical faith and intellectual agreement ✔ Covenant fidelity versus cultural Christianity ✔ Why James said faith without works is dead ✔ The restoration of the image of God in the believer ✔ The dangers of pagan influences in the modern church ✔ Divine visitations and genuine encounters with God ✔ The need for biblical literacy in the last days ✔ Why the Remnant must go deeper in Scripture ✔ The role of discipleship and spiritual maturity ✔ Practical tools for studying the Bible more effectively Support the Ministry Your faithful prayers and support help us continue equipping the Remnant around the world with biblical teaching, spiritual warfare training, and Kingdom preparation for the days ahead. Kingdom Activation of Remnant Ministry – Foundational Issues Part 1 | KIB 535 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Description Are you ready for what God is about to release in the earth? In this powerful episode of the Kingdom Intelligence Briefing, Dr. Michael and Mary Lou Lake explore the spiritual preparation necessary for the activation of remnant ministry in the last days. As darkness increases and many believers struggle with discouragement and hopelessness, God is calling His people to deeper faith, greater endurance, and unwavering covenant fidelity. Mary Lou begins by addressing the enemy's strategy to attack God's calling on your life from the very beginning. She shares biblical encouragement for overcoming hopelessness and maintaining confidence in God's promises even during seasons of tribulation. Dr. Lake then dives deep into the biblical meaning of belief, revealing that true faith is far more than a one-time decision. Through an examination of John 3:16, Abraham's journey of faith, and the teachings of the New Testament, he demonstrates that genuine belief produces transformation, endurance, obedience, and spiritual maturity. This episode also examines: The difference between easy-believism and biblical faith Why God is preparing remnant believers for Kingdom assignments The necessity of covenant faithfulness in the last days How Babylonian systems have distorted ministry models The importance of returning to the biblical patterns found in the Book of Acts Why believers must develop spiritual discernment in an age of deception and AI-driven confusion The transition from being servants of God to becoming His trusted friends As God begins activating His remnant, it is crucial that believers build their lives upon biblical foundations rather than worldly systems. Sometimes, when we're reading the Bible, we'll come across a commandment that we don't like, and say, “Oh, that passage doesn't apply to me anymore!” However, Pastor Ken teaches us today that the guidelines outlined in God's Word are just as relevant to us today as they were years ago. We aren't just supposed to throw out the Old Testament once we have the New; we are meant to read them in conjunction, and understand from their pages how the Lord wants us to live for and serve Jesus.

If you've followed Jesus for a long time, you've probably noticed some people who are habitual evildoers. Not only are they openly living in sin, but they are harming others with their evil actions. Well, Pastor Ken teaches you today that God is aware of those who delight in their wickedness, and he reminds you that justice isn't far away! When God judges the living and the dead, He will separate the good from the bad, casting out all of those who refused His gift of salvation. God will have the final word!
Have you ever felt unqualified for what God was asking you to do? When we picture the remnant rising in the last days, we often imagine fearless warriors who never doubt, never hesitate, and never struggle. But Scripture tells a different story. Moses argued. Gideon doubted. Ananias hesitated. Peter wrestled with obedience. Yet God used each of them powerfully. In this episode, Tracy shares a personal story about reluctantly stepping into a ministry role she felt completely unprepared for—and the surprising lesson God taught her about weakness, obedience, and trusting Him despite fear. If you've ever wondered whether you're qualified, gifted enough, or ready for what God has called you to do, this message is for you. You were not called because you are fearless. You were called because He is faithful. _____ This podcast is listener-supported. Before they get to the business of insurance and estate planning, the two cover a lot of ground: the culture shock of living overseas, why the right has lost the moral high ground on insider trading, how cheap drones are quietly dismantling the aircraft carrier model, and the retention crisis brewing across the military. Then they bring it home to what matters most for the Remnant audience, the hard financial lessons that hit different when you are sitting in a war zone with an unfunded trust. Brian admits his own trust is not properly funded, and now, deployed and off the grid, he cannot fix it. Funding the trust is the step everyone pushes to "next Friday" until life makes it impossible.Your life insurance living benefits only help your family if they know how to use it. Both Hans and Brian confess their wives have never been walked through the mechanics of taking a policy loan. Knowing what a policy loan is and knowing which buttons to click are two very different things.Prepare your spouse to be a widow before you think you need to. Nelson Nash did this late in life. The point stands at any age: your spouse should know where the documents are, how the system works, and what to do in an emergency, long before that emergency arrives.Run the drill while the stakes are low. Kill the main breaker for 72 hours and find the holes in your family's preparedness before a real crisis exposes them. The same logic applies financially: have your spouse take the next policy loan so the knowledge is real, not theoretical.
X2M.249 Prévoyance — The Remnant and the Secret Place Series: CR20 Place De La Concorde Psalm 30 opens the gate: sorrow in the night, joy in the morning, lament turned into dancing. The Lord does not merely rescue from the pit — He restores the song after the silence.¹ Micah 5 sets the battlefield: the daughter is surrounded, the ruler is struck, the city is besieged, and Bethlehem appears too small to matter.² Yet this is where the King emerges. This is **Prévoyance**: To see provision before it appears. To prepare before vindication manifests. To enter rest while still surrounded by siege. To stand in holy agreement before the promise becomes visible. In **Place De La Concorde** architecture, X2M.249 is the foresight event. The remnant learns to hold the square before deliverance arrives. The old head of fear is removed; the true Head installs peace, order, and covenantal sight in the heart. The siege is real. Supply is pressured. Provision is threatened. The enemy whispers scarcity, insult, displacement, and fear. But the Lord is not absent from pressure. He is forming a people who can stand inside it without being defined by it.³ Hannah teaches the first motion of Prévoyance. She moves from barrenness to birth, from affliction to praise, from longing for the promise to offering the promise back to God.⁴ “My heart rejoices in the Lord.” “My horn is exalted in the Lord.” “There is no rock like our God.” This is prophetic equilibrium: praise before proof. Mary completes the arc. Her Magnificat carries Hannah's song into incarnation. The humble servant becomes the womb of fulfillment. The seed promised to Abraham takes on flesh.⁵ This is the remnant pattern: The seed falls. The stump remains. The branch emerges. The Spirit rests. The scattered are gathered. Praise launches inheritance into fruitfulness.⁶ Prévoyance is not prediction. It is Spirit-formed foresight — preparation for what God has spoken before the visible realm supplies evidence.⁷ That is why the secret place becomes central. Psalm 91 is not escape language. It is combat architecture. The one who dwells in the secret place abides under the shadow of El Shaddai. The remnant learns war not first by striving, but by abiding.⁸ Joshua remains in the tent after Moses leaves. He is formed in presence before he is entrusted with the land. The armies of darkness may surround. The siege may appear complete. But the remnant does not measure reality by the enemy's circumference. It stands in agreement. It waits in peace. It holds the square until the King's order becomes visible. Glorification | The Final Frontier Going boldly where the last man has gone before! Biblical Preparation for Troubled Times: How the Remnant Must Prepare for the Days Ahead | KIB 534 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Description The world is becoming increasingly unstable. Economic uncertainty, spiritual deception, cultural collapse, technological control systems, and growing hostility toward biblical truth are creating unprecedented challenges for believers. In this powerful episode of the Kingdom Intelligence Briefing, Dr. Michael and Mary Lou Lake explore what Scripture teaches about preparing for troubled times. Rather than promoting fear, they reveal the biblical pattern found throughout God's Word: God warns, God prepares, and God preserves a faithful remnant. Drawing from the lives of Noah, Joseph, Elijah, and the early Church, Dr. Lake examines how believers must prepare spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and practically for the days ahead. This episode also addresses discernment, covenant faithfulness, hearing the voice of God, strengthening the inner man, resisting deception, and learning how to walk in kingdom authority during turbulent times. The question is not whether difficult times will come. The question is whether God's people will be prepared when they arrive. If you desire to become part of the remnant that remains faithful, fruitful, and victorious in the last days, this teaching is for you. For nearly three decades, Jonah Goldberg has rightly abused Canada for its many crimes: its adoption of the metric system, slanderous contentions about bacon, and dubious claim to Machias Seal Island, to name a few. Recent events have put Jonah in a more conciliatory mood, however, and he has resolved to bring more of our northern neighbors on the show. Today's token Canadian, Michael R.J. Bonner, joins The Remnant to talk about his recent book on liberalism. Michael and Jonah run the gamut, talking about Steven Pinkerism, liberalism's virgin birth, Cold War liberalism, the Rawlsian turn, postliberal criticisms, subsidiarity, modern progressivism, John Stuart Mill, the religion of humanity, left-wing violence, third worldism, Justin Trudeau's lack of self-understanding, and the war in Iran. With the wife out of the house and the hounds egging him on, Jonah Goldberg is hyped up on 5-Hour Energy and ready to talk for four hours straight about 1930s isolationism. However, understanding that some of our dear listeners lack the constitution for such a strenuous journey, our talented sound editors have reduced Jonah's rumination to a more digestible size. Join Jonah as he skips through America the Sandwich, Trump's slush fund, impeachment, the control-f presidency, whataboutism, John T. Flynn, antisemitism, Charles Lindbergh, the women's history museum, channel surfing, The Walking Dead, the broken windows theory, and the decline of late-night television.
