Please welcome as special guest this week one of the hottest producer of the moment, Juany Bravo. Over the last few years, Juany Bravo has seen Beatport chart-topping releases on labels such as Saved Records, Kittball Records, Toolroom Records, Cr2, Stealth Records, Lapsus Music, Go Deeva Records, In The Loop Recordings, Sleazy G, Audiophile XXL, Dopewax Records, and Shanghaied, while scoring support from major musical taste makers and blogs, such as Mark Knight, Tube & Berger, Nic Fanciulli, Roger Sanchez, and Kenny Dope, to name a few. His EP, Puro Latino [Stealth], saw an incredibly fast rise up the charts, and climbed to the #3 spot on the Beatport Top 100 House Releases chart in January 2020, while his releases on Kitball and Saved Records both reached the top 15 on the Afro House Top 100 singles chart on Beatport (#10 & #13). Having spent some time in Europe playing in cities such as Barcelona, Brussels, Antwerp, Berlin and Ibiza, Bravo then found himself in the thick of the thriving Bangkok underground scene. His presence and sounds were felt at some of the region's best clubs and pool parties, as well as the Toolroom Arena at Together Festival 2018, and playing one of Asia's most coveted underground parties, Jungle Experience Koh Phangan. He's also had the opportunity to be direct support for Technasia (Glow 2018), Nic Fanciulli (Glow 2019), and Sven Vath at Illuzion Phuket (2018 and 2019). His unique style, and sets, have positioned him as one of the key players, and most promising talents in the underground scene; while the demand for his sound has seen him play all around the world, as well as Kolour In The Park, one of Thailand's top festival destinations, and twice at the famous elrow parties in 2019. We did it! Segment: Hugh’s product was this stunning real turquoise tile. Judy’s product was this clever product for back-lighting more translucent stones such as onyx using a product like these LED tiles. During the show Shylo’s product was the in/undercounter cell phone charger.  This is very new technology (look for it to get more and more popular this coming year).  Here is one example from Federal Brace. Also during the show, Shylo & Judy mentioned how cool they thought it could be in a multiple cook house to have multiple induction burners placed strategically around the kitchen instead of in just one fixed location; like this Wolf Induction Module (yes, that's WOLF's 2-burner induction, not Sub-Zero's oops!) and for even more flexibility a couple of portable induction burners.   'From the drafting table' Segment: We'll check in with you next time Hugh  LOL Rough sketch/drawings to come!!  We'll give updates on these projects as we have them. Maitreya Rajurkar a.k.a Midland Sparks is the face of and one half of Pune based DJ duo; Tripshot Crew. An independent project started with the aim of exploring untraditional, modern day bass music that has influenced him so greatly and shaped the release of his excellent debut EP ‘Rundrum’ last year. Keeping this in mind, it's no surpirse that Rajurkar explores a wide range of genres within this project - all that fall under the vast umbrella of latter day bass. His impeccable mix proves this, by showcasing everything from hip-hop and trap to drum n’ bass and footwork - curated and arranged for discerning listeners with a meticulousness that true devotees of modern electronica will immediately recognise. The mix begins on a high note with a Nicolas Jaar retake on Shlohmo’s ‘Rained The Whole Time’, keeping energy levels right up there with that sublime combination of hip-hop instrumentation and bass in acts like DZA and the incredible Romare, which make appearances in its first half. The latter half of the exclusive mix gets heavy on wubby dubstep, dark dancefloor and pulsing bass drums (particularly in Moresounds ‘Blood’). He represents homegrown talent with SickFlips’ ‘Chamshen’ and of course, generously injects the dance friendly sounds of Midland Sparks into the mix. His collaborative track with Blent (check out his mix for us here) ‘Hinder’ is particularly impressive and blends in seamlessly with the esteemed lot it’s surrounded by. Hän keräsi Facebook-sivunsa kauttaa vaatteita, vilttejä ja muuta tarpeellista kadulla kerjääville ihmisille - Äidinkielenopetus tehdään edelleen monin paikoin hankalaksi. Malmössä Rörsjön koulun ekaluokkalaiset Adel, Hilma, Millie ja Nelly kävelevät joka tiistai-iltapäivä lähes kaksi kilometriä toiseen kouluun - Suomalaistansseissa ei nykyisin enää ylletä 1960- ja 1970-lukujen kävijämääriin. Esimerkiksi Boråsissa pari kolme kertaa vuodessa järjestettävät suurtanssit keräävät enää parisataa tanssijaa - Trollhättanin ruotsinsuomalainen vähemmistötyö on nyt ilman hallintoaluekoordinaattoria - Näin lokakuussa illat pimenevät ja syksyn pimeys tuo monille mukanaan syysmasennusta. Seuraavaan kesään on matkaa ja pimeys niinkuin kylmyyskin vetävät ihmistä sohvan pohjalle. Syksyn ei kuitenkaan tarvitse tarkoittaa energianpuutosta ja alakuloa. Aniket Vidyadhar a.k.a Blent is a Mumbai based music producer and game designer. Having only stepped into the production limelight in the last year, his debut collection of tracks; Dusk EP - released in September last year - was a warm and delicate listen made entirely out of sampled content: "I do this thing I like to call micro-sampling. I chop everything up and manipulate it using effects. So if I take one note, assign it to the sampler and screw with it, I can make it into an instrument itself. See, I’m not the most technically proficient musician but I believe I’m musically inclined. I like collecting new sounds. I spend 90% of my time listening to music, and 10% making it." - Aniket, in an interview with NH7 On a primary listen, there's little question that his work is "deep", a word maybe thrown around a little too much these days. Yet in Vidyadhar's case, his sensibilities have a lot more to do with the actual depth and nature of his music rather than any form of sonic expression. He's long been associated with Bangalore Consolidate, a collective with a short history of pushing cutting edge electronica coming out of - yes, you've guessed it - Bangalore. His mix is short and flies by in a flash, a listen that's only heightened by Vidyadhar's continued passion for straight laced beats. Some classics do pop up from time to time, but on the whole, the mix is a sonic exercise full of slick drums, booming bass, and solid groove. To top it off, it ends in an original track made in collaboration with Pune based electronica duo; Castles In The Sky.
