Nyt on kevät ja ainakin yksi kevätaamu kannattaa valvoa lintujen konserttia kuunnellen. Keväisessä yössä valvoo perinteinen kolmikko, Ylen luonto-ohjelmista tutut Asko Hauta-aho ja Minna Pyykkö sekä lintuasiantuntija Jan Södersved Birdlifesta. Varhaisimmat linnut, rastaat ja punarinnat, ovat olleet äänessä jo pimeässä. Vähitellen aamukonserttiin on liittynyt mukaan yhä uusia laulajia. Yhä uudet nokat ovat avautuneet auringon nousun aikaan kertoakseen reviirien rajoista ja omasta kelpoisuudesta puolisoina – tai mistä linnut nyt sitten ikinä laulavatkaan. Ohjelman äänisuunnittelusta vastaa Petri Hårdh.

Nyt on uskomaton tarina, siis ihan leffakamaa bro! Tänään mielikuvana on Suvi pisuaarilla. Mikä asia aiheuttaisi Eskolle sydänkohtauksen ja p*skahalvauksen samalla kertaa? Miten radiojuontajat käyvät nykyisin vessassa kesken lähetyksien? Musiikintekijöiden tulisi vetää jokin raja ja äkkiä! Säilyttäisitkö puolison nallekarhun, joka on eksältä saatu lahja? Aamu yhdeksän jälkeen ostetaan kaljaa ja ilta yhdeksän jälkeen kanaa. Mitä hullua Esko näki ravintolan keittiössä, kun yritti löytää tiensä vessaan?

Koe ja kuule kotimaan luonto BirdLife Suomen järjestämän pihabongauksen tarkoituksena on laskea kuinka monta lintulajia ja yksilöä tunnin aikana tietyssä paikassa havaitsee. Tapahtuma järjestetään jo 20. kerran. Näin pitkällä seurannalla on kertynyt paljon mielenkiintoista aineistoa ja sen perusteella voi esimerkiksi pohtia, mitkä linnut runsastuvat ja mitkä taantuvat. Luontoretkellä Juha Laaksonen on Espoossa Hannu Ekblomin pihalla aloittelemassa pihabongausta. Aamu ei ole vielä kunnolla valjennut, mutta ääniä kuuluu. Kuinka monta lintulajia Hannun pihalla mahdollisesti voi havaita?

Koe ja kuule kotimaan luonto Talvi ei tunnetusti ole otollisin aika tarkkailla sammakoita, liskoja ja käärmeitä. Toisaalta on mielenkiintoista tietää, miten ja missä ne talvehtivat ja millä keinoilla ne selviävät talvesta. Luontoretkellä Lisse Tarnanen ja Juha Laaksonen lähtevät Espooseen tarkastamaan voisiko pienehkö puro, jonka lähellä keväisin on paljon sammakonkutua, tarjota sammakoille myös talvehtimispaikan.

Benedict College finally played a close game against Miles College. Jackson State vs Alabama A&M showed a divide between the 2. AAMU isn't one of the top teams in the SWAC East. We are back with a Week 3 preview! The reigning champs are traveling to the West Coast to take on a Power 5 opponent. AAMU travels to Baton Rouge to take on winless Southern. PV and Texas Southern stay in Texas to take on SMU and Rice. Morgan St. takes on cross-town rival Towson. And then we have the battle for the real "HU". On this episode, we are joined by Kelly Flicks as we break down these matchups and much more.

The NCAA declined CIAA & SIAC proposal for their champions to face off in Week 0.Alabama A&M and Alabama State could face Auburn in a spring game. The NCAA declined CIAA & SIAC proposal for their champions to face off in Week 0. This would have been a mixture of the MEAC/SWAC Challenge and the Celebration Bowl. The NCAA dropped the ball on this occasion. This game would have put high quality D2 football on display when there is less games to smother it. This would have been a great opportunity for not only the SIAC & CIAA but D2 football as a whole. Alabama A&M and Alabama State could face Auburn in a spring game. Coach Hugh Freeze suggested Auburn have scrimmages with other teams for their spring game instead of scrimmaging themselves. There was suggestions of it being an in-state opponent. That's where AAMU & ASU come into play. This is an idea the hornets and bulldogs should run with even if Auburn isn't involved. It could help with evaluation process. AAMU being essentially independent in this situation means there is no ceiling on the amount of revenue they can make. They actually give themselves a chance to make more money than they would have been given from the ASC. That being said they did turn down a guaranteed 700k every other year. No risk no reward. Alabama A&M University is mourning the death of Chi McDade who fell victim to domestic abuse on Thursday night. McDade was a native of Birmingham and was a member of the cheer squad. In May, McDade graduated from AAMU with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Bowie State should not be in conversation of best HBCU football team with the likes of Jackson State, South Carolina State, and Florida A&M. They are extremely dominant, but they don't go against FCS talent on a weekly basis. That leaves a question mark of how they would perform looming over the conversation. The one time they faced an FCS HBCU in the last couple of years was vs Delaware State in a game they lost. Kyle Foster, Brison Gresham, and MJ Randolph were all invited to the NBA G League Elite Camp with a chance to make it to the NBA Combine. This is a great opportunity for these 3 players. Foster is a deadly 3 point shooter who was one of the best in the country. Gresham has shown the ability to generate offense in transition, and in the paint but is also a skilled rim protector. Randolph was the SWAC player of the year and a mid major All American.  Alabama A&M might have just recruited their 1-2 punch of the future at QB and RB. Ashley Tucker is coming out of high school into a crowded QB room and could be the benefactor of a redshirt season. Donovan Eaglin transfers in from Michigan State where he didn't get much playing time behind arguably the best RB in the nation. He still has 3 years of eligibility. Ashley Tucker is coming out of high school into a crowded QB room and could be the benefactor of a redshirt season. Donovan Eaglin transfers in from Michigan State where he didn't get much playing time behind arguably the best RB in the nation. He still has 3 years of eligibility. Since then, she has found major success playing professionally overseas, including 2 club championships. In that time, she has also notched another quadruple double. Off the court, Hill has created a scholarship fund and used her brand to speak on social issues. March Madness starts early in the SWAC and MEAC tournament. Grambling upset Alabama A&M due to the differences in each team's supporting cast. Grambling's supporting cast helped their star player while AAMU's supporting cast left their star to do it all. Coppin State upsets #2 Howard in the MEAC tournament. They had an 18-3 run early in the game and never let up the lead. This makes the 3rd time Coppin beat Howard this year. Virignia Union fans were upset when their school didn't make the NCAA D2 tournament. They had a successful year and successful run in the CIAA tournament. They are not just a pertinent part of black history but American history and their current evolution is one to be admired.
