SUPPORT ON BEATPORT: https://www.beatport.com/release/dreams/7128205 "Dreams" is the stunning progressive breaks single from Vaim, delivering a perfect blend of uplifting melodies and a trancy, emotional atmosphere. The original mix pairs a driving broken-beat groove with lush, cascading soundscapes designed for pure dancefloor euphoria. Adding immense value to the package, Lost Astronaut turns up the pressure with a heavy, bass-driven remix that packs a powerful club punch. In beautiful contrast, Retroid reimagines the track into a deeply chilled-out, atmospheric anthem perfect for late-night or sunrise sets. Together, this release offers a flawless spectrum of emotion, weight, and melody for electronic music lovers.
An AI-generated track hit number one on Beatport, and Joey and Ralph do not agree on whether that should be allowed. What starts as a debate about AI turns into a harder question: is using AI actually any different from ghost production? Nobody wins this one cleanly.Second half, Ralph breaks down how he builds a 58 minute Tomorrowland main stage set for a crowd that is not there for him. What gets cut, what stays, and why only playing the safe records is how careers stay short.Recorded live the week before summer break, with no plan and an open chat.(00:00) Intro(06:00) An AI track hit number one on Beatport(07:35) Ralph: using AI is completely fine(08:00) Why AI levels the field for unknown producers(09:15) Dance music has always been built on new technology(10:44) If it sounds good, is it good?(11:01) Is AI any different from ghost production?(12:47) Recognising AI vocals by ear(13:00) The world is flooded with AI content(14:53) What happens to singers and songwriters(15:40) AI replaces mediocrity, not talent(16:16) Why mediocrity still matters for creativity(17:24) Loving a track until you find out it was AI(18:38) Moving to the Sun started as an AI vocal(19:39) Ralph's Tomorrowland schedule(21:19) Building a 58-minute main stage set(22:16) The balancing act: hits vs your own identity(24:48) Talking to front of house during a set(26:42) Are DJs playing prerecorded sets?(28:12) Summer break and guest episodes

The rise has happened. The stages are bigger, the residencies are multiplying, and the numbers are undeniable. The sounds that emerged from the African continent over the past three decades represent one of the most extraordinary waves of musical innovation the world has seen. But every genre that goes global reaches an inflection point where scale brings pressure, identity gets tested, and the question of who holds the keys becomes the most important one in the room. As multiple Afro-rooted genres move from momentum into long-term cultural movements, we look ahead to what comes next. How do scenes resist imposed narratives? Where can cultural growth continue with intention and integrity? And how is leadership in this next chapter defined by those carrying the culture forward, taking risks, and holding space for the generation coming through? Recorded live from the International Music Summit (IMS) - one of the leading conferences for the electronic music industry, held annually in Ibiza. Founded by Pete Tong, it has become the defining forum where the global dance music community gathers to catalyse sustainable growth and inspire positive change from the boardroom to the dancefloor.Featuring Culoe De Song, MoBlack, Cleido (Sondela), Raphael Pujol (Vice President of Global Curation at Beatport), and Shanae Dennis (Booking Agent at The Team) "The only way to survive is to evolve. If we stayed where we were eleven years ago, Afro house would already be dead." - MoBlackJoin us as we explore:✅ The scale and stakes of what Afro-Electronic music represent✅ How five simultaneous Ibiza residencies are redefining what artist power looks like✅ Why evolution and dilution are the most dangerous mistakes the industry can make right now✅ How the Middle East's exit from the touring circuit may be the unexpected catalyst that finally redirects money and attention toward the continent✅ The scenes across East and West Africa that are already ahead of the conversation✅ Why London remains one of the hardest places to grow Afro-electronic music➤ Follow us at:Instagram: @missionmakersInstagram: @dj.n1njaTikTok: @dj_n1njaSoundcloud: @dj-ninja➤ Credits:Music: Mission Makers - N1NJA (Unreleased)Producer: Farah Nanji➤ For show notes + more on our host visit:https://mission-makers.com/https://www.dj-ninja.com/

Emerging from Washington D.C. before relocating to the island energy of Koh Phangan, Aaron Suiss has built a career defined as much by emotional connection as dancefloor momentum. Now based in Thailand, the DJ, producer and label figure channels a melodic progressive sound rooted in feeling rather than functionality. That philosophy extends beyond the studio. Whether overseeing A&R duties for his own label 'Echoes of Time', championing new talent, or crafting productions that continue to climb the Beatport charts, Suiss approaches music as an act of energy exchange rather than pure entertainment. It's a mindset that has helped shape his rise while keeping his perspective grounded. On this Balance Selections, the artist showcases a crisp sound that feels seamless. Featuring tracks from Dowden, Stereo Underground, Patrice Bäumel and more, this is a dynamic journey through progressive textures. @suissofficial Tracklisting & interview: balancemusic.com.au/balance-selections-lisandro/ ------------------------------------- Follow: Instagram: www.instagram.com/balance_series Facebook: www.facebook.com/balanceseriesmusic Youtube: www.youtube.com/@balancemusicofficial
Pharmacy Radio 118 May 2026 Welcome to episode 118 of Pharmacy Radio. I've got an amazing show for you this month because coming up in the second hour John Fleming takes over the decks with a showcase of his absolutely incredible new album The Lost Tribe. The Lost Tribe was the number one release on Beatport for two weeks and is still on that chart as well as continuing to top the charts in multiple other genres. And he did it by breaking the rules. Instead of a smattering of two and a half minute tracks made to feed the algorithms, he did it his own way staying true to his sound. Yes, there are heaps of great dance floor tracks but it is also an amazing listening experience as he has programmed it like one of his legendary open to close sets slowly building and letting the tracks unfold over time. He's handpicked eight tracks off the album and mixed them together exclusively for us. In the first hour I have my own mix of techno, trance and psy. This month starts with a bang right out of the gate with two acid fueled tracks by Losless. First Hour: Christopher Lawrence Losless - Fastlane - Radikon Losless - I Feel Energy - DIEGETIK Taavi, Randali - Excuses (Carbon Remix) - Alula Tunes Giraffe - Do It! - AlpaKa MuziK Enlusion - Amber (Arhetip Remix) - JOOF Recordings Carbon - Look At Me - Stone Seed Artemis (AR) - Metamorph - AlpaKa MuziK Humberto Plaza, Benjamin Henley - Quintessence (Humberto Plaza Remix) - Bully Beatz Polarspell - Extravagant - Reload Records Siimon - Becoming One - ASOT Yestermorrow - Double Helix - Iboga Digicult & Hux Flux - The Moksha Medicine (Cronick Remix) - Dacru X-NoiZe, AZAX - Invaders From Mars - Nutek Records Guest Mix: John Fleming John 00 Fleming - The Beast John 00 Fleming - Time is an illusion John 00 Fleming - Omen's Playground John 00 Fleming - Trancepotation John 00 Fleming & Calantha - Evolution John 00 Fleming & Astral Projection - Transient symbiosis John 00 Fleming - Rave revolution John 00 Fleming Feat Jason Luke - We build it up, they break it down (The dark side)
