Die Clubszene ist besonders stark von den Massnahmen betroffen. Die Solidaritätsinitiative «Make Some Room. Electronic Relief in Switzerland» versucht den Elektroacts zu helfen, die keinen oder nur bedingt Anspruch auf das Hilfspaket des Bundes haben. Fragt sich wieviel die Aktion wirklich bringt. 131 Schweizer Acts sind auf der Compilation «Make Some Room » vertreten. Eine beachtliche Leistung, die viel ehrenamtliche Arbeit und Liebe zur Szene voraussetzt. Musikliebhaber können dem Projekt oder einem einzelnen Künstler oder Künstlerin Geld spenden. Das hilft hoffentlich all jenen, die ihr Lebensunterhalt nicht Hauptsächlich mit Konzertgagen verdienen, aber dennoch darauf angewiesen sind. Diese erhalten nämlich vom Bund nur schwer Anspruch auf Hilfsgelder. Doch welche Auswirkungen hat Covid-19 auf die ganze Electro- und Clublandschaft? Eine Frage, die niemand so richtig wagt zu beantworten. Ich habe sie trotzdem gestellt: Unter anderem dem Kulturjournalisten und Initiator von «Make some Room» Bjørn Schaeffner, sowie Szenekenner Jannik Roth von der creative agency Planisphere. Auch mit Bruno Spoerri habe ich über dieses Thema geredet. Als Pionier in der elektronischen Musik, hat er während vielen Jahren die Entwicklungen beobachtet. Er sagt uns, welche Clubs seiner Meinung nach in Zukunft noch überleben werden. «Solidarity Is Now» So heisst eine weitere Solidaritätskampagne, welche vom Club Zukunft in Zürich ins Leben gerufen wurde und am 1. Und 2. Mai stattfinden wird. An diesen beiden Tagen streamt der Club während insgesamt 28 Stunden verschiedene Liveacts und DJsets direkt aus der Clubeigenen DJ Booth. Dabei setzt der Zürcher Club ein Zeichen für diejenigen, die Hilfe wirklich nötig haben: Mit der Aktion wird Geld nicht etwa für den eigenen Kultursektor, sondern für Menschen in Rojava in Nordostsyrien gesammelt.
