This week we're not just giving you the story about a musician you should know about; we're also giving lessons in history, ethics, and politics. Buffy helped jump start the career of so many in the worlds of both folk and rock, but still hasn't seen her due, a story all too familiar for an Indigenous woman. But trust us, you know her music, and by the end of this, we'll make sure you also know about the artist herself. How she was acutely aware of her otherness since day one, and turned that into her creative strength and driving passion. Want to support your favorite beer drinkin’ babes? Check out our Patreon!
