The show opens with nothing other than the Florida Panthers dominating the Carolina Hurricanes 5-0 last night, the guys do a react of the game! Tobin goes off about Aho's dirty hit to take Reinhart out of the game. The guys have fun at the expense of the Hurricanes, crowd shots and salty calls. Was Frog boy right when he said this Panthers team is more dominant than the Big 3?
The crew kicks things off reacting to the Florida Panthers' dominant 5-0 win over the Carolina Hurricanes, with Tobin going off on Aho's dirty hit that took Reinhart out of the game. They have some fun at the expense of the Hurricanes, making jokes about salty calls and crowd shots. The crew debates if this Panthers team is more dominant than the Big 3, as Frog Boy once claimed. In Hour 2, they dive back into more Cats talk, with Leroy hilariously breaking a big spoon and trying to cover it up. They also discuss Bam Adebayo missing the All-NBA Defensive Team—was it due to his performance or the Heat's struggles? The discussion shifts to Lebron James possibly returning to the Heat as speculation grows about his frustration with the Lakers. In the final hour, the crew looks ahead to Game 3, with Leroy trying to figure out his pregame routine and disrespecting tequila in the process. The crew ponders where polar bears sleep and ends the show with Dead To Me, Knicks fans, and some F1 chatter.

Suoraa puhetta johtaa Maria Pettersson Keskustelijoina ovat Taru Tujunen, Maija Vilkkumaa ja Mika Pantzar. Taru Tujunen nostaa keskusteluun juuri päättyneet Yhdysvaltain presidentinvaalit.

Hun var seniorforsker i Place and Displacement: Exhibiting Architecture og The Printed and the Built: Architecture and Public Debate in Modern Europe (begge NFR-finansiert). I det EU-finansierte HERA-prosjektet Printing the Past (PriArc) var hun ansvarlig for Images of Egypt, som resulterte i utstillingen ved samme navn på Historisk Museum, Oslo, høsten 2018 og boken Images of Egypt (Pax, 2018), med Tim Anstey og Eirik Bøhn. Hun er forfatter av monografien Plaster Monuments. Architecture and the Power of Reproduction (Princeton University Press, 2017), med Peter Zumthor, A Feeling of History (Zürich: Scheidegger & Spiess, 2018), og Sverre Fehn, Nordic Pavilion, Venice. Voices from the Archives, with Erik Langdalen (Lars Müller/Pax, 2021). (Kilde: AHO.no). (Kilde: AHO.no). Dr. Aho is a surgeon and scientist with an insatiable appetite for invention and more than 20 patents to his name. He was still in his surgical residency at Mayo Clinic when he spotted an opportunity that led him to develop a medical device now in use around the world. Tension pneumothorax is a life-threatening emergency that occurs when air builds up between the lungs and chest wall. It's not especially common, but it's one of those medical situations that TV medical dramas often act out because the way to treat it is to jam a large needle into the chest and wait to hear a gush of air. It occurred to Aho: there had to be a better way. He developed the Capnospot, a device that provides visual confirmation that treatment of tension pneumothorax has been successful. The Capnospot is now standard equipment on ambulances and in emergency rooms everywhere, from Minnesota to Poland. It's the first product to be released by Aho's parent company, Pneumeric. But it took five years to get here, and challenges persist, from manufacturing to marketing. Aho walks us through the long, expensive process of earning FDA approval for a medical device. “I would have raised more money, earlier,” he says. “Everything takes twice as long, and costs twice as much as you expect.” He's raised $2.2 million to date. Aho says venture capital for medical devices tends to go to the really big ideas, rather than “little innovations,” like the Capnospot, that improve on everyday treatments. We discuss the opportunities, and the challenges, of being both practicing surgeon and entrepreneur. “Being a doctor, you get to help people,” Aho says. “Doing a medical device, I get to help people on a system wide, national and international scale.” Following our conversation with Aho, we go back to the classroom with the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business where Dan McLaughlin is a senior executive fellow who teaches health care management. He explains why Aho's path to successful medtech developer is unique; most medtech innovation comes out of big companies that employ teams of scientists. He points out the value of basic business training in helping entrepreneurial thinkers turn their ideas into business.
