No hubo colusión, pero la obstrucción está a juicio del lector. El informe político más esperado en Washington finalmente se dio a conocer, aunque parcialmente- Tras más de dos años de investigación, el fiscal especial Robert Mueller no pudo determinar que la campaña republicana de Donald Trump coordinara con operarios rusos para perjudicar a Hillary Clinton, aunque tampoco pudo decir que el presidente no haya intentado obstruir la justicia.Mientras los republicanos y el mandatario insisten en que se trata de una "total exoneración", los demócratas en el Congreso analizan si lo que descubrió Mueller sirve para montar un caso que pueda conducir al impeachment de Trump, aunque en la conveniencia de eso el Partido Demócrata parece estar dividido.

Con la presentación de la carta de resumen del trabajo del fiscal especial que investigaba la injerencia rusa en las elecciones de 2016 quedo claro que no hubo la sospechada coordinación con la campaña republicana. Ni el presidente ni su campaña trabajaron con los rusos para dañar a Hillary Clinton.Sin embargo, no está tan claro que Trump no haya intentado obstruir la investigación federal. En ese punto Mueller, quien indicó que ni acusa ni exonera al presidente, dejó la decisión final en manos de sus superiores, el fiscal general William Barr y el vice fiscal general Rod Rosenstein.Aunque la Casa Blanca declara victoria y “exoneración completa y total” del presidente, del reporte de Mueller pueden salir datos que alimenten las varias investigaciones que hay contra el presidente y su círculo en el Congreso y en cortes.
