We start with our Laureate MIMI GERMAN's usual brilliant poetry.   We hear from the dis-incarnated Jeffrey Epstein about his money laundering with Donald Trump & V. Putin.   We further discuss the nitty gritty of the Second Amendment and the perils of gun ownership with the great DOROTHY REIK.   We here from former Mormon BRENT MILLER.   Our co-convenor MIKE HERSH introduces the great JENNIE GAGE and her post-Mormon Denim Revolution.   From Jennie we hear a fascinating account of how she broke away from her fundamentalist past.   We later hear from JONATHAN BEARD about the idea of progressives moving to Red States to organize & shift the Electoral College.   From Green Party Presidential candidate HOWIE HAWKINS who discusses the Trump-Putin alliance.   Howie then introduces SVITLANA ROMANKO who explains from Ukraine the hellish conditions in which green activists are trying to shift the nation from fossil/nulear fuel addiction to clean, green wind and solar.   From MICKEY LEADER we get questions about geothermal energy & its possible role in rebuilding Ukraine.   California solar activist PAUL NEWMAN asks (in Ukrainian) about the role of hydro-power in the war zone.   Safe energy advocate HEIDI VERTHALLER lauds the campaigning of Germany's Petra Kelly & elicits a comparison to Svitlana.   Nationally-renowned health research JOE MANGANO discusses the need to do a national study of the health impacts of atomic radiation from nuclear reactors.   Our erstwhile engineer STEVE CARUSO asks about the role of Exxon-Mobil in supporting oil/gas exploration with Morgan-Stanley & Putin.   The great KARL GROSSMAN then discusses Trump's utter decimation of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission & any semblance of actual safety guarantees at US reactors.

Some weeks the conversation takes a turn you could never see coming, and this one is no exception. From car engines to conspiracy theories, from Detroit basketball to personal faith, Kevin and Sean cover ground that feels bigger than any one episode. The vibe shifts constantly, keeping you leaning in just to see where the next sentence lands. What begins with Kevin talking about tearing apart his Mustang somehow spins into NBA trivia, bad advice from strangers, and the limits of what anyone should attempt alone in a garage. It is messy, funny, and sharp, the way only Kevin can deliver. By the time the topic moves on, you realize you just sat through a masterclass in taking an absurd problem and making it sound like a story worth retelling. From there, Hollywood comes calling. A fresh list of the greatest wrestlers-turned-actors sparks some blunt honesty and surprising respect. Kevin's thoughts on Batista, Cena, Rock, Hogan, Piper, and others highlight how he really sees the industry and where he fits into it. The conversation reveals a lot about ego, perception, and what it actually means to cross over successfully. But then, out of nowhere, the show gets heavier. Reports surrounding Hulk Hogan's death, the swirl of rumors, and the uncomfortable reality of how stories form around tragedy bring the tone to a place few other podcasts would dare go. Kevin responds as only he can, balancing personal insight with a refusal to look away from the bigger questions. And finally, the most unexpected twist of all. A quiet memory of IHOP, late at night, opens into a discussion about faith, belief, and how people wrestle with the things that cannot be explained. Kevin opens up about the moment he asked Jesus into his life and what that has meant to him since. It is raw, personal, and layered in a way that makes the title of this episode mean far more than you might guess at first glance. Fleitz highlights Trump’s strong, pragmatic leadership and contrasts it with the Biden administration’s failures, arguing that Trump’s America First approach is restoring U.S. influence and global stability. The discussion covers Trump’s success in brokering peace deals, the need for tough negotiations with Russia, and the importance of economic incentives in diplomacy. SEASON 4 EPISODE 5: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:45) SPECIAL COMMENT: THE DISASTA IN ALASKA The Disasta in Alaska - starring the cheeseburger-eating surrender monkey. We have, to quote Churchill, suffered a defeat, without a war. Because we forget we don’t MERELY have an evil, deranged president, we have an evil, deranged president who is also a moron. Now, Trump - Putin’s butt boy, his errand carrier - will deliver Putin’s message to Zelensky in Washington. He will be accompanied by EU President von der Leyen, NATO Secretary General Rutte, Presidents Macron of France and Stubb of Finland, Prime Ministers Starmer of the U-K and Meloni of Italy, and Chancellor Merz of Germany. Trump will be accompanied by a large selection of mirrors. I suspect Trump will parrot what he remembers of Putin's message (whatever Trump's staff didn't leave on the printer of the business center at the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage) and tell Zelensky that the way to achieve an end to the war in Ukraine is: to lose. The best thing Zelensky and the Europeans could say in response would be to state that they are withdrawing their recognition of the government of the United States of America because it is just too effing stupid. From the Disasta in Alaska to the Occupied territory of Washington, D.C. And don’t forget what Trump today DOUBLING the number of National Guard in DC with new recruits from Ohio, West Virginia, and South Carolina (all of them, far more violent than DC) means: It means he’s read his cratering polls number and declared war on the United States of America. Also: we rejoin the Trumpstein Cover-up Scandal, already in progress. B-Block (30:02) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: International Fop Piers Morgan FINALLY does a journalism - posts a meme of Trump on his way to meet Putin and Trump is wearing kneepads - and then DELETES the first journalism of his life? Pam Bondi proudly admits The Deep State has defeated her fascist DOJ with nothing more than a Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Sub. And the battle of the most overrated people in their field: neither CNBC's Andrew Ross Sorkin nor House Democratic mis-Leader Hakeem Jeffries repeat Andrew Cuomo's canard that Democratic NYC mayor nominee Zohran Mamdani lives in a rent-CONTROLLED apartment when he, like HALF of all NYC renters (myself included) lives in a rent-STABILIZED apartment. Sorkin repeats this FOUR times, Jeffries doesn't correct him, and Jeffries who is theoretically a congressman from New York STILL refuses to endorse his own party's nominee, chosen by its MEMBERS, for mayor OF New York. Sorkin should be fired and Jeffries should resign. C-Block (43:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Somebody wrote last week that Aaron Sorkin's HBO "Newsroom" version of some of what happened to Countdown on MSNBC was the worst fictionalization of journalism in the English language. I think that's an exaggeration. It wasn't nearly that good.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The name may be spelled differently, but Jim Geraghty is hilariously bracing to hear his name a lot over the coming year.In the first martini, Jim breaks down the Trump-Putin summit in Alaska, weighing both the positive and negative results. They also examine what today's Washington meeting between Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and European leaders could mean for future peace negotiations.Next, they react to MSNBC rebranding to MS NOW. Jim suspects NBC News will be glad to no longer be synonymous with the rage fest on the cable channel once this process is complete. Greg and Jim are both severely underwhelmed by the new name. Finally, they shake their heads as New York Times columnist Ross Douthat interviews Osita Nwanevu, a columnist for The New Republic, who basically wants to scrap the Constitution and start over because we're not enough of a democracy. The guest is especially infuriated over the existence of the U.S. Senate and the Electoral College and wants to pack the U.S. Supreme Court and add a several new states...you know...to save democracy. Please visit our great sponsors:Keep your skin looking and acting younger for longer. Get 15% off OneSkin with the code 3ML at https://www.oneskin.co/Support your health with Dose Daily.  Save 25% on your first month when you subscribe at https://DoseDaily.co/3ML or enter code 3ML at checkout. Stop putting off those doctors' appointments and go to https://zocdoc.com/3ML to find and instantly book a top-rated doctor today.

On Friday's Mark Levin Show, President Trump's negotiating skills and common sense are on display during his meeting with Vladimir Putin in Alaska. Putin is a ruthless, Stalin-like dictator who rose through blackmail, eliminates opponents, and seeks to reclaim former territories, including NATO nations, while disregarding human losses. Putin's war is a disaster for him, whose weakened military and finances face a determined Ukraine. Also, Mark goes live to the Trump and Putin news conference after their 3-hour meeting, in which we didn't learn a whole lot from it. The meeting was productive but there's no deal yet. There must have been some concessions from Putin if it was a productive meeting?  Afterward, Sen Tom Cotton calls in with his take on the Trump/Putin meeting. Cotton notes Trump's realistic expectations for no major peace deal but potential ceasefire groundwork. He emphasized Trump's refusal to concede Ukrainian territory without involving Zelensky and Europeans, and plans to arm Ukraine while threatening severe sanctions on Russian oil exports to pressure Putin into negotiations. On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show, George and Alex Soros are relentlessly working to undermine this nation. Despite the Soros family amassing billions from this country, they choose to finance antisemitic protestors, purchase radio stations to sway public opinion, and back radical Democrats and influencers. They are now supporting protests against President Trump's crime crackdown in Washington, D.C., including a $20 million contribution to groups opposing the deployment of National Guard troops and federalization of D.C.'s police. When will the Republicans investigate the Soros family? Also, Gov Mike Dunleavy calls in to discuss the Trump/Putin meeting in Alaska this Friday. In addition, Alaska's energy resources are vital, but under the Biden and Obama administrations, the state faced restrictive federal policies. In contrast, Trump has liberated Alaska's energy sector. Later, Democrats, having lost touch with the cultural zeitgeist, are attempting to fracture the MAGA coalition built by Trump. Their strategy involves exploiting internal disagreements within MAGA, using media-driven wedge issues like foreign policy and the Epstein case to create divisions. “Some are being advanced by paid influencers and operatives, along with bot armies, to split the movement.” Afterward, Gov Greg Abbott calls in and addresses the ongoing issue of redistricting in Texas, where a special 30-day legislative session is nearing its end with less than a week remaining. Democrats in the Texas House, numbering 62 out of 150 members, left the state to block a quorum, which requires two-thirds of the House and Senate to act, preventing a vote on redistricting. Abbott expressed confidence in passing the redistricting legislation by calling consecutive special sessions if needed. Finally, Gov Ron DeSantis calls in to announce his new Lieutenant Gov Jay Collins. They discuss Florida's appeal and the need for redistricting to ensure fair representation, especially in rapidly growing areas like Tampa Bay and Sarasota. They also advocate for a census that counts only legal residents and points out California's gerrymandered district maps, which favor liberal candidates despite being drawn by an independent commission. If you boil it down to its essence, it's simply about what's true and right about the country versus the dystopian vision ushered in under the Obama era. As President Trump tries to break up corrupt money in NGOs, seal the border, secure elections, and make city streets safer for all Americans while attempting to reverse course on the economy - it's a big job. But what he's trying to fix was broken. Intentionally. And it's a tough fact we must face. Guy Ciarocci has written a smart column called "The 7 Deadly Sins of the Left" and it's a helpful breakdown of how the country got into such a mess. More shocking proof has dropped from DNI Tulsi Gabbard that Obama and his executive branch agencies were proof-positive clouding to push a false story to topple Trump. What will come of the Trump/Putin summit tomorrow and what is fostering the anti-Israel chorus amongst some conservatives? Stigall asked former Trump National Security team member Victoria Coates.
