Mimo jiné řekl, že státy, které se z tohoto „zeleného podrazu“ nevymaní zkrachují. Také se vysmíval větrným a solárním elektrárnám, které považuje za nefunkční a příliš drahé. Poslouchali ho přitom i lídři zemí, pro které představují dopady postupujícího zahřívání planety, jako je rostoucí hladina oceánů a sílící extrémy počasí, doslova existenční hrozbu. Tato tvrzení navíc zaznívají od prezidenta Spojených států, které mají kvůli spalování fosilních paliv na změně klimatu historicky největší podíl ze všech zemí. Ale Trump nezůstává zdaleka jen u rétoriky.„Od Trumpa tam zazněly nepravdivé výroky, které bych nečekal ani od člověka v hospodě po šestém pivu, natož od prezidenta jedné z nejmocnějších zemí světa,“ říká sociolog Vojtěch Pecka, který dlouhodobě zkoumá popírání změny klimatu a působí v Asociaci pro mezinárodní otázky.  Před dvěma lety mu vyšla kniha Továrna na lži: výroba klimatických dezinformací (Alarm a Utopia Libri, 2023), která se dostala mezi finalisty ceny Magnesia Litera. „Když jsem tu knihu psal, tak jsem doufal, že sledujeme nějaký zlom, kdy se podobné aktivity podaří umenšit. Ale americká vláda se teď nesnaží jen polemizovat s vědeckými poznatky a zdiskreditovat je. V Americe jsme svědky přímého útoku na vědu. Snaží se jí zničit. Zbavit ji financování, vědeckých programů a zařízení i datových repozitářů. Chtějí zabránit lidem, aby znali vědecké výsledky a aby věda byla vůbec možná,“ popisuje Vojtěch Pecka, který jako další velký zdroj systematického zpochybňování změny klimatu vidí v Rusku. Režim Vladimira Putina má zájem na pokračujícím vývozu a spalování ruské ropy a zemního plynu s čímž se pojí snahy zdiskreditovat klimatické politiky Evropské unie. To je podle analytika patrné  v rámci kampaní před českými parlamentními volbami.„SPD patří k největším vektorům ruské propagandy, který jí překládá do Česka. Europoslanec Ivan David založil server Nová republika. Spolu s Voxpotem jsme identifikovali, že masivně vydává překlady ruské propagandy. Velká část obsahu je namířená právě proti obnovitelným zdrojům a Evropské unii jako takové,“ dodává Vojtěch Pecka, který aktuálně s kolegy z AMO ve spolupráci s týmem výzkumníků z britské University of Exeter vyvíjí nástroj s názvem evidence.ninja, který má pomocí umělé inteligence ve velkém měřítku a rychlosti odhalovat a vyvracet klimatické mýty. They are now supporting protests against President Trump's crime crackdown in Washington, D.C., including a $20 million contribution to groups opposing the deployment of National Guard troops and federalization of D.C.'s police. When will the Republicans investigate the Soros family? Also, Gov Mike Dunleavy calls in to discuss the Trump/Putin meeting in Alaska this Friday. In addition, Alaska's energy resources are vital, but under the Biden and Obama administrations, the state faced restrictive federal policies. In contrast, Trump has liberated Alaska's energy sector. Later, Democrats, having lost touch with the cultural zeitgeist, are attempting to fracture the MAGA coalition built by Trump. Their strategy involves exploiting internal disagreements within MAGA, using media-driven wedge issues like foreign policy and the Epstein case to create divisions. “Some are being advanced by paid influencers and operatives, along with bot armies, to split the movement.” Afterward, Gov Greg Abbott calls in and addresses the ongoing issue of redistricting in Texas, where a special 30-day legislative session is nearing its end with less than a week remaining. Democrats in the Texas House, numbering 62 out of 150 members, left the state to block a quorum, which requires two-thirds of the House and Senate to act, preventing a vote on redistricting.
