Dead? I Don't Think So! You Can't Keep a Good Man Down
On the next Treasured Truth, we’ll continue to look at what Jesus did for us on the cross. Pastor Ford will remind us that the condemnation of Good Friday was leading to the coronation of Resurrection Sunday. If there were no Good Friday, then there could not be Resurrection Sunday. And he points out that many of us want the power of resurrection, but we don’t want to experience the pain of the cross. Join us as Pastor Ford concludes the message “Resurrection Power: You Can’t Keep a Good Man Down” on the next Treasured Truth. Treasured Truth is a listener supported program on Moody Radio. When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He celebrated. And in His resurrection celebration, Jesus had prayer and praise. And on the next Treasured Truth, Pastor Ford will ask us, if we’ve followed Jesus’ example—has resurrection power caused us to pray more? Has it caused us to praise more? To learn more about how we should respond when we realize we need the resurrection power of Jesus in our lives, join us for the next Treasured Truth. On the next Treasured Truth, Pastor Ford will begin a new message series that looks at the resurrection of Lazarus. And he’ll explain that God wanted everyone to understand that if Jesus didn’t raise Lazarus from the dead, it wouldn’t get done—that is exactly why Jesus delayed His departure to return and help Lazarus. So, we must realize that sometimes the reason Jesus hasn’t come to help with our problems is because they may not be bad enough yet. 4.10 Welcome RPG Ramblings with Jeff Jones. This a quasi–weekly show exploring the various details of the TableTop RPG hobby through discussions with interesting people. Today, Levi Combs joins me. He has been on a wee bit of a hiatus. We talk about a number things and Levi Is candid about his journey to recovery. My goal was not to get emotional during the interview and I succeeded, however our discussion got cut short due to internet issues. We leave you on a cliffhanger. The sandy beach calls. We have some sea glass to collect. The sun is shining. Sisters and brothers, it is time to get rambling. ——————————————————————————————— Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/RPG_Ramblings ———————————————————————————————— Levi Combs Planet X - Twitter: @PlanetXGamesCo ———————————————————————————————— Jeff Jones Twitter: @I_Am_Jeffrey Website: rpgramblings.com DriveThru: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse.php?author=Jeffrey%20A%20Jones

On this episode of Decentralize with Cointelegraph, investor Charlie Shrem talks about something truly interesting — himself. It's quite a tale, much of which is being heard for the first time in this full-length interview. Charlie was a millionaire and a convicted felon while still in his early 20s. Besides founding BitInstant, he ran a retail business and nightclub, and then got entangled in Silk Road. He dealt with weighty issues of community and spirituality, and found true love. There's something here for everyone.Cointelegraph's Twitter: @CointelegraphCointelegraph's website: cointelegraph.comThe views, thoughts and opinions expressed in this podcast are its participants' alone and do not necessarily reflect or represent the views and opinions of Cointelegraph. Though it's rarely pleasant, honest introspection is an important part of life. It's essential to regularly search our own hearts, to see if there's any secret sin we might be ignoring.
The Hoover Dam is one of the most impressive feats of modern engineering. And yet, all it would take is one little crack being overlooked, and the entire structure would come tumbling down.
This is not my work. It is from a fantastic creator called Gravemind. I recommend checking out his other work and supporting him however possible. So feed it what you want it to think about through careful selection and repetition.
"You Can't Keep a Good Man Down" Gen 39:20-23 | Pastor Charlie Dates | Progressive Chicago by Pastor Charlie Dates
Many have tried and failed to be morally, ethically, and spiritually good. It is not that good doesn't exist in every human but without God, we fail to live up to that standard. We needed an example that was more than good. One that would put us in right standing again. Jesus was more than a good man, He was God's man.

Robert Paylor suffered a life changing spinal cord injury just minutes into the 2017 collegiate rugby national championship game at Santa Clara University. In the immediate aftermath he was told that he would never walk again, or do much of anything else for that matter. Well, you can't keep a good man down. This past August, Robert walked across the stage at his graduation from the University of California at Berkeley! His profile on twitter and Instagram reads "Quadriplegic on a journey to walk again and inspire others". He is indeed an inspiration, who through determination and perspiration has achieved his aspiration of motivating anyone within the sound of his voice. Lucky for you today because Robert is my guest on this week's QuadCast.
