Matthew 12:1-50 | Joshua Tay | 28 December 2025
We are almost there. Throughout Advent we have inched our way through key biblical moments meant to move us toward a child who is coming. In Jesus, God reveals a new way that shatters the paradigms of this world. As you listen, our prayer is that you would sense God's invitation to believe that something greater than power has come into our world. Are you ready to believe and embrace what this could mean for you and your family this Christmas?

Send us a textSharing a Thanksgiving Prayer/Meditation of Gratitude: Ask for Something Greater. Matthew 7:7 heralds a beautiful message: "Ask and keep on asking, and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking, and you will find; knock and keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you."This week's question: "What if your prayers are too small for the life you're meant to live?" In this focused, six-minute guided meditation, we slow down, breathe, and move from timid requests to bold, honest asking rooted in God's generosity. We open with a calm invitation to welcome God into the room, then step straight into the questions we often avoid: Am I afraid of being disappointed? Do I feel unworthy? Do I doubt that God will help?Naming these barriers out loud becomes the first act of courage. If this moved you, subscribe, share the episode with a friend who needs courage today, and leave a quick review to help others find the show. Jesus is the one true Savior who casts out demons, defeats the devil, and exposes unbelief. He is greater than Jonah who called for repentance, greater than Solomon who spoke wisdom, and the true light who shines clearly. Therefore, we must believe His power, receive His word, and walk in His truth!

In 1 Kings 19 Elijah and Elisha demonstrate what is "greater" in actually serving Jesus. We can learn a lot from this example as to why we can be sold out for Jesus in modern times. Pastor Chris explains how "something greater" is not always what the human thinks of and explains the Kingdom purpose.

In this episode, we explore Jesus' strong warning to a generation that demanded signs but refused to repent. As we look at the passage in Luke 11:29–32, we'll see how Jesus is greater than Jonah, greater than Solomon, and how we are responsible to respond to Him in faith and repentance. Don't miss the sign that matters most—the Savior Himself.
