The Rap Takes Podcast takes things to the West Coast this week with a feature on YG's debut album, My Krazy Life. The artist had his fair share of hits with his mixtapes before this CD, but this project helped make him a household name in modern hip hop.
Also, we can't count for shit -- so excuse all of our references to it being Episode 68. With that said, this week we dive into talk about the influx of rappers getting their reggae stylings on including the latest single from Tyga Ranks (eight gold chains like I'm Tyga, Tyga Ranks), and do a where are they now on the 2015 XXL Freshmen list before we head into Freshman 16. Still Brazy also dropped and we have a neat review on that, including his journey from My Krazy Life (y'know falling out with Mustard and getting shot) to Still Brazy. Would he be able to make another dope record without Mustard? (Spoilers: Yes).
Shoo! Whatever?!? XOXO
