BANG! @southernvangard #radio presents #TheBadSeed interview session! This Brooklyn bred MC has been putting it down for decades, and is back with a brand new full length LP with #Nottz on Sept 28th, entitled #NoWayInHell. We premiered a few cuts off the album on Ep180 - WORLD EXCLUSIVES, we might add - in addition to having a lengthy, in-depth & entertaining chat about how the album came to be. Seed digs into his long & storied relationship with Nottz, why the producer pulled him away from retirement and what we can expect from the album when it drops. We also crack the history books open and talk Seed’s #MakinRecords days, how he met #Pumpkinhead (RIP) and why he had the inside track on all of the upcoming producers at that time such as Jake One - which led to his connecting with Nottz. There’s SO much more inside, but you’ll have to press play to hear about it. So go on now…press play, preorder “No Way In Hell” on #CrisisCenterCollective today (peace to #DJConcept) and never forget we forever serve up that #smithsoniangrade #twiceaweek #WeAreTheGard // southernvangard.com // @southernvangard on #applepodcasts #stitcherradio #soundcloud #mixcloud #youtube // #hiphop #rap #undergroundhiphop #boombap #DJ #mix #interview #podcast #ATL #WORLDWIDE #RIPCOMBATJACK Recorded live September 16, 2018 @ Dirty Blanket Studios, Marietta, GA southernvangard.com @southernvangard on #applepodcasts #stitcherradio #soundcloud #mixcloud #youtube #smithsoniangrade #twiceaweek #WeAreTheGard twitter/IG: @jondoeatl @southernvangard @cappuccinomeeks

Are you letting the way you look hold you back from being visible in your business? This is for you. The key takeaways: There’s a difference between being a foodie who just loves food and being so obsessed with food that it fills you with anxiety, overwhelm and self-castigation. When you turn food into an emotional issue, one where you deserve punishment for eating xyz, or you think there’s NO WAY IN HELL you can eat certain things, that’s when you need to step back and think “this obsession might not be healthy”. I find meals are the perfect way to bring some structure to you week (and days) especially when you work from home. There’s a nice amount of order that comes with meal planning. Just don’t take it too far. If you eat after 6pm you won’t die. Eating should be enjoyable and it should be fun and it should be pleasurable, and actually, it should be easy. Don’t underestimate how dangerous the dieting approach to food is because nobody ever intentionally sets out to become a huge dysfunctional eater, but as soon as you start with the rules and the plans and the programmes and the invisible labels with food, you’re already increasing your chance of eating disorders, of food obsession, of binging, of food anxiety, of overeating, of not knowing when to stop. It so common for entrepreneurial women to hold themselves back from being visible because of their weight or the way they look. It’s connected to this belief of not being good enough – an internal dialogue that in reality, your audience is not in agreement with. Nobody judges you the way YOU judge you. -------------------- Join me on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/dairecharlotte/ Sign up for my weekly (ish) jolts of genius here: http://dairepaddy.com/ -------------------- For the full show notes, including all the links mentioned in this episode, go here >> http://dairepaddy.com/episode42 -------------------- If you enjoyed this episode I'd love it if you could: a) Share your favourite moment, takeaway, or place to listen in your Instagram Stories, tagging me (@dairecharlotte) b) Hop over to iTunes and leave me an honest review.
Recently I saw a post that suggested that violence is not the answer to solve any problem. Well, actually it's the ONLY WAY to solve certain problems. The laws of this land vary from state to state. Some places you cant even POSSES a firearm without facing time. In some places riding around with a shotgun in your truck window is the standard. But VIOLENCE can cause a VIOLENT reaction. Sometimes people pay the ultimate price. Remember the movie A TIME TO KILL with Sam Jackson, they dudes raped his lil girl so he gunned they ass down. BRAVO! See you will have some tree hugging sissy try and tell me that was wrong, that he should have let the courts handle it. NO WAY IN HELL! I would gladly loose my freedom for a few years to violently kill someone that did that to my lil girl. To me it's a no brainer, to me that is JUSTICE. Sometimes you have to take VIOLENT ACTION to protect you and your loved ones. Sometimes it isn't for self defense, sometimes you have to be VIOLENT and KILL PEOPLE to make things change for the better. Look at the events in Egypt, you think if they just asked nicely that that regime would change? No,it had to go down the VIOLENT and DEADLY way. There are many reasons I can think of to KILL someone, but others couldn't do it if their own life depended on it. I don't understand these people. So here goes: 1)COULD YOU TAKE ANOTHER PERSONS LIFE? (THINK BEFORE YOU ANSWER!) 2) DO YOU THINK KILLING SOMEONE IS EVER JUSTIFIED IF THE PERSON KILLED DID NOT TAKE ANYONE ELSE LIFE? 4) HAVE YOU EVER CONTEMPLATED KILLING SOMEONE AND IF SO WHAT DID THEY DO TO MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU WANTED TO KILL THEM 5) IF SOMEONE BREAKS INTO YOUR HOME DO YOU THINK THEY SHOULD DIE FOR THAT ACT? 5) SHOULD VIOLENCE AND KILLING BE USED TO ENACT CHANGE, REVOLUTIONS ARE BLOODY, WOULD YOU PARTICIPATE IF IT WAS NEEDED? 6) HAVE YOU EVER OR SOMEONE YOU ARE CLOSE TO EVER HAD TO KILL SOMEONE, IF SO HOW DID IT CHANGE YOU? (MILITARY INCLUDED!) It's also MASHAMUTHAF***A MONDAY!
