I'm extending my stay in Central New York this week as I take a look at some Bigfoot sightings in Otsego and Chenango counties! Plus I share a personal story about a strange thumping sound Josh and I heard while camping in Basswood Pond State Forest a few weeks back. But we have some really weird Bigfoot sightings this week! A woman sees Bigfoot passing by her bedroom window on a sunny morning; a man and his two younger brothers hear weird howls and see a dark figure while camping; a boy and his dog watch a Sasquatch walking up a hill behind their home; and three friends see a tall Bigfoot walking down a road near their home one evening. On March 23 in Glens Falls, the group IndivisibleADK held a town hall for NY Congressional district 21. Their representative, Elise Stefanik has recently been appointed ambassador to the United Nations by Donald Trump, but has yet to be confirmed. Members of IndivisibleADK claim that Stefanik has been ignoring her constituents for some time as she pursues a national or international spotlight. The meeting, which was filled to capacity with several people unable to get in to the hall, had a cardboard cutout of Stefanik on a chair at the front of the room. After an introduction from Cheryl Bratton, members of the audience posed questions to their absent Congressperson.

(Jun 10, 2020) Former North Country Congressman Bill Owens has endorsed fellow Democrat Tedra Cobb for Congress. Owens works as an attorney in Plattsburgh and represented the North Country from 2009 to 2015.

(Jun 3, 2020) Democratic congressional candidate Tedra Cobb harshly criticized President Donald Trump and her Republican opponent, Elise Stefanik, for their comments about protests against police violence across the country.
