Rhode Island may be the smallest state in the country, but it's not too small to be home to one of the biggest cryptids. This week I'm looking at Bigfoot sightings in the Ocean State, and this New England gem has some very unique reports. There's a roadside crossing at night, but also multiple reports of a white Bigfoot being seen over the years and across Providence and Washington counties. Hunters, hikers, bicyclists, college students, and professors have all seen this white Sasquatch. Are they all imagining things? The Seattle Seahawks just won the Super Bowl, so in honor of their victory, this week I'm taking a look at Bigfoot sightings near Seattle! Located in King County, Washington, Seattle is the most populous city in the state, and the entire northwest region of the country. Missouri has a long and legendary history of Bigfoot sightings within the state. The Missouri Monster, or MoMo, was made famous from well-publicized sightings in 1971, with witnesses describing a creature with a foul smell and a large head. This week I'm looking at some UFO sightings in New Jersey, specifically near Vasa Park, Budd Lake, and Mount Olive in Warren and Morris Counties! A few weeks ago, we camped at Gormanudur Viking Fest, held at Vasa Park. It was a beautiful event with good people, good food, and good times. But there have been some interesting UFO sightings right in the area. Stories this week include: two friends see a yellow, teardrop-shaped object near their apartment building; a witness see what he thinks is a satellite, until it grows bright and changes direction; two men have car trouble near a field and spot a large, black, triangular UFO hovering above; some coworkers relaxing in a field see a large disc-shaped craft silently gliding over the treetops; and a bright white light is seen rising over a general store and then zipping off into the sky at incredible speed. This week I'm speaking with Josh, a listener of the show who contacted me about a possible Bigfoot sighting he had about 9 years ago in York County, Pennsylvania. Josh details the encounter he had as a teenager with a strange creature in the woods while biking in to meet up with his friends at their fort. The creature didn't seem like anything that should be found in the Pennsylvania woods. I'm taking a look at Bigfoot sightings in Idaho this week, in Custer County, in honor of Dr. Jeff Meldrum, who sadly passed away last week. A one of the few mainstream scientists to take the Bigfoot phenomenon seriously, Dr. Meldrum brought a keen scientific eye to footprints, behaviors, and other evidence of the legendary creature's existence. He was a longtime professor of anthropology at Idaho State University, so this week I'm examining Sasquatch stories from the state he was best known for. I'm back in Pennsylvania again, this time looking at UFO sightings in Bucks County and Doylestown! From weird objects seen over Sesame Place and the Oxford Valley Mall, to glowing orbs hovering in backyards and in residential neighborhoods, to huge triangular and rectangular craft, Bucks County has been prone to UFO sightings for years. Even the movie Signs, by M. Night Shyamalan, was set in - and filmed in - Doylestown in Bucks County! The Selbyville Swamp Monster is a creature resembling Bigfoot that stalks the Great Cypress Swamp of Maryland and Delaware.
