The Poeticast - Episode 188 (Faia Guest Mix)
Here's a live speech that Randy did at the Zinzino conference in Oslo, Norway.
It's been a quick ascension to the top of the food chain for Dylan Farrugia and Jacob Rossi. As one half of Oslow, the duo have already played with the likes of Title Fight, La Dispute, Knapsack and RVIVR. That's not even taking a glimpse at the shows the band have packed out in their own right, presenting a strong case for being one of Sydney's most interesting and exciting bands. Recently, lightning struck twice for the pair, forming the shoegaze side-project Sweater Season and showing a different side to both their musical influences and abilities. We spoke about both on a cool eve in Marrickville; as well as reflecting on the communities that have built up both bands. Oslow's "No Longer Concerns Me" 7-inch recently got a second pressing. You can purchase a copy here: http://oslow.bandcamp.com/album/no-longer-concerns-me-7 You can also stream the songs on Oslow's Bandcamp: http://oslow.bandcamp.com/album/no-longer-concerns-me-7 Watch the video for "Fatigue," directed by Annabelle Habak, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vB1QAcEg68 Sweater Season's debut single, "Top Heavy," can be streamed and downloaded here: http://sweaterseasonau.bandcamp.com/track/top-heavy-2 Follow Oslow on Twitter: @Oslow_music
