Axel Karakasis is the most recognisable Greek name in the Techno scene. His career is marked by a number of classic themes and a series of appearances that have established him as an international DJ.   The rise to his present status did not happen overnight, but goes back to the 80s and the 90s, when Techno made its first appearance. Fascinated by this new wave, Axel's courtship with electronic music saw a very different light…   By the late 90s, he was already known through various DJ residencies in Athens, as well as through his regular events with his team “Bubbles” –to be remembered to this date by many! This was when the techno wiz-kid earned his place among the top Greek DJs and appeared in numerous events in the biggest clubs of the Greek capital! He soon became the most wanted Greek Techno DJ, playing regularly in the biggest venues in Athens, Thessaloniki, Mykonos, Crete and all over his native Greece.         Being a restless spirit led Axel to new avenues in music production. He always wanted to play unique music in his sets. That's what drove him to get into the studio and begin his own productions. In 2000, he had his first release on Pornographic Recordings and this was only the beginning, as a string of classic releases followed in the likes of Intec Records, MB Elektronics, Primate, etc. to establish himself in a genre he referred to as “Groovy Techno”! With his very own mark on discography, Axel's international career took off. Confirming his status as the most sought after Greek Techno DJ of his time, Axel headlines events in some of the best clubs in the world, such as the Rex Club (Paris), Womb (Tokyo), Turnmills (London), tours regularly countries like Belgium, Colombia, France, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, Korea, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Holland and Brazil, to name a few, and has appeared in top festivals like Awakenings (Netherlands) Rabac Festival (Croatia), Apokalypsa (Czech Republic), etc.: he keeps exciting crowds all over the world!   At present, Axel releases his music in top record labels, like Kombination Research, Planet Rhythm, Tronic and others, whereas his tracks have featured in well known compilations and mix CDs, such as Extreme Euphoria (Ministry of Sound), Cream Ibiza, I Love Techno, and many many more. However, his work wouldn't be complete without his own imprint! In his first venture, he was the co-founder of Omega Audio Recordings, which received rave reviews and support by top DJs world-wide, as well as being a platform for new talents to see the spotlight. In September 2007, Axel decided to channel all his energy into his very own brainchild, Remain Records, which is gradually transforming into a brand encompassing both vinyl (Remain Records) and digital (Remain Records and Remain Limited) releases by Axel, The Advent & Industrialyzer, Marco Bailey, Cristian Varela, Alexander Kowalski, A.Paul as well as newer talent.   Axel's strong reputation is based on his consistency towards the genre that established him. ARKVS [archives] is a collaboration between dj/producers Wesley Visser and Stefan Meijerink from Rotterdam, who are both dj'ing and making music from late 90's. They found a shared passion for dark atmospheric and hypnotic electronic music. With their dj-sets they bring a well-balanced sound to clubs, focusing on techno you will lose yourself in. From tight grooves and rhythms to hypnotizing atmospheres. With a growing catalog of 12" and digital releases they push forward their take on electronic music on influential labels Planet Rhythm, TH Tar Hallow, Pleistocene Future, REVOLT, Muted and DRLD Records. ARKVS first introduced their textured, atmospheric sound through the track Politics of Greed on the Planet Rhythm label, featured alongside techno heavyweights Yan Cook and TWR72. Swedish based deejay and techno producer Markus Axelsson aka MarAxe, has established himself as one of the top techno exports from the Swedish techno scene. He has his roots in the early 90´s techno scene were he also started his deejay career. His productions are driven and hard, often with hypnotic influences and he has had a slew of releases entering the Beatport top 100 techno chart. Senga Ep (Planet Rhythm, 2023) and Zulu Ep (Hydraulix, 2024) both made number 1 on the Junodownload bestseller chart just a few days after release. MarAxe is the founder and manager of STØK Recordings. Ever since he was featured on the NL 500 compilation from Naked Lunch records early 2020, he has had releases out on a variety of labels such as Hydraulix,Naked Lunch, Planet Rhythm, Soma, Sway, Kne´Deep, Remain records - Just to name a few. Dynamic Forces is a duo from Rome, Italy. Devoted and taste for characteristically uncompromising techno, they continue on the heritage of electronic music of the early 2000's and 90's characterised by tougher groove, incisive rhythms and Detroit's souls. Pushing forward their vision of electronic music of the golden years. They've just recently release music on labels such Dolly, Tar Hallow, Kazerne, Planet Rhythm, Be As One Imprint, Emerald, Hardgroove and 2 EP collabs with the legendary duo Exium on Nheoma Records. Releasing music under the B R 1 0 0 2 moniker since 2015, they are owners of Overstep Records, on wich they released music from many techno legends like Regis, Exium, Loktibrada and Dj Boss. The duo are also residents for Silencio events in Rome, a seminal night that has hosted a lot of great artists. Merchant of paced-up, peak-time tonics bound to wreak havoc from the basement up, Honorio champions a sound Infused in steely industrialism and sci-fi-inflected escapology, built to have the woofers screaming in ecstasy. Axel Karakasis is the most recognizable Greek name in the Techno scene. His career is marked by several classic themes and a series of appearances that have established him as an international DJ. The rise to his present status did not happen overnight, but goes back to the 80s and the 90s, when Techno made its first appearance. Fascinated by this new wave, Axel's courtship with electronic music saw a very different light… By the late 90s, he was already known through various DJ residencies in Athens, as well as through his regular events with his team “Bubbles” –to be remembered to this date by many! This was when the techno wiz-kid earned his place among the top Greek DJs and appeared in numerous events in the biggest clubs of the Greek capital! He soon became the most wanted Greek Techno DJ, playing regularly in the biggest venues in Athens, Thessaloniki, Mykonos, Crete and all over his native Greece. Being a restless spirit led Axel to new avenues in music production. He always wanted to play unique music in his sets. That's what drove him to get into the studio and begin his own productions. In 2000, he had his first release on Pornographic Recordings and this was only the beginning, as a string of classic releases followed in the likes of Intec Records, MB Elektronics, Primate, etc. to establish himself in a genre he referred to as “Groovy Techno”! With his very own mark on discography, Axel's international career took off. Confirming his status as the most sought after Greek Techno DJ of his time, Axel headlines events in some of the best clubs in the world, such as the Rex Club (Paris), Womb (Tokyo), Turnmills (London), tours regularly countries like Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, Korea, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Holland and Malta, to name a few, and has appeared in top festivals like Awakenings (Netherlands) Rabac Festival (Croatia), Apokalypsa (Czech Republic), etc.: he keeps exciting crowds all over the world! At present, Axel releases his music in top record labels, like Kombination Research, Planet Rhythm, Tronic and others, whereas his tracks have featured in well known compilations and mix CDs, such as Extreme Euphoria (Ministry of Sound), Cream Ibiza, I Love Techno, and many many more. However, his work wouldn't be complete without his own imprint! In his first venture, he was the co-founder of Omega Audio Recordings, which received rave reviews and support by top DJs world-wide, as well as being a platform for new talents to see the spotlight. Müzmin (Counterchange, Planet Rhythm) Oakland, California Müzmin started releasing in 2016, deriving inspiration from classic Techno and Experimental electronic music variations with a forward-thinking edge. Inspiration and knowledge come from years of performing and composing in different platforms and mediums; experimental electronics, film music, ethnic electronic music blends to name a few. His tracks are made to keep people in the present moment and moving. Running the voodoo down since 2021, French DJ and producer Klint established his name within the upper layers of the techno scene at the speed of light. From his seminal debut and successive follow-ups on Planet Rhythm onto his freshest delivery for Glasgow's finest, Soma Records, the Montpellier-based artist has piled up head-turning releases one after the other. Scanning the fringes between gridlocked 4x4 plastering and zero-G cosmonautics, his series of outings on the likes of Modularz ('The Beyonder', 2021), his acclaimed EP for Truncate ('Apache', 2022), or his hot-off- the-press remix for Alan Fitzpatrick alongside Planetary Assault Systems aka Luke Slater,  as well as his Arsenic EP (2023) on Radio Slave's imprint, REKIDS, all of Klint's releases bear the hallmarks of an artist continually reaching for techno's most differentiating assets and time-proof values.
