Elle est d'ailleurs l'une des rares femmes à en jouer, car il est généralement réservé aux hommes si l'on se réfère à la tradition. RFI : Vous êtes l'une des rares femmes à jouer de la kora. Mais vous êtes venue tardivement à cet instrument. Avez-vous été freinée dans votre élan à une époque ? Senny Camara : « Freinée », c'est vraiment le mot. On m'a dit que c'est interdit, que c'était sacré, que la femme ne devait pas en jouer. On ne m'a jamais vraiment expliqué pourquoi c'était interdit. Comme je n'ai pas eu ma réponse, je suis allée prendre la kora et assumer. Je suis allée en jouer, tout simplement. Je ne suis pas allée chez un maître parce que j'avais peur d'aller chez un maître, mais au conservatoire, car là-bas, il n'y avait pas d'interdit. Tout le monde pouvait jouer de n'importe quel instrument. On a l'impression que de plus en plus de femmes commencent à se mettre à la kora. Est-ce votre impression aussi ? Il y en a de plus en plus. Il y a beaucoup de femmes qui en jouent désormais. C'est un instrument qui est très accessible à tout le monde parce que c'est un instrument. On touche une corde, cela nous touche. Je ne veux pas dire que c'est un instrument de femme, mais uniquement parler de la beauté de cet instrument. Entendre cette beauté, pour moi, c'est la place de l'instrument. Et sa place est aussi chez la femme. Sur ce disque, l'une des chansons parle du sort des tirailleurs sénégalais, ces hommes qui ont combattu pour la France. Vous vous sentez très concernée par leur histoire ? Cela me concerne directement parce que mon grand-père fait partie des tirailleurs, des plus jeunes tirailleurs sénégalais. Les tirailleurs sénégalais n'étaient pas que des Sénégalais, d'ailleurs. Ils sont venus combattre sans demander leur dû. Pas de reconnaissance, ni un pardon. Il faut que l'on en parle. Il ne faut pas qu'on les oublie. Que raconte justement cette chanson ? Cela raconte que nos guerriers sont partis mener une guerre qu'ils ne connaissaient pas. Ils ne savaient pas où ils allaient, ils ne connaissaient pas le terrain. Ils sont partis. Certains y sont restés, d'autres sont revenus. Je parle de l'histoire que mon grand-père m'a raconté, tout simplement. Votre voix et votre kora se marient de manière très naturelle avec le blues et le jazz. Ce sont des styles qui vous ont beaucoup influencé ? J'adore le blues, le folk, le jazz. J'ai beaucoup écouté les Ladies of Jazz des années 1930. Je mélange cela à ma musique. Le blues, c'est pleurer, se révolter, dire ce que personne ne veut entendre. Senny Camara est actuellement en tournée en Europe avec les titres de son premier album Yéné, paru il y a quelques mois. And no one else is doing it like this.” — Michael Gough, Intelligent Communication Assistant (ICA) Imagine a world where every ring, ping, or notification is trusted—and no one wastes time dodging robocalls or deleting spam. That's the world ICA (pronounced “Ikah”) is building. In a recent Technology Reseller News podcast, Michael Gough, Sales and Marketing Leader at ICA, previewed the company's upcoming live demo at the Cloud Communications Alliance's Cloud Connections Conference, taking place April 14–16 in St. Petersburg. ICA will demonstrate what Gough calls the first true AI platform in telecommunications—a system designed to make digital deception impossible, without violating privacy laws, introducing new FCC rules, or requiring user intervention. “ICA restores an era when users could communicate without interruption from unwanted calls, texts, emails, or videos,” said Gough. At its core, ICA isn't just another call filter or branded caller ID feature. It's a patented behavioral AI engine that uses graph neural networks to assess communication attempts across voice, SMS, email, and social media. It then blocks, redirects, or engages the sender—sometimes with a convincing digital assistant that wastes scammer time and discourages future attempts. In a live demo, Gough showed how ICA rerouted a scammer to an intelligent voice assistant that feigned interest, dragging the call out until it became financially unviable for the spammer to continue. Another demo illustrated ICA's intelligence in recognizing legitimate contacts—even scanning social graphs to validate the relationship between caller and recipient, proving its capability in real-time communication vetting. The need is massive: 29% of U.S. cellular calls in Q4 2024 were spam. Over 4.7 million robocalls were placed in January 2025 alone. In February 2025, Americans received 19.2 billion spam texts. Every day, there are 3.4 billion phishing emails and 160 billion spam emails—46% of all email traffic. While STIR/SHAKEN and branded calling offer some protection, they are limited. Branded calling works only on select mobile devices and is vulnerable to impersonation. STIR/SHAKEN doesn't always function when calls cross from TDM to IP networks. And neither applies to email, SMS, or social media. “Branded calling works on mobile, and STIR/SHAKEN only works part of the time. ICA enhances both—and works across all platforms,” explained Gough. Unlike point solutions, ICA is designed to sit across communication ecosystems. It integrates with carrier and platform infrastructure through APIs, simplifying global deployments. Built on open standards from the Camara project and supported by the ADURA API aggregation framework, ICA offers a single integration point for global reach. Whether deployed as a platform-as-a-service or software-as-a-service, ICA provides a crawl-walk-run path that helps carriers begin protecting their networks immediately. For a limited number of partners participating at Cloud Connections, ICA is offering full implementation at no cost. “We're offering a handful of select platforms a chance to deploy ICA free of charge—and we'll even help with implementation,” said Gough. Cette hypothèse peut se défendre, pointe Aujourd'hui. Car quoi qu'on dise, à 15 ans de distance, ce qui lie Doumbouya et Dadis, c'est que tous les deux sont entrés dans l'histoire de la Guinée au son de la canonnière ! La solidarité de corps existe, par-delà les années et les promotions ».De plus, se demande encore le quotidien burkinabé, « le candidat non encore déclaré à la présidentielle, le Général Mamadi Doumbouya, veut- il s'attacher les faveurs de ce grand électeur nommé Moussa Dadis Camara ? Dans cette Guinée électoralement ethnicisée, ou plutôt baronisée, ce n'est pas impossible (…). C'est dire que cette grâce présidentielle (…) est calculée, même si elle est inopportune et abjecte. (…) C'est le cou de la justice qu'on a tordu, s'exclame enfin Aujourd'hui, et on a cantonné les victimes dans un angle mort. Ainsi vont souvent les intérêts en politique ».

Government officials must obtain a warrant before forcibly entering a home (absent consent or an emergency). That rule goes back to the Founding. But in a series of cases, culminating in Camara v. San Francisco in 1967, the Supreme Court announced an ahistorical exception, holding that the Fourth Amendment is less protective when it is a health inspector, rather than a police officer, knocking at the door.
