Hier kommt Mandelbrot Talks Folge 16! Dieses mal haben wir ein Interview mit Dr. Sebastian Staacks für euch. Er ist Mitentwickler und Erfinder der Smartphoneapp Phyphox. Das ist eine App, die die physikalischen Sensoren vom Smartphone nutzt, um damit physikalische Messungen durchzuführen. Dies ist einerseits eine coole Spielerei für den Alltag, eröffnet aber auch neue Möglichkeiten für den Physikunterricht in der Schule. Im Interview erzählt er, wie er auf die Idee gekommen ist, wo Phyphox schon zu Einsatz kommt und wie sich seine berufliche Karriere durch die App verändert hat.
