When a devastating fire destroyed Denture Crafters (https://www.denturecrafters.net/) a few weeks ago, lab manager Amber Rosema and general manager Daniele Collard didn't waste a single moment. From the parking lot of their burned-down lab, they began rebuilding—calling suppliers, securing space, and rallying their team to get dentures back in patients' mouths. Hear the incredible story of how these two leaders kept their employees working, rebuilt their systems, and leaned on the kindness of another lab to get back up and running in just days. They also share what it's like being part of an employee-owned dental lab, their quick move into digital dentures, and the importance of mental health when life—and your lab—literally goes up in flames. It's an inspiring episode of resilience, teamwork, and what makes the dental lab community truly amazing. If you want to help, Daniele and Amber would love your opinion on any of the following items. Feel free to email them at info@denturecrafters.net Drop your favorites below: Boil-out tanks / dewaxers (Electric if possible) CAM milling units Alcohol distiller Acrylic polishers / pumice stations Steam cleaners Sandblasters / Shell Blaster Air compressors (oil-free, quiet) Dust collectors (single and central systems) Vacuum systems (for 3D printers, model trimmers, etc.) Fume extractors / ventilation systems Air purifiers (HEPA, carbon filter, or ionizer type) Monomer / polymer storage Vacuum mixers Resin dispensers Workbenches (lab-grade, suction-integrated if possible) Magnifying lamps / task lighting Autoclave / sterilizer Disinfectant systems / UV cabinets Easy to clean flooring (think clean wax) Laser welders Looking for a way to unlock the full potential of your digital dentistry workflow. Technology (https://www.follow-me-tech.com/), creators of hyperDENT (https://www.follow-me-tech.com/hyperdent/#product_overview). That's why Roland DGA (https://www.rolanddga.com/applications/dental-cad-cam) has partnered with FOLLOW-ME! North America to offer the Roland DGA x hyperDENT Bundle for their DWX-53D series mills. This collaboration gives labs optimized performance, smoother milling, and incredible efficiency gains — with some users reporting up to two hours saved per case cycle without sacrificing quality. And here's the best part: Roland is making this available to everyone through a hyperDENT trade-in promo for existing users. It's the perfect opportunity to upgrade your CAM and take full advantage of the technology you already have. Plus, Nowak Dental Supplies (https://www.nowakdental.com/) is participating in the promotion and adding an exclusive bonus for NOLA Lab Fest attendees: the Multiple Instances feature at no additional cost. Don't miss your chance to see the difference in person! Join Jordan Greenberg — the “hyperDENT dude” himself — at NOLA Lab Fest, November 7–8 (https://www.nolalabfest.com/), and discover how CAM can redefine what your Roland mill can do. Special Guests: Amber Rosema and Daniele Collard.

Hans von Spakovsky discusses the U.S. military's interception of drug boats near Venezuela and criticizes Senator Rand Paul's claim that Congress must declare war before such missions. He describes Venezuela as a narco-terrorist state and highlights China's role in producing fentanyl trafficked through Mexico to the U.S. He says the Caribbean military action sends a message to China and Russia. Spakovsky also reacts to John Solomon's report that CIA officials encouraged signatures on the Hunter Biden laptop letter, calling it shocking and worthy of FBI investigation.

schrijver.En: On the other side of the café sat Lotte, an organized freelance writer. En: But in the hustle and bustle, they forgot the most important thing: their laptops. En: And so it happened that Sander and Lotte, after a few minutes, returned to the same tables, not noticing that they had grabbed the wrong laptops. En: Sander immediately resumed working, while Lotte sat nibbling on a pen as she typed. En: Until they both realized something was off. En: Lotte looked up at the screen with unfamiliar images, and Sander stared frustrated at text that wasn't his at all. En: Both quickly realized what had happened. En: They were sitting with each other's mysterious laptops in front of them. En: They looked at each other from their corners of the café and knew they had to make a plan without causing much commotion. En: With a wink from Lotte and a nod from Sander, they decided to play a little Halloween prank to exchange their laptops back. En: The idea was simple: Sander would stand up and pretend he found a pumpkin mask under his table. En: While he created a distraction, Lotte would quickly swap the laptops. En: When the moment arrived, nothing went as planned.Nl: Sander liet per ongeluk zijn "masker" vallen, en het rolde all the way tot aan het midden van het café.En: Sander accidentally dropped his "mask," and it rolled all the way to the center of the café. En: Lotte, who was meanwhile discreetly trying to exchange the laptops, burst into laughter. En: The plan fell apart, and the crowd began enthusiastically joining in on what they thought was a spontaneous Halloween stunt. En: The café filled with laughter and giggles. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Audio Post Production: Manuel Correa Kunnen. // Die Dunkelkammer ist ein Stück Pressefreiheit. Leftist fantasies are now on full display for the world to see, and that looks like part of the plan. Tonight's first 56 minutes is a federal employee chat group plotting subversive noncompliance. Group sessions for hate therapy. A checkoff list for bitching. With twisted history and shallow reasoning. On our dime, they plan to bring down the government. These calls should never have taken place. There's 20 participants involved just from the CDC. Laptop issues plague us. Iran, Venezuela, Ukraine, they've all had civil disobedience. Who handles the organization, finance and management of these efforts? We are propping up the new praetorians again. It's not science or service, it's strategy. They use the vocabulary of political safety. It's a mix of truth, narrative framing and outright fiction. We always ask who benefits? And how do narratives migrate? The patterns are hidden in plain sight. Our exported revolutions are returning home. The war is soft but the stakes are high. Hope lives in those who refuse to be motivated by fear. The Phoebe case is moving forward. Behind their words is the same soft power coup strategy that's been used forever. The subtle hints about non human intelligent life. Will the real John Titor please stand up? That's a good memory for such a little girl. Here is a real story about a gifted child we all know.
Wall Street Journal reporter Robert McMillan and FBI agent Joe Hooper recount the story of Christina Chapman, a Minnesota woman who is drawn into the world of laptop farming. She is struggling to make ends meet, living in a trailer without running water, and a job offer to be the US representative for an international company is a godsend. Laptop farms gained popularity in 2020 with the rise in remote work, allowing North Korean workers to evade sanctions, infiltrate American companies, and funnel money directly into North Korea's weapons programs. They hire people, like Christina, to run dozens of computers from their homes using software that allows remote access. The hiring companies, many of which are high-profile, are unknowingly giving North Korea money and access to sensitive data.
Lithium-ion battery devices are just about everywhere in our homes, from smartphones to cordless power tools. While the devices are convenient, it's important to know safety tips to prevent lithium-ion batteries from overheating and starting a fire. What should I look for when buying rechargeable items? Look for a safety certification from a nationally recognized testing laboratory like UL (Underwriters Laboratories) or ETL (Intertek). These certifications show the lithium-ion battery inside the product meets minimum U.S. safety standards for electrical and fire safety. When are lithium-ion batteries most at risk of catching fire? Charging is the riskiest time for lithium-ion batteries. To stay safe, always use the charger that came with the device or one that's approved by the manufacturer. Using an incompatible charger can lead to overheating, which increases the risk of fire. What are the warning signs that a charging battery might be unsafe? Watch for these common signs of battery failure: Unusual heat. A bulging or swollen battery. A strange, sweet, or metallic smell. If you notice any of these, stop using the device right away and unplug it from the charger. Where is the best place to store lithium-ion battery-powered devices? Store devices in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid keeping battery-powered items in cars, garages, or outdoor sheds, especially during very hot or cold weather. What's the safest way to dispose of lithium-ion batteries? Never put lithium-ion batteries in the regular trash or recycling bin. Damaged or improperly discarded batteries can ignite and cause fires in garbage trucks and landfills. Instead, take them to a certified battery recycling center. Find a location near you at Call2Recycle.org. Can I safely charge an e-bike and scooter indoors? No. The safest place to charge e-bikes and scooters is on a hard surface outdoors out of direct sunlight in a dry place. How do I safely charge devices with lithium-ion batteries? While no method is completely risk-free, you can reduce the fire risk by: Charging on a hard, non-flammable surface. Keeping devices away from flammable materials (such as beds, rugs, and couches). Monitoring the device. Unplugging after charging. How do I know if my device has a lithium-ion battery? Many everyday rechargeable devices use lithium-ion batteries, including: Smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches. Laptops. Power tools. E-bikes, e-scooters, and electric vehicles (EVs). Electric toothbrushes. Check the product manual or labeling for battery information. Smoke alarms: Where to put them, how often to replace batteriesHow to escape from a house fireSafe charging tips for your home (National Fire Protection Association video)

In 2016, a long-haul trucker and his wife — a night-shift nurse expecting their first child — moved into a modest three-bedroom house just outside Newport News, Virginia. The home was bright, only fifteen years old, and seemed perfect for starting their family… until the first weekend. While painting the nursery closet, he heard slow, deliberate footsteps overhead in the empty loft. A few weeks later came flickering lights, quick camera-like flashes in the corners of their eyes, and what sounded like muffled voices upstairs when no one was home. After their baby arrived, the upstairs began to feel heavy and oppressive at night. One early-morning wake-up changed everything: at 3 A.M., the couple heard the glow of the husband's sleeping laptop screen and the unmistakable sound of keys slowly tapping — tap… tap-tap… tap. Grabbing a flashlight, he crept up the stairs. The typing stopped the moment he stepped into the loft. The desk chair turned slowly on its own, then faced him and went still. Was it stress, imagination… or something trying to communicate through the keyboard? #TrueHaunting #LoftHaunting #RealGhostStory #HauntedHouse #ParanormalActivity #TypingInTheDark #HauntedNursery #NewportNewsHaunting #RealParanormal #CreepyTrueStories Love real ghost stories? James Comey has been indicted on two federal counts — lying to Congress and obstruction of a congressional proceeding. But what does this mean for the broader debate over justice, accountability, and the politicization of government? In today's episode, Todd Huff breaks down the charges against the former FBI director and explains the difference between a grand jury and a trial jury — and why that process matters in a free society. While many on the Left dismiss this indictment as political retribution, Todd argues that true rule of law must cut both ways. It is dangerous to weaponize government against political opponents, but it is equally dangerous to allow powerful elites to operate without accountability.Todd also highlights the long pattern of government abuse and selective enforcement — from IRS targeting of Tea Party groups, to the Steele dossier and Russia collusion hoax, to the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story and Big Tech censorship. Context matters, and so does balance: justice must not become revenge, but neither should it be abandoned out of fear of political consequences.(Sponsor: 48 Financial)(Sponsor: Full Sweet Wealth)(Sponsor: Freedom Marketplace)(Sponsor: Soltea – promo code TODD)

What is your relationship with the trash heap of digital history? Can you still connect your old hard drives? Still sifting through your old photos in the cloud? Do you ever low key snoop in the old electronics of other people, searching for treasure? That's what Noah Simmons was doing a while back when he discovered something compelling in its simplicity: a homework assignment document, on an old laptop picked up at an estate sale. The title of the essay? "My Secret Place." From there, the mystery of the author, and the meaning it had for so many people who got hit right in the feels by a nostalgic description of childhood, played out on TikTok. Like hundreds of thousands of people online, Team Endless Thread had to know more.
